Hi there I have been playing the Beta for a while now and although I enjoy the game I believe some stuff still needs work.
Tech Tree:
For one the transition between the Phoenix T4 CA and the Omaha T5 CA is almost unnoticeable as they are practically the same ship. A suggestion would be to put the Omaha at T4 and perhaps the Brooklyn class at T5.
Swap the Cleveland and Pensacola.
Ship Related Issues:
The Albany is practically useless.
The T3 St Louis is impossible to penetrate with anything other than a BB, perhaps that requires fixed.
The Albany doesn't have torpedoes like it did.
Several of the gun upgrades are basically useless.
Also Premium Ships and doubloons or very overpriced.
XP System:
When I first tried the game I got to T3 in about 7 games which was great but once you get to T5 is when you find yourself actually grinding real hard to get a ship which is in most cases slightly better. While grinding the game gets very repetitive as there is very little you can do to a ship to make it feel different. From T4 to T5 is about 20k XP and then T5 to T6 is about 40k XP, how about instead of having to grind 40k you only have to grind 20k as you've already done 20k to get to T5, you get what I mean, or you could just increase the XP per game.
New Features:
Being able to choose the caliber of guns on your ship, for instance I could put 155MM guns on an Atlanta at the expense of its monstrous fire rate, obviously this would have it's limits so you couldn't put 14'' guns on your DD
Perhaps the option to remove Secondary Mounts for AA (Or Vice Versa) or buy additional AA or Secondary Mounts.
The actual ability to you yourself, paint your ship.
Being able to sacrifice armor for speed or vice versa.
To be honest I could think of lots of new features but that's just ones that I feel could be implemented realistically.
Carrier Escorts:
This ones ambitious but in actual Naval Warfare the carrier is essentially a capital ship yet it isn't treated like one. Of course no one wants to sit at the back of the map beside the carrier, that's why I thought you could add AI controlled carrier escorts that would only be able to be within say 4KM of the CV and would act as like a secondary armament in the sense that you could CTRL+CLICK on the target and they would fire. Obviously many players would be unhappy with this but it is merely a suggestion as CV's are guarded very unrealistically.
