get a montana and yamato. get in training room and shoot to broadside of CAs at 10 km. and see the difference between 406mm and 460mm.

i think you have issues about understanding. shimakaze changes was not because WG thought that it was OP. they changed it because shimakaze play required no skill to play. long range, fast, stealth torp spam. some people played it only that way. staying at 12-15 km and spamming torps. it is not the right way to play it. so they changed it. and forget about yamato OP bias. Montana is as good as yamato even better now. since you are talking without any experience about that 2 ships, you are being funny.

use fighter setup. you will have air control. and USN cvs beat IJP ones at DBs. USN DBs do really big damage.

why is that? it helps skilled players and punishes unskilled ones. so you basicly want to remove that skill based feature. its non-sence. there must be more features not less. because with them players can show skill.

if you get in a bow to bow fight in a montana against yamato, you will probably lose. (unless the yamato player is a retard.) so this is one thing that you shouldnt do with a montana. and did you know that you can citadel a yamato frontally even with an iowa?

nope they are perfectly balanced right now. both have advantages and disadvantages. and how can you be so certain? did you play them? did you get 200k average damage with yamato while getting 100k with montana?

they are balanced right now. of course yamato must have some advantages at penning other ships. she has the biggest guns. and it is balanced with one less turrent than montana and yamato gets much more overpens than montana. both have advantages and disadvantages. and my friend, montana can also pen a yamato frontally. i remember hitting yamatos with montana 30-35k from front. so it doesnt mean its impossible just because you cant do it.

in which aspects is it OP? have you ever played it? if not, how can you be so sure that its OP? since wg changed something with overpens and with the montana buff, montana feels much stronger than yamato. and about shima. wg changed it because it didnt require any skill before the changes. fast, stealth and long range torpedos. wg stuff mentioned that in Q&A sections. shima is still fine for people, who know how to play it. btw. i see your pain. as i see shima is your only tier X. i suggest you to try getting used to new shima gameplay.

like i said, there is a pssibility for montana to hit hard that yamato. but of course yamato has better chance due to bigger guns. i dont think its gonna change. bigger guns hit harder.

the day before i saw a fail div, karlsruhe (tier4) in a div with tier 8 ship. of course they are reported but funny part is, karlsruhe had much better score than his division mate.

thats a lie. other bbs dont just bounce. yamato can pen any ship easier because of bigger guns. but iowa and montana can citadel other bbs frontally, they can even pen(citadel) yamato frontally. dont give wrong informations here. and its really funny to see "yamato OP" threads after a montana buff. she is much better imo.

another dd player whine... if a bb hits your dd from 16 km, there is only one reason for that. you are doing something really wrong. you should be spotted him to shoot you. his shells travel that distance nearly in 10 secs. so to be hit by a bb at that distance you need to sail min 10 sec on the same line after getting spotted. and sailing on the same line with a dd after being spotted makes no sence at all.

at least buff the BB AAs. yamato is really weak against planes. even montana cant defend itself.

and dont forget the hindenburg. every single CV can attack to it without any problem. AA needs a huge buff.

seriously, there are too many players playing tier X ships and still dont have any idea what to do. just had a [edited] shimakaze player (i wish i could name him here). he had more than 4k battles, of course with crap wr and average damage. he went all the way down to 10 line and chased the cv and didnt do sh*t. it was a domination, he didnt cap or he didnt spot. he just sailed. another game a kagero. stayed behind the bbs all the time and just spammed torps. again didnt cap, didnt spot, didnt engage enemy dds, useless. another game. we had no dds. the most stealth ship we had were two zaos. and enemy had only one udaloi as dd. so our zaos had to spot basicly at least their BBs. but nope. they chosed to stay almost at the border and sailed to right and left then again to right again to left. after the dds was spotted i was the only one who was trying to shoot the dd with my bb. what were those two zaos doing? trying to snipe bbs all the time. WG must introduce clan battles as soon as possible or they should make the team battles available. or the game is just gonna die because of those useless piece of [edited]s.

i get what you are saying. but its general at top tiers not only in my team. i also report those kind of people in enemy team. so im not whining here like you said. there are too many guides and videos which explains what to do in certain situations. but people are just idiot. we all learned from 0 in this game. we played, watched videos, read guides and we learned. but after 3k+ battles if someone cant do anything, it shows only that he is a retard nothing more. thats why i supported an idea of a mate of mine which was creating 2 sections even in random battles. and i think it can be done by choosing them according to multiple stats not only WR. like hit ratio, average dame with the ship that he wants to play... ranked battles are also full of [edited]. team battles re limited and i can be online always at those times. it should be all day long and its time for clan battles now. there are enough people.

over 120 battles with hipper and roon. after i saw this thread i wondered if they nerfed it or not. and i saw no difference in that one battle i did yesterday, i meant that you clever d*ck.
