If i would get Flint range torps I would be happy. Faster reload, don't think it needs that. Already 4.5s with skills. But torp range i would take, maybe slight decrease in detectability.

Smoke is better that radar. Also flint torps are much better. So think they would do better with Flint that Atlanta. ;)

How you think T8 DD outgun Atlanta? :/ That's not possible. Atlanta outguns all DD's at T8 for sure. It has more guns, much more guns. If you don't able to hit above 7km or even 5km, maybe that's why you think it. Atlanta firing arc needs to get to be used to. Not easy as other ships. Yes if you come 1v1 Atlanta vs Tirpitz you should win yes. But smart Atlanta player will not engage you 1v1 if Atlanta can't hide behind island or your turrets are turned away. He will engage you with his team mates, for example other BB's and then you need to decide if you fire on Atlanta or other BB I think your disappointment of the Atlanta comes from the ship not suiting your playstyle. So maybe it's not suited for you, maybe the tirpitz is much better for you. Not all ships are for everyone. For example i don't like to play BB myself

No it's not obsolete. Yes it's harder to play that others T7 CA, but it's a good ship. Torp range could be higher, that would help. As for your saying you don't encounter CV, then team up in division with CV. Also i had fair share of games were there were CV's and AA is really nice on it. Also you say DD"s accept and go for you. You should be able to delete the DD much faster that he does significant damage to you, just don't sail in a straight line to get torped I thought about if to get or not Atlanta for a long time. Read about it. And still decided i like the unique style of it and got it my self. What i can say? I don't regret getting it. I like the game play of it.

Don't agree on discount for winning team. If you want discount, it should be for High tier repair in general, not winning team.

Though long about getting the Atlanta. Hear a lot of bad, some good. As i have the Atago already and wanted a fun ship, with increadible RoF and unique. And i like the look of it. I got it and i can tell, yes you need to play it more different that other cruisers. But it's a lot of fun. Still learning how to play it properly, but for now i got around 200K-250K avarage credit profit after all repairs. Had games with 600K, 500K, had 150K, 200K ;) I think it's really nice ship and plays unique. If you expose your self, your easy destroyed. PS. I never shot down so many planes till i got Atlanta
