With torpedos and DDs in smoke it is quite useful, not so much for distant targets.

10% RoF reduction is not a massive hit. Please consider that you are not firing non-stop from start to finish of the match. The damage reduction should be 3 to 5%.

If you go for boosting secondaries, you should choose AFT. If you consider only AA, I think MFC is better. -

I posted the Arkansas Beta for a reason. The WR difference to Wyoming is around 9%. And you do not really believe that a Kongo is weaker than the Nikolai? -

Premium ships should be adapted if they are too strong or to weak, since their performance effects everyone. The Nikolai is a special case. While her average performance is much better than that of regular ships, it has a quite similar performance as the Arkansas Beta which is basicly a Wyoming. This is a result of different sets of players playing the ships. While I do believe that the Nikolai is slighty better than the Wyoming (at the price of much weaker AA), I do not see the ship as too powerful. You have an similar effect with Kongo and ARP Kongo. My computer is a bit older, but I got a SSD some time ago and under optimal conditions I get into the game with 40 second left on the counter. Unfortunately that is not always the case. Especially the first game takes a bit longer to load, but usually I get into the match before it starts. But sometimes it takes extremly long and it happened to me in the past that I entered the game 90 seconds after match start. Other times I have good loading times and suddenly after my xth battle I barely make into the game before the match begins. This erratic results are not hardware problems, since the hardware stays always the same. The problem is the software (see below). War Thunder has a much more detailed graphic and loads much faster. WG should do something about it.

Retraining a captain with that skill on an IJN DD Tier V or lower (Umikaze is an exception). I can retrain that captain on any other ship without a problem. Luckily I have the Ishizuchi. Unfortunately that makes the Kamikaze R less useful to me.

No torpedos are spotted at just 10m. Aerial torpedos can appear quite late, but you can see the planes from kilometers away.

Its not easy, its hard. You do not have that problem with other ships.

Ja, das ist normal. Manchmal sieht man die Spitze des Schiffs schon und manchmal ist es schon eine Schiffslänge hinter der Insel hervor gekommen. Kann nervig sein, vor allem wenn einem das Schiff schon ne Breiseite aus 2 km verpasst und man es sieht wenn man gerade explodiert.

Sichtbarkeit wird nicht in Echtzeit geprüft, sondern alle X Sekunden. Zuerst taucht das Schiff auf der Minimap auf (das ist eigentlich immer recht fix), dann wird es auf dem Bildschirm gerendert und im nächsten Augenblick taucht auch die Zielanzeige für das Schiff auf. Das kann schon 2-3 Sekunden oder länger (bei schlechter Verbindung) dauern.

Das finde ich auch nachteilig an der neuen Kapitänsfertigkeit.

Was meinst weshalb die Kreuzer sichtbar geworden sind? Wegen den Murmeln. Schiffe bekommen NACH dem Feuer was auf die Entdeckungsreichweite aufgeschlagen, NICHT vorher.

In BBs and CAs you do more damage, in gunboats you hunt little Shimakazes, in CVs you have no care in the world. -
