That is the reason you do not use the Top 5% of the Flint. If you take Top 5% of any other Tier VII cruiser and compare that with the Flint player base, you get roughly similar player bases. Flint player base is probably still smaller. If you took the Top 5% of Flint that is like taking the Top 5% of the Top 5% (basicly taking the Top 0,25%) of any other cruiser.

As long as you show your bow to enemy BB, you can take the damage. Use cover to get closer. If your team stays back, you have a problem. If your team advances, you can see that having the biggest guns on any Tier VI ship is an advantage.
