I got a Tiger 59 and a marblehead Lima in the 7 mega crates that i got using certificates. The marblehead is just a filler, but the Tiger 59 is a ship that i was interested in, but never wouldve picked up myself- simply cause i wasnt 100% convinced. Gonna test it out now :D

Ive opened my "free" mega gifts (7 pieces from tier X certificates) and obtained a.o. a Tiger 59, Marblehead Lima and 12.500 coal. Really happy with it, i hoped to get one tier 7-8 and got one that i was really interested in, but wouldnt have picked up myself

I hate that people act up so badly now, while WG has made serious improvements lately. There is still a lot of room for improvement- so lets be constructive. Lets point out what we like & dont, while not bashing too much.

What happened is the JB was no longer spotted, i.e. disappeared, and the torps probably were simply not gonna hit it. Instead they accidentally hit the cruiser Prove me wrong with the replay.

I very much approve of the mercy rule. However, i think the mercy rule kicking in at #20 is a bit late. The concept is amazing, dont get me wrong about that. But imo the mercy rule could probably kick in sooner.

There is a guaranteed drop. Once the chance reaches <10% sequentially (chance of not getting a ship at all in x rows), the next drop will be a ship. Not sure if this number holds for all types of containers. Also, the 10% may seem okay, but a 10% sequential chance takes forever to reach. Imo its too low to be significant, but well have to see the numbers on santas boxes. When the chance to drop a ship increases, the guaranteed drop also happens sooner. But for the regular black friday containers the guaranteed drop would only be after 719 drops- which you cant even obtain for that type. Not sure if the guaranteed always happens after 10% sequential, imo WG might want to look into this more. 10% sequential is a crazy low odd, for boxes with a 12% chance to drop a roughly 25-50% sequential would make a lot more sense imo

Elbing line. On paper this line looked soo boring- until you realise the AP is stronger than that of most cruisers. Citadelling hindenburgs on 12km is quite funny

Camo is only worth it if u wanted one anyway. I bought a camo for fletcher and mino, and got around 15 (excl prem/special) from missions etc. Nowadays permacamos are not worth it. Any premium ship is a good reward if u dont have it or a clone imo

The "balance" of CVs has been: nerf them to the point where they are played so little that it hits the sweet spot in player reception. Now, from a business PoV thats understandable, but honestly i dont like it. Were left with CVs that generally are a lot less fun to play than the initial rework, while the counterplay is still just as bad as it was before. Subs have a very similar situation going on i think, although for instance removing the submerged spotting is a great step in the right direction. I think WG would do well in more clearly differentiating- for themselves, you dont need to justify it to me- what differences there are between ideal gameplay balance and ideal customer balance. Please do not release any premium subs and then do a Rooseveldt or Saipan on them, cause honestly- it hurts the playerbase, even if its favourable from a monetary PoV. Its better to have a good balance straight away. I am happy to give actual constructive tips as well, pm or tag me if u want some.

If only theyd get an intern some day to correct the order & logic behind all of the AND and OR statements in that filter. That filter is 100% bugged

The whaling site simply included an indication of how much resources/ gifts you could collect, based on the ships you own. For those people that cant figure out such things based on the carousel. But yeah, imo it doesnt really have a lot of added value except maybe the initial overview. Shame we dont get steel and coal anymore, the NY event has been steadily degrading IMO

Well, i think quite often tbh. Over half of my wins? Also, most of my low tier losses are caused by ending at 0 points, at least u could have a better battle if ppl cap more then. Aah yes, much like the map without any cap circles, i also love the map with 5 cap circles

Just quit the whole prerelease event then- they are meager anyway. Give us proper, rewarding events instead of hard grinding for a tier 6 standard tech tree ship. Just release the bloody line- and let people who wish to pay for it, pay 200eu to have the line one update earlier. Solved?

They stopped doing discounts in a proper way roughly four years ago. Now, the black friday offer will have a selection of four Black-version ships, as well as some old ones, barely cheaper than the normal counterparts. The black friday containers give a chance to drop ships from a selected pool, wait for the pool to be public (i believe dunkerque B, lo yang B, saipan B, pommern B, yoshino B. All interesting ships imo) to see if thats interesting. New year brings containers, interesting if u want a bunch of random ships, and maybe a 1000eu(+?) all premiums bundle. Lunar new year (early 2022) brings interesting cheap panasians often, or good container chances. Then we have the discount coupon- the most reliable option.Refreshes around christmass Many of the events dont offer straight premium ship discounts, but instead work with containers- lootboxes. Best imo is to decide what ships are worth full price first, then see if u can get that ship discounted somehow in a reasonable timeframe. You want any tier 8? Wait for a discount. You want the Indomitable specifically (jk, no one wants that)? Then use a coupon if ur not buying a more expensive ship the coming while
