Well yeah, but then again it is a relatively uncommon mistake to make and from a game development point of view it is a fairly logical choice. Would be nice if you could just patch one version to the other, but this just costs you a bit more time for a mistake you probably wont make again ;) -

For as far as im aware NO. There are separate clients and youll need to remove the NA one and download the EU version. -

Aircraft indeed prefer to take off into the wind, since the airspeed is higher then, which causes the lift to be higher and as a result aircraft will take off easier. Also, this whole thread is complete nonsense for an arcade game, lets do away with it, or implement gun wear, shell interference with wind aswell, shell collisions, wave drag, waves, ships capsizing, and more. -

Islands only block AA to a very small extent, but hitting with rockets is generally impossible when youre behind an island (from the island side at least), with torpedos is impossible, and with bombers is very difficult -
I dunno when the images posted are about the Yamatos aft citadel weakspot when really the frontal citadel weakspot is generally much easier to hit, especially at close ranges. Depends on how she's angled of course, but the frontal one is generally better aligned with the covering plating, which significantly lowers the chance of non-pens or ricochets

"against good CV player there is not too much you can do". Hm, no surely in most DDs you're screwed if you run accross a top 5% enterprise player. So thats what, 1 in 300 games? There is a lot you can do against CVs, but most ppl here are giving 0 tips whatsoever. 1. Toggle your AA off by default if your AA range is larger than air detectability (USN, IJN, KM, RN) or leave it on if its roughly equal or lower (MR, USSR). Then turn it on once the aircraft detect you anyway, pop your priority sector, and turn it off as soon as the squadron exits your detectability range. DO NOT LEAVE AA ON. 2. You generally mitigate damage from HE bombs best by going broadside into it. 3. For rockets, the best way is simply to let as little rockets hit you as possible. Same goes for bombs of course, but generally to lesser extent. To achieve this, play with your speed, steer into the aircraft approach direction if you think the enemy will overshoot you, or away if he wont- try not to end up broadside though. 4. Islands can help force the enemy to take a particular approach route, which in turn makes damage mitigation or even dodging a lot easier. 5. Most DDs have smoke screens- in some cases using them is not a bad idea. You might not have planned to use it at that time, but you can still shoot and all. After all, smokescreens are there for exactly this purpose- to go unspotted when normally you would be spotted. Be sure not to get torpedod by the enemy CV though, this is a common mistake many DD players make. 6. On some maps you really shouldnt want to run away from your team in the first three minutes too far when theres a CV, particularly in french DDs. French DDs are both very fast and will thusly get some distance between them and their allies quickly, but also they really lack any AA power at all. So take this into account at the start of a battle in the same way that you take radar into account. -

I just read over the whole description of all stages and i got a tad insulted. I will complete 30 stages or perhaps more, which means i'll have a floating ship, perfectly functioning, except it doesnt have the proper paintings & tableclothes fitted. Yeah WG, i was kinda positive about the event, i even thought id give the directives a go, but you massively screwed up with this one. Give it a half years period with maybe three times the points and it'd have been cool -

Hi there! Over at BBMM we can probably provide you with a bit of a challenge, even if we are not the most competitive clan ever. We try to find a sweet spot between fun and competitive, which on one hand means that you probably wont be reaching typhoon league with us (heck we'll try), but on the other hand we're not too strict when it comes to dedication, playing specified ships etc. Consider it casually competitve while trying our very best to get as far as we can, we reached the struggle for hurricane last season. Trying to cover the Puerto Rico with things that look even worse or whats going on? It was clear over a year ago that the concept for the Indomitable was poor, and that it would need very, very strong rockets & bombs to work. Failed.

So, lets list a couple of things that you boast here. 1. Four historical commanders, three of which are hidden behind a massive grind or 175k coal and are not generally available to public- all three of which are better than Halsey or Yamamoto- while Sansonetti was indeed doable. 2. Submarine testing, to be done by WG employees and CCs, while largely hidden from the general playerbase- 0 communication for over four months to the players that applied. 3. Dockyard event. Its nice you guys show the full animation for building Puerto Rico for once, because for the lives of us no one is going to see it happen. 4. CV improvements: CVs werent really improved. CVs were extremely clunky when introduced, and that was fixed. Anything done afterwards was nerfing CVs. 5. Russian BBs really havent been good for the game. Now, there are a fair bit of things to be proud of in 2019, but even mentioning the whole dockyard is pretty pathetic IMO- 30 replies

While the fail div contributes to the problem, the true reason for the big error is the fail div on enemy team. Their tier IX DD would never have been chosen, which you can find from the fact that the enemy has a Yuugumo, while the friendly team got a Lo Yang (not matched against eachother). So the Yugumo would be matched against friendly fail div, but the problem is that then an additional tier IX DD was added- the Jutland- while it shouldnt have. . You got unlucky because you faildivved AND the enemy did and the effects stacked only against you.

I dunno if anyone said this, but its not all you get. It also factors in an extra 10% fire chance reduction, which combined with damage control mods brngs your fire susceptability to 85% instead of 95% with dcm or 100% base . So it lowers the chance you catch on fire, which is generally the main effect imo, but also reduces the second superstructure fire spot.

It doesnt sound THAT odd to me. You set 1waypoint, dont use aircraft, as such donnot have manual input, and donot meet the travelled distance requirement. Arguably it shouldnt haplen, but the system recognises this as though you did nothing during the battle- and quite frankly you didnt do anything.

Server issue/ super low FPS (21/12 approx 12:50 CET)

As the title suggests, i'm currently having very bad FPS issues, around 10FPS. ping is fine, internet speed is fine, only FPS is acting up. Anyone else who has this issue? Makes aiming and all nearly impossible. Grtz I_Y -
It was half of a note to myself to look into this actually, could be possible to write a mod for it / pass the changelog code to wg since its probably a more requested feature
