I will remind this every time WG posts about it: the fact that we dont get discounts for camos when we already had one is shitty, especially when the camo was received, not bought. It wasnt even possible to not accept these camos or sell them.

Which still is shitty cause we never asked for those camos & had no way of declining them or even getting rid of them

I got a Fenyang in the christmass event. Good port filler, but after trying it out it genuinely doesnt seem to do anything well. Shitty guns, less nimble than most BBs, not stealthy, no good torps (lack count, cant hit cruisers or DDs, very slow reload). The only thing it seems to have going for it is a pretty good AA suite. The stats on this thing are absolutely terrible, it seems to be the worst tier 8 DD. Some suggestions to make it at least somewhat playable: 1. Give the 100mm a 25mm pen rule like found on Japanese, removing the 100% necessity for IFHE 2. Change the Defensive AA consumable to a Main battery reload consumable, Hydroacoustic search, Repair party, or even Radar. Anything useful in combat really. 3. Let the Deepwater torps also hit cruisers. Superdeepwater torps are Asashios thing, and it kind of works on Asashio. Asashio is stealthy, fast, has arguably better guns, better manoevrability, a much more useful torpedo armament with faster relaod, as well as a more convenient commander setup (no IFHE required). It makes no sense that Fenyang has both its guns and its torps so seriously hindered. Any of the three above would help, but to turn Fenyang into a proper premium somewhere in the midrange of tier 8 DD performace I'd expect all three would need to be picked up.

Star saving is a mechanism that misses the core flaw of ranked. You see, winning or losing ranked is much more determined by bad players than it is by good ones. So stars should be distributed based on actual battle performance (or a derivative such as experience) primarily, with win/loss only coming in later.

CV autopilot used to be fine. Up till when they introduced an "upgraded" version, which suffers from every mental problem in existence

Yeah, but Collingwood is a tier 7 battleship. Kind of falls out of all comparison here. Erie, as a tier 1 cruiser, is a lot worse. Especially when it comes to dealing with tier X CVs.

Fenyang clearly isnt a sidegrade to a premium or tech tree. The closest example of a sidegrade would probably be Akatsuki/Yugumo to Asashio. You lose some functionality on torpedos but in return the torpedos that you do get are amazing. In this case, as mentioned, Fenyang performs worse than Akizuki in nearly every way. In Fenyangs case, the superdeepwater aspect on the torpedos adds little to what Akizuki already had in damage, speed or range. In addition, the guns are slaughtered- so the whole basis of an akizuki is gone. Imo Haarlem is a decent grind. Not the most fun, but 100% playable. Kansas is straight up good in my book, i dont know about Veneto. Personally, id rank Maerker in the top 25% of best tier 8s. Very strong ship. So experiences differ aswell. But in the case of Fenyang, i believe it is not just bad statwise (that in itself is not a huge deal), it is also simply not fun to play

Wow, youre right, 0,5% chance for the small containers. It used to be around 20% for the credit container, 5% for signal and coal. Now 0, 0 and 0. So i guess it did become a lot harder to obtain port slot outside of just playing.

Definitely not. But if you are new; make sure to check the "More credits" containers. They have a chance of dropping port slots. So if youre short, they are an amazing opportunity to get that sorted. And regular activity will slowly help expand your port size aswell. Try not to spend your doubloons on it though, its a waste really- itll add up quickly if you want a significant amount.

I have ~380 port slots total, and i bought maybe 20-40 of them. Most for 75 dubs.

Imo Stalingrad is pretty much only about the guns. Anything else is periphery. While shes got competition from Marseille and Petropavlovsk, Stalingrad still retains amazing guns with a completely unmatched 2.65 sigma, insane krupp and pen, velocity etc. 20k+ salvos shouldnt be uncommon. Was my second steel ship after Flint (talk about living up to expectations eh), i still love it for ranked, clan battles, brawls and randoms. Its only kind of poor at coop, because well, its coop

So i have opened a few too many mega boxes and got various ships. Not exactly blow away by the results, but i was straightout disappointed with one- and im kind of curious for a WG statement tbh. I got a Massachusetts, rare category. Amazing right? Right... Until you know that i already owned massachussetts B. That all of a sudden makes this rare drop one of the worst drops possible. To make things worse, the same happened with Sims. Can you please start grouping these ships? Im seriously disappointed with that drop.

Update: i finished the battle pass and got the premium for another 5 megas. Good rate right, especially with all other goodies. I got a bloody Kutuzov! Really happy with that, that quite offsets the earlier disappointment. As a matter of fact, i was hoping on kutuzov even :)

Depends on your style. I have Shikishima, Stalingrad, Plymouth, Austin, Rooseveldt, Incomparable. I really like them except maybe Rooseveldt. Id say Vallejo isnt too special, though US utility cruisers are good. But imo plymouth can do most of that- in a neptune way, much more fun. Incomparable would be a good one if you like BBs, Stalingrad is still amazing as one of the best heavy cruisers in game

Yeah guess what, they stick by the wording. When i got the B versions for massa and sims, i did not have the regular. So no compensation. Truly a terrible drop, wish i could at the very least trade in a B version or something.

Small update: I sent a ticket three days ago (nearly four). No response yet, so i doubt id even be able to complete those missions if they do reinstate them since they expire end of the year. Hoping something comes out of that, but even if thats the case the massachussetts is still a painfull drop i think. Pretty much any other ship wouldve been better. Plus, in all "black" ships i now pretty much own all originals as well- be it that i got them after i got the black versions. Thats totally lame. Happened on four ships now.

For anyone pointing out these missions for black friday: I do not have access to those missions. So those 2500 & 1500 doubloons really are not available. Or at least, i dont see them & wouldnt know how to unlock them. And while i fully accepted the idiocracy of this gambling, i know i shouldnt do that to begin with, i think this result is just a kick in the nuts, making the black friday stuff even worse than regular.

"Will start again by the 23rd" is ambiguous language that leaves room for interpretation as to whether the people who missed out should get it before the 23rd/24th. Answer is: yes, you should get it before 24th if youve missed it.

So is this about the birthday or account anniversary? Im confused. I surely missed the birthday (a week ago), wondering if anything is coming there.

Imo it often mainly disadvantages players who know exactly what theyre doing, but who have team mates that dont. Make these ops such that a single player could somehow carry & the problem is nearly gone already
