North/ Northern light, domination mode. Friendly Hindenburg, an Iowa with a Bismark division and another Bismark goes to D and camps there while friendly Conqueror sails behind the spawn. Enemy steamrolls through A and B and flanks team. Makes tears of the desert look tame in my opinion. Whoever put that d point on North/ Northern light should be sent to the salt mines.

I feel you. Although there was once where I got raged (don't think I was reported) at by an enemy Atlanta for torping him in Saipan instead of some other targets. In my defense I barely lost any planes doing so for some odd reason .

Was in Haku up against a famous super unicrum AAO CV player in Midway. Told the team I'll try my best but no bets. Friendly Mino in a 3 man division with Shima and Zao offered his AA and help. Won game thanks to his AA and division, complemented him and his div and got division complimented back. In Haku against enemy Yugemo. Only enemy DD. Asked him if he feels lucky today. He said yes. Then potatoed a 3 way auto cross drop on him. Told him to go buy the lottery after that. Subsequently killed him and told him he was getting too close to me. Got complimented for in his own words "being a good sport".

What about 2 Brothers? Starts off announcing suicide, baits friendly dirptz in. Silly Dirptz pushes by himself while they purposely ground themselves and stays there. Dirptz asks for help but of course they won't 7 mins in still there, waiting, waiting................... 11 mins in, finally decides to go through to the enemy base And gets one shot by enemy Alabama While the other follow shortly after edit: name in picture

True. It's just that for me those 1000 pd USN HE bombs are more important I guess. IJN ones are just kinda meh. Not saying they can't do anything, but after playing around with the 1000 pd bombs, all other bombs are meh to me.

Playing CV does not mean you get reported all the time. Just play for your team, support them and there are people out there who will appreciate your effort.

Taiho I free xped the 2/3/2 mod as well as fighter and TB upgrade. Didn't upgrade DB at all. Haku I got the fighter and Tb upgrade as well but I'll grind the rest. I guess it depends on what you want to do to be honest. With IJN CVs I'm not very concerned with the DB at all so I usually fine with them being stock as compared to the fighters or TB or mod. With USN CVs previously, I got the fighter and DB upgrade but not the TB since the DBs are more important to me for USN.

Fighter. Don't think I've ever taken the reload mod since I feel the same as you, it makes very little difference. Better fighters would be better since you'll have better air control.

Haku's still not that bad given the fact that you can stack your planes to ensure their survivability but mid-tier CVs (tier 6 to 8) suffer greatly from it I feel. Perhaps WG wants you to spend free xp to unlock them.

I have a dislike for the Hipper due to it's poor reload and somewhat weak HE. Then I just played the Hipper with AP, unless I'm shooting at a DD. Targets may be angled but you can aim for the superstructure and try shooting HE then if you keep on bouncing or don't pen. It helped with my damage compared to pretending that the Hipper is a HE cruiser.

Hence it is very team reliant on winning. You can spot all you want but if your team camps in spawn in a domination game it's useless. The only way to do damage is via that DB squad. But if you noticed in the picture earlier, that DB squad has even lesser plane reserves and takes a long time to rearm. So while good at dealing high alpha strikes provided you hit your target, its practical use in dealing damage is less then desirable. Like you pointed out it can't even do dot unless you observe and pick a target that has used damage control. -

False statement. I won against a Ranger in my AS Saipan earlier. For the last time people, going up against AS does not mean a guaranteed win. Its a false generalization that all AS players are bad when the only difference it makes is that the AS player has a lesser chance of winning overall base on their ability to influence the match, which is separate from the skill of the AS CV player to exert air control/ dominance. -

Same for me, sniping takes up too much time that could be used to do other stuff but if the enemy presents me an opportunity I'll take it. Had a Taiho that pushed too forward and got spotted on one of the smaller high tier maps, Haven. I was flying my bombers around and found him, did a bad drop and then continued spotting him while my teammates wrecked the guy. He called that a CV snipe but meh that's what you get for divisioning up with 2 Minos in a tier 9 CV so that they can complete plane shooting missions. -

A Ranger tried to snipe me just now when I was in 2/2/0. I only manage to get 1 fighter back in time to deal with the TB and he failed in his snipe. Lol I was stationary when his bombers were first spotted as well. Too risky I feel and a waste of time. -

AS has 17 planes in reserve, so 1 full resupply for each fighter squadron and then 5 more to wherever it's needed after. Normal has 16 fighter reserves. Ignoring skill level for a moment I'll just theorize and say that AS Saipan gives you the flexibility to cover the map but will punish you if you make mistake with the overall low reserves you get. Normal would seem to be the better overall option cause you have more reserves, but you can't cover the whole map. -

There is no contradiction in there being a non-potato AS player. Sure picking AS means that they're more likely to loose the game due to having less influence and being very team relient for the win but who cay say those players are guranteed bad at air control or air dominance? @OP I dunno if someone has mentioned it already but get into clickfights as much as possible and have the dogfighting expert skill. 1 v 1 you'll shread his fighter. If he groups his fighters together, strafe. If while in a clickfight he orders another fighter to gang up/strafe you, strafe out or strafe at the approaching fighter. Do not be afraid of sacrificing planes overall. Oh and strike all over the map or near friendly AA. Make him work for it. I know how you feel. Had to fight a 70+% winrate AS Saipan the other day in a Kaga. He deplaned me but we won so meh. Edit: I'll go play an AS Saipan game later and help you check the fighter reserves OP -
Well, I finally got my first tier 10 CV, after thousands of game And the next one will be soon PS: Holy crap are they expensive PSS: Now I have to deal with AS Hakus Shouldn't have bought this and sold my Taiho.

Give enough lead and you can hit any high tier BB, even at range. When you throw zillion of shells down range at something you're bound to hit

1) If you're short on credit I would say sell it. No point keeping it when the Neptune and Mino is much better. 2) People usually take the reload mod but I go with the range mod for both my Neptune previously and Mino now so that I have more chance to shoot at people. Personally its up to how you want to play it I guess. 3) I need to have a look at mine for the current skills i have but I think im planning to get AFT for my last 4 points. Remember to get the concealment module. Full concealment Mino is very entertaining. It can go into cap circles to cap or contest caps against enemy dds. The amount of lols. Just be careful though.

So who else is going dungeon raiding later? Heard WG introduced a new raid boss called the Musashi. Suitable only for hard core players though.
