    Captain retraining for gold is not P2W. Sims does not perform very well to be considered P2W.

    It was already answered and quite obvious. With RU ships they hoped to attract a bigger playerbase in RU. It did not work and did not help on the other servers. It was a mistake, a mangement screw up, nothing more.

    That should be obvious. Unfortunately even experienced players give such advice while inexperienced players might give good advice. Judge the message, not the messenger!

    Judge an advice by the content, not by the messenger. When your four year old kid tells you to break/stop at a red light, you do not ignore him because he has no drivers license....

    I usally smoke at 19kn while breaking. I have done that at 20 to 14 kn, I have done that with less speed while keeping the speed for a time, no problem.

    Furutaka, Aoba, Myoko, Fubuki, Hatsu,... That is a lot of 10km torps that can be launched into smoke. With Atlanta, Belfast and Indianapolis you got radar at Tier VII.

    If one enemy can see you, all can see you. If smoke blocks line of sight, so it does yours. Unless your friendly DD is on the enemies side of the smoke --> getting focus fired. The enemy does not need to take A. He just sinks anyone from the southteam that goes into A. When enough ships a sunk, a DD can sneak in and take the cap. I had games where three enemy ships were sunk in under two minutes with focus fire.

    Bad people always figure out loopholes. Some might take longer, but there would be people complaining about it on the forum --> Loophole is public knowledge.

    Now we get closer to the problem. Two months minus two weeks is six weeks. If it were only three weeks, then you gave me the wrong time frame (one reason I did not believe you). Now you are telling me that you played only 30 games in that entire time while one could expect around 75 games in that time frame, considering your stats (different player behaviour than normal, you should have written that). While it is mathematicly possible to have a winrate of 10% for 30 games (in three weeks) and bring back your monthly winrate back to 61% with the remaining 68 games you apparently did in one week (83,5 WR necessary), it is highly unlikely. Winning only 3 games out of 30 and then winning 56 out of 68 games... No, not really. That is the reason I did not believe you.

    The exact opposite is the case. Any ship in A can be targeted by all ships of the north team that go A. The north team can bring all its firepower into A. From the south team, only the ships north of the island can bring all their firepower against the north team. All other ships south of the islands can only target ships in line of sight. Line of sight changes constantly as the enemy moves and your ship moves (unless you stand still at an opening, very bad without smoke). Therefore the south team can only bring part of their firepower into play (unless all south ships enter the north side at the same time) Considering that both teams bring the same amount and composition of ships to the cap, the north team has a firepower advantage. Basicly this is a similar situation as going the through the middle on Two Brothers or Solomon Islands. You go through gaps, your ships have restricted movement, your field of fire is limited and when its opens up, every enemy can shoot at you. The angles are better on Shards (enemies mostly to the front), but it is still a bad position.
