because grinding and getting a tier X ship is so easy, tier X battles are full of [edited]. and having even a single retard in your team at tier X battles affects the game much more than it affect the game at low or mid tiers. -

If you do that you have to warn him and not in a silly way. For example my example from previous post. 2 yamatos charging towards eachother. If you lauch torps in my direction to hit the enemy yamato. But doesnt make any difference you warn me or not.you warned me and i have to turn to dodge that torpedos. Even a little angle change cost me citadels in that situation. So this is something you shouldnt do. Let them engage and see what happens. And being pink is not an enough punishment imo. It would be nice to have a 24 hour ban for the ship you used to tkill your friendly. -

That guy who started this thread was guilty. Situations like this are no accidents. Single rule. Dont launch torpedos if there is a friendly ship in front of you. Who makes that, can actually get a 24 hour ban for the ship he did that. -

And there are really no need to whine about new torpedos. I saw this yesterday once again. I engaged a shimakaze with its new super fast torpedos. And i did everthing to dodge them. But he managed to score torpedo hits. It is almost impossible to dodge this torpedos. -

Do you have issues with understanding? Did i said anything about damage? Im talking about skill. a retard cannot hit anything from that distance. But a retard can launch torpedos with an indicator. A retard can not survive long with a bb or ca, but a retard can easly stay undetected by spaming torps from 12+km. Better now? Anything? Did you get it? -

you said im in the smoke oh sh*t i missed that part. im burning and i dont have repair ok then i would launch all of my torps to that yamato but then i would ping to that kurtuzov like crazy and i would warn him to turn away. i said those people moron because i had such situatios. actually i had them with my yamato, tirpitz, iowa... for example im charging a north carolina to torp him with tirpitz. then, wtf torpedo alarm and i look to otherside, friendly launched torps at the north carolina and didnt even warn me. this is really common and there are too many morons like that. the situation you told was extrem. i had no repair and i was burning. -

wait a little bit and see what is going to happen. maybe he is going to ram him and they both will sink. or maybe he is just gonna get killed by the yamato. if yamato kills him i would launch torpedos. and thank you for that post. i was going to mention also that kind of m*rons who see you charging towards the enemy but still launch torpedos no matter what. -

i remember that fubuki had more than 5,4 km thats why i wrote it. its very low detection range and you should definitely be at the first line while you can spot even other nation dds without being spotted. if the torps were going to go towards my team, i dont launch them. but if i see any little chance of hitting my team. i ping the ships that could be in danger and i continue to warn them until they respond me. (by pinging all the time and by writing in chat) -

its risk free. you are not spotted=nobody shoots at you, you are out of the radar range=you cannot get spotted (well if you get spotted just use smoke) and there are also lack of cvs at top tiers. so basicly there was no danger for long range torp spammers exept random torps from other dds. so sitting bbs, sit to much= torpedos and he spam. constantly damage. cas, the same thing. sail on a straight line= get citadeled. dds stealth make long range torpedo spam risk free. and no other ship has that advantage. other DDs, like gearing: it is the most affected DD from radar. they can shoot without being detected yes but the shell arc is just painfull and you are doing no damage or very little damage to other ships from that distance. yes shima will be also affected and its how it should be. other dds are affected so why should shima has the luxus of not getting affected by radar? so shima is stil deadly as it was before. the only difference is now that bad players are gonna suck with it whle good players are getting good results. -

how do 8 km torpedos not work? im gonna try it with 81 kts topedos so with 6,4 km torps when i have enough credits to spent for it. and saw also many shimas at the top of the scoreboard. i guess some people can just manage to get good results with it. and i think if some people can do that and you cant, you should ask yourself where you do mistakes. -

18+km camper BB is just a retard most times. and yes it takes still less skill with an idicator while staying undetected. it doesnt really look like that it requires any skill. and i dont see anyone crying here exept long range torpedo spammers. -

i also play DDs so i know about 2 mins reload time. and yes if you think that there is a little chance keep it for 1-2 mins and gt a better position. and if you play that torpedo bots like fubuki, kagero or shimakaze (exp. kagero with a detection range of 5.4 km) you have to be at the front line of all your friendly ships. so if you have some friendlys in front of you, that means you are doing something very very wrong. -

or people are so [edited] to get close and benefit the new super fast torpedos. Look, there were a huge increase at IJP DD population because of the buffs they got with previous 2 pathces. it all started with 5.3. and even the most m*ron people was able to get good results with a shimakaze because i didnt require skill. can you understand this? thats why were were getting like 6-7 even 8 dds in a team. with that patch, there will be good shimakaze captains left and the [edited] ones are going to play something else hopefully. so if you try playing right, you wont get any problems. i even think to play it with 81 kts torpedos and i feel like i got a good buff to it. -

There are still people who claims that shimakaze is useless now. Those are only [edited]s. No more long range spam. You need to show some f*cking skill now. Even a 5 years old kid could stay behind 10-12 km and spam torps. Yes long range torpedos are nerfed. But people, who play shimakaze properly, got a perfect buff. Before the patch shimakaze had no risks at all. Stay back and spam torps until you die to a random torpedo. Now they also need to take risks like all other ships do. So stop whining and play your ship properly. Your whine doesnt make any sence like saying this"i sit in my yamato but i can get citadeled from broadside what the hell yamato needs a buff." You need to play every ship with a little skill and you will be fine. -

Get in a clear position and then launch. And if you are in a dd you should be at the front line anyways. Its bullsh*t. Torp spammer is the only guilty one here. There is a possibility the friendliy ship to turn 180 degs. So unless you are sure that you are not gonna hit any friendly, hold your torpedos and get a better position. And some people complains here about getting pink with 1 teamkill. Team killing the friendly with secondaries is an accident. But torping the friendly or shooting the friendly has no excuse. If you do that you should get pink immediately. -

yes i dont do that mistake. why should i launch torpedos if i have any friendly in the way? well i read the rest and its even worse. "it seems impossible to turn..." seriously? how can it seem impossible a dd to turn around that quick(!) if you are a dd you have to be at the first line to torp enemy. if you are in a CA, first you must be aware of your torpedo range. i saw many [edited] people torping the enemy from 10+km with a torpedo range of 6 km. then you have to be very careful and you must think the opposite way. for example for that situation you had, you have to say: "ok, i might torp the enemy but it seems possible my friendly dd to turn into my torpedos." -

this is such a [edited]. i didnt even read after this sentence. they dont have to be aware of torpedes from their friends behind them, you must have to be aware of your teammates in front of you! hold your torpedos if you have any chance of hitting your enemy. mostly damage wh*re noobs do that. they want to get some extra sweet torpedo damage without looking around. if you hit your ally with your torpeos, you are the guilty one, not the guy you torped.
