Its a two second reload nerf, considering the tier swap that made no change to any soft stats, its long overdue. At least Myokos guns won't outperform very subsequent IJN CA until Zao.

Thats dispersion at max range. and extra 20m of dispersion for almost an extra 4-6km of range. Scale that linearly, at NY's max range, Kongo's would be quite in the 170s

This is functionally a DD only /IJN CA Nerf. Most CAs and BBs carry more than enough ammo for 20 minutes of combat. If you load historical magazine sizes, CAs and BBs still won't run out of ammo while DDs will.

Merged with hull upgrades. Case in point, Kongo gets better turret traverse and gun reload (marginally) with her B hull.

Hiei , being sunk in 42 had light enough AAA for T5. Either way, I don't mind having Hiei as the model for the modernized Kongo class. I much prefer the pagoda on the Hiei.

Tirpitz being the tree nameship would make no sense,its not the Tirpitz class. Even if it was the stock hull will still have to be modeled on Bismarck with remodels based off of whatever upgrades Tirpitz received.

Would prefer the Colorado get the WeeVee as the final hull. Pitting the NorCal against the Nagato......seems unfair.

Its been theorized on the NA forums that the lack of AA mounts on the Nagato's turrets was because of the same technical difficulties that WG had with mounting US turret top catapults/scoutbplanes for the NY. And I doubt any of the ships will get a historical AA config. Its one of the reasons WG went to the A,B, C hull names. The most egregious example being Iowa's and NCs quad Bofors being replaced with dual Bofors. Or replacing the 25mm weapons on Kongo to 13mm mounts.

I thought they removed the year from the hull names. Its "Colorado" A, B, C ; Kongo A, B etc.

Strange, from the sources I've read, the first tallboy overpenned and exploded on the Fjord. 1. 2. After which, she was unseaworthy from the flooding and pretty much mission killed from the damage to the unprotected fire control. Good as sunk if she was no longer a threat.

You sure about that? I seem to recall an account of a Tallboy going right through her heck and out the bottom, exploding against the floor of the fjord. The earlier attack was a near miss. When Tirpitz was actually hit, it was over, he didn't outlast the hour and the attack had begun around 9:35.

The Brits actually bothered to stay within the as built 35k displacement limit. For 50k tons like the Bismarck, you could've gotten way more for the tonnage if built on a more modern armor scheme and I'm also pretty sure the Nelson class was allowed 16 in guns under the WNT so to accuse the Brits of violating arms limitations is pretty kek.

Not that hard to make a "better" ship when you have that much extra displacement to work with. The Bismarck is about 50.000 tons fully loaded, not even the NC class displaces that much. And what did the Bismarck get for the extra tonnage? A little bit of extra speed, and a inefficient armor scheme that tried to cover everything but ultimately left several critical ship functions under-protected. Allied designers learned to do more with less, its obvious that the Germans could've learned from such experience (if it had been an option).

Maybe this next big patch. At the latest, end of August is my guess.

Was under the impression he was saying that because Nagato and some USN BBs lack theirs (on the USN BBs like the NY, turret mounted scout plane is missing also I believe). Back on the NA forums, we speculated it was because of some technical issue that they can't implement working objects on top of moving turret. Hopefully, now that it seems the Tirpitz doesn't have this problem, they'll fix Nagato and the USN BBs.

Man, this thread needs to be crossposted on /r/shitwehraboossay.... the delusions are real...
