Maybe PT is over? Not very sure when it ends this time around. Great, its a communist hamster uprising now. They will create a server room where everyone is equal. -

Someone quickly put an end to the Great Hamster Revolt of 2017 and send them back to their wheels. -
Replay from Ichase's channel but don't worry it's not him playing so its safe. This game got me thinking, could they have won the game if the CV had helped the Yamatos out? The CV player is very good, but his focus in this game was dealing damage as well as sinking ships. Fighters were not scouting or at least placed in areas where they could have provided vision passively. Reminds me of a fellow CV player who was reported for not supporting his teammate. He killed off the enemy DD that was at C right at the start, but left his fighters there. Meanwhile the enemy CV, which was a potato AS Haku if I remembered correctly, was focusing on A. Enemy had 2 remaining DDs. Teammate pinged him to scout but he didn't. Even after both the remaining enemy DDs were spotted at A, he did not move his fighters over to scout. They were both at C doing nothing. According to him, he was spotting for his other teammates around C, but the only enemies there were BBs which could be detected from pretty far away. I think personally the way the fighters were used in both situations do not contribute towards any team play at all. I know it's hindsight and no doubt both played well but I can't help but wonder if they could do more for the team.

Lol I have a feeling more potato Taiho players may go for the 3/2/2 after the US CV change because they won't be able to handle the new 2/1/2 Essex if it goes through.

Kaga is good at destroying ships but in a 1v1 scenario a Saipan will win because it has better air control ability capability, which would in turn restrict the ability of a Kaga player greatly. Saipan's TB, while only 3, reloads pretty fast and can fly very fast (cause they're tier 9 planes). Its more demanding and less potato friendly, but it'll be a good trainer for manual drop I guess since you're forced to be more precise.

Be specific, which video and at what time stamp. I turned on captions and no where does it say that rank battles are once a week. Watched the videos a couple of times now and still have not seen it say rank battles are once a week. Perhaps you can show us exactly where instead of just saying its a minute in and we have to listen carefully.

Anyone that lands a good salvo on him is probably using aimbot

Which video and where specifically does it say RBs are once a week. I watched the Rank Battle video and the only thing I see regarding the timing of rank battle is that its seasonal.

Plays 3/0/2 Essex, hates either CV or CV players, knows how to strafe but that's it. Should burn in hell.

Wrong guy mate, its the cyclone groundhog:

Win games, shoot down alot of planes and do alot of damage. Dumping my 1000 pd HE bombs on enemy ships and watch their hp drop or burn uncontrollably is very satisfying for some unknown reasons.

Which forum members have you seen in random battles?

You should have restrained yourself more and let me have a Kraken as well -
Well it'll make CV gameplay more complicated as it is already, that's for sure.

Yeah I understand where you're coming from but some people never see it that way. From your perspective it'll help with team play but for some other people who are really against CV, the kind that wants them to be totally removed from the game, they'll just say that its another unnecessary buff to CVs and making life in their preferred class of ship difficult. There are people out there who complain about being spotted all the time in their DDs by CV planes but they don't consider it from the perspective of the CV player on how CV spotting isn't actually 100% all the time as the CV player has other stuff to do as well, like striking ships or provide AA and other factors. And yes I understand its just suggestions. Just considering the feasibility of it that's all. The lower tier a CV is the lesser reserves it has. For example a Bogue has about 7 replacement planes for each of its 2 squadrons in the 1/1/0 configuration while a Hiryu has about 2 sets of replacement for each of its 6 squadrons.

USN CVs with the rework only has 2 DBs max instead of the previous 3 DBs, so they don't get a +1 bomber. In fact if you consider TBs, they have a -1 bomber until the Midway, which is the only USN CV with the same 2/2/2 loadout as Enterprise.
-
Thank you. To be honest its a buff for USN CVs. Only thing now I want removed from IJN CVs are their AS loadout.

Tbh it really boils down to how you play your CV that affects other player's view on it, as with every other class. A CV player is no different from any other player class nor actually separated from them. I think someone has mentioned it before but it's no different from a DD not capping/scouting or a CA/BB that are camping the entire game and not playing the objective, objective being the key word here. There are people who play CVs as a a damage dealer or play it to shoot down the enemy CV planes, but that's not how you actually win. Sure it may contribute to you winning if you do enough damage or shoot down all the enemy CV planes but you will not necessary win. So playing to benefit your team would be the best way to win games. For example, I played strike Lexi which does not have a fighter. However I make up for it in other ways. I use my TBs to scout at the start of the game and if I spot enemy DDs I'll try and sink them. That benefits my team because it either delay or deprives the enemy team of a cap/scout at the start. So while I am unable to provide air cover for my team, in return I try to nudge the win to us but ultimately it still depends on the team. I mean I can kill all the enemy DDs in a domination game but if my team decides to camp in in spawn or behind it then we'll still lose despite my best efforts. Just fyi that time you see there applies to all tier so it doesn't matter if you're in a Langley or a Midway the time penalty is the same. The only difference made depends on the amount of planes per squadron. Take a USN fighter squad an and IJN fighter squad. One has 7 planes while the other 5 respectively. So for example, a USN fighter squad may take 40s to rearm but an IJN squad will take 30s. Single spotters is an interesting idea although you'll see an angry legion of DD players popping up as well as the anti-CV patron saint ranting about how unbalanced CVs are when he has never considered rearming time as a factor of balance. Nerfing alpha damage is something I think most CV players won't mind, although it has to be balanced against the current AA environment which alot of CV players find difficult. Plus with regards to adding planes/rearm time all that you have to consider that most CVs have a limited hanger space. The Midway you see in the picture is the CV with the most replacement planes, but other CVs have way lesser replacement planes and again that is a balance factor for CV. CVs have flexibility in attacking but are limited by time and the amount of plane reserves they have.
-
Well its a good balance I guess.
-
Pfft I raise it to 52, using 1 fighter squadron only and being the lowest tier CV in that game

I can get off 5 to 6 if I didn't screw up my angle of approach. The first time I was attacking the Conqueror I came in at a good angle and got off with 5 to 6 torps. 2nd time was a bad angle, so I manage to drop 2 to 3 torps while making adjustments.

Given how Europe is like now i really doubt so. Nationalism is somewhat on the the rise again and with so many countries on the continent there is bound to be alot of butt-hurt people compared to China. -
2 to 3 torps. Can get about 5 to 6 if the guy does not take evasive action and you didnt [edited] up your angle of apporach.

You do know there are other sections that exist on this forum apart from this gameplay section right? Like the public test section? https://forum.worldofwarships.eu/topic/91644-chung-mu/ But to answer your question the missions are not out yet as there seem to be some problem and its probably on the test server and not live server.
