does yamato has no risk to play right now? it has much more risk then shima had before the patch. if you think it has less risk well ry to play it yourself. i played them both and trust me shima had no risks before the patch. i heard this also from many good players. and dont know if you remember but the citadel mechanic was changed. before it got a nerf, you could citadel a ship much more easier. they made it slightly harder. it is not an overkill omg it became harder to play thats it.after i finish my grinds and get my 2 tier 10s i will make gameplay videos about shimakaze. I dont think there will be many gunboats as there were IJP DDs. gunboats requires more skill to play compare to IJP line. IJP line was really easy to play before the patch gun boats are not. radar is fine no need to extend it more. well actually there is noo need for secondary buf eighter but it doesnt make so much sence because cas with the same guns like yamatos or montanas secondaries can fire more than 15 km but secondaries cant come even close to it. dont get me wrong there is absolutely no need for a secondary buff. -

number of them. people were complaining about getting too many of them in a team not about the ship itself. but for me it became better anyways. so long range torp spammers just left. good players just continue to play it. it worked just like wg wanted it to work. for the first time wg did something right. -

as far as i know IJP DDs got a buff for that alone. zao was also nerfed. there is no need to go further back. Increase at the number of DDs started after those torpedo buffs they got. before them, i dont remember that i got in a battle more than 3 DDs. anyways. wg had to do something for that DD problem. they didnt want the cap DDs so they found an other solution. Like flamu said, IJP DDs are still good and with the right play can get good results. there is nothing so dramatic to cry on forums. -

they are relevant. i would give you some more examples and explain the logic behind them but this forum isnt the place for it. since last 2-3 patches (before 5.5) IJP DDs were who was getting buffs while cas and bbs were getting nerfs. -
haha that post thou! what a bullsh*t... Eternus, i wouldnt even take this guy serious if i were you. oh and did you check his statts. he will be affected by your suggestion. because he has a tirpitz and as i see he is not good with it at all.

you keep saying "educate". who did educate the good players? they trained theirselfs. why cant the bad players, we have now. educate theirselfs until tier 8+? are they idiots to learn how to play?

buy a IJP BB and start playing. in a week you will reach to izumo. or wait for the next public test. but its pointless and funny to beg here for an account. and if you know the iowa, imagine it with a IJP flag, with a green cammo and put the 3th turrent in front of the ship. here you go its an izumo. now imagine your iowa has bigger guns and much better armour. and this time its a yamato.

we assume you use the car of course. once, twice or more doesnt matter. it happens and MM doesnt affect only the IJP DDs, it affects all lines. get in a battle with a DD where are 6 cas with radar, you feel the hell. get in a battle with a BB, where are 6 IJP DDs, you will also feel hell. -
funny whining. dont yolo, if you get too much fire get back and rapir the fire damage, use your repairs wise (dont repair only 2 k damage). on the other hand 10 fires are average, even below average. did you hear something called demo expert? im grinding the russian cruisers. im at shchors right now and i get 16+ fires in every battle.

look, you meassure things with limits.. you look the max capablity of something. for example you are going to buy an auto. the company stated that intercity fuel consumption is 6 liters. do you think that is the avarage? it is the min under right cicumstances. so it is the limit of fuel consumption. you can find many examples by yourself. so back to this game. you have a ship and you wonder what that ship can do. here you go under some circumstantes you can have such monster results with shimakaze. and its not only shimakaze, who needs specific circumstantes to get monster results. pretty much every ship needs specific situations. -

yes every ship can be that good under right circumstances. yamato shima zao every tier X... and those battles dont happend in flamus videos you can get them by yourself too. but i can see any other players whining here in forums exept shimakaze players. and its not only the shima who gets realy bad circumstances in a battle. first of all, if a cv decides to eliminate you from the game, it doesnt matter which ship you sail. radar cas, radar cas makes the life hard for dds but what you dont undrstand is, there are ships which make life harder for other classes. radar cas for dds, dds for bbs, bbs for cas. but dd players are crying here like they are the only one who has counters in this game. oh btw, do you think that in this froum whiners could play as close as flamu like in his video? im sure that some people would still try to torp that alone bbs from 9-10 km not tfrom 6,8 km. like flamu said its still a good ship but all you have to do now is showing skill. -

not overpowered, capable. if you get 120k damage with mikasa for example, it means mikasa is capable to deal that much damage in a battle. -

i love this. "cherry picking" always the same story. ".... that happens 1 time you are cherry picking..." look its simple. if a guy can get awesome results with that ship, it means that the ship has the potential. all you have to do is play it properly. there are many people who get crap results with tirpitz. does that make it a weak ship? so before you blame the ship itself, it would be much better and easier to try getting better with it. -

you are curious about good players? search "aerroon" and "flamu" with google. they both have youtube channel and watch their videos. they are 2 of the good players i know. Edit: you can also search "crysantos" he is also a good player. -

well it should be solved somehow and i think 5.5 is gonna help it. you can understand this by looking at how many people are whining about new tropedos. i got more than 4 DDs in a team but they werent all IJP DDs and its obvious that the IJP population went down with the new patch. There are still lack of cvs. play 9-10 you will get cv only in a battle out of 10. at least it happens to me. -

The numbers of IJP DDs increased after the buffs they got. more stealth and faster torpedos. major shimakaze grind started with more stealth torpedos. after some time, when the faster torpedo buff came out, there were already too many kageros-shimakazes. so your argument "one of the first introduced dd line" goes down. and it had to be fixed. 7 IJP dds in a team is just ridiculous. Nobody actually whined for a nerf to shimakaze. but many people asked for a cap to dds. but wg stated that they are not gonna put a second cap in the game. so they decided to eliminate below average and bad IJP players. and they did it perfectly by giving to good captains a buff and to bad ones a nerf. and since the new patch was introduced, i didnt see more than 3 IJP DDs in a team. so it looks like it worked just perfect. on the other hand i agree with you about balancing other classes too. 3 tier X bbs against 4 tier 9 bbs is just ridiculous. -
yes. its time for shima players to take some risks too.
