Tbf I think its the BB's fault in this case. If you look, the that DD div got c already, but you have almost all the BBs at the back doing nothing but camp. If I'm in my BB and looking at the minimap, I'll push down between A & B to flank the enemy ships since they're concentrated at C but spread out at A and B. So my chances of survival is higher and I can try to create an opportunity. That Flamu did not do nor did any of those other BBs. They seem content being at the backline. As much as Flamu is a great player, sometimes he plays too safe. I remember a game where he (in Montana) and another clanmate (in a DM) ended up in a battle against Flambass (in Yueyang). Flamu's side had a numerical advantage as well as more BBs, but they didn't even bother pushing and similar to the game you posted they lost. So I dislike both. A DD that doesn't cap and ships that don't support when they can or take advantage of the situation. -
From a SC nope. From grinding missions yeah.

At first i kept on thinking it could be the other fighter but I realise now that my fighters would have spotted it. I guess it may be the bug @El2aZeR mentioned.

I thought I'll pop by to say hi and ask if you guys came across a bug where your fighters get shredded 1 by 1 by nothing? I had a game recently where i was sunk but before I died I tagged my fighter to an allied DD. Said fighter was flying around the DD and just melted. I can gurantee that there were no enemy ships around and im pretty sure there were no enemy fighters. Seem too fast for the fighter to run out of fuel though it may be it.

I got the rudder shift mod 2 and replaced the camo mod. So far I think im doing ok with it. Last 2 games in the ship i did over a 100k damage and survived longer so its a plus. The shells though. I was shooting at a NC that was bow camping at my max range. The shells went to the moon, planted a WG flag, re-enterred Earth's orbit before landing on that NC. Even when shooting at a Missouri and Bismark that was 12 km away from me I had to give a much longer lead then normal, way more then most other floaty shell ships I've played. Heck even Mino's shell land faster at max range.

See this is my problem. Why do people not cap when they can? Yueyang went to the rocks next to C at the start of the game, refused to cap. Then moved to the open area between A & B after the enemy shima is killed. Seriously is it that hard to cap? Must I now cap in my CA, BB or CV as well when I'm not playing my DDs? -

Good lord. Fletcher goes off to the old D on Northern Light despite me moving in with him towards the D cap. Then he pings capture D before dying in that forsaken corridor of the old "D" where he could not do anything useful. Fine I move towards C where a friendly shima was there. Friendly shima spend his entire game dropping torps and firing random shots into C/ beyond C. Even when im there sailing pass him. I get that there is a Moskeva there but if he went and hug the mountains to the left of C he could have contested the cap but not. Waited till he had no support before doing that. Indeed. What kind of self respecting DD player sails broadside to a BB, Russian or not. Just asking for a paddling

Hit an Udaloi going at full speed showing broadside with 2 consecutive AP salvos from at lest 12 km away and knocked out about 1/2~1/3 of its health so yeah Missouri is still fine.

I think one of the main issue I have with this shift in DD play is their total lack of ability to read the situation or sometimes even game play. Another example. I'm in my Cleveland in a tier 10 game on Haven, spawning below D. Friendly shima that spawned below D immediately said that he will not cap D and will instead scout (can't remember tbh), proceeding to the left immediately. I saw a friendly Z-23 heading to D, so I followed him as close as I can in case he needed radar and fire support. Z-23 capped the cap without any enemy contesting it. Meanwhile Shima has done jack except "scouting" but how much scouting can you do if the enemy refuses to push down and hide behind that huge rock above the D cap and therefore blocked from most return fire? Z-23 then went to try and cap C. So I basically have a tier 8 DD who can play better than a tier 10 one. Shima couldn't read the situation and don't know how to make use of support/ observing which ships are in position to support. Say on 2 Brothers I go to A and try capping but all my teammates on that flank just camp at the back but I see the guys over at D trying their best to push. I'll just bail A and go to D and help them instead. For me if I see my teammates trying their best to play the game then I'll reciprocate that. Even if we lose in the end at least we tried. But if my teammates just wanna play selfishly then so be it I can't be bothered. An observation I have when radaring DDs is that alot of them still smoke up for some reason when being radared. How much would it help? It doesn't even make a difference to me since I can still see them. If it was the reverse and I'm the DD being radared, I either a) find an island/rock if possible or b) if there are no island/rock nearby then run as far as possible and only if I'm still spotted after the radar end/ im out of range will I smoke up. Why waste a smoke charge on something futile? That could mean that alot of people still don't understand basic gameplay mechanics. -

I dont sail outside of radar range. If the cap has rocks/islands in them i hide behind them and hug it like my waifu. Doesnt matter if they radar me then, they still can't hit me. And if they try to position to hit me they expose themselves to fire from my friendly ships. -

I've been seeing alot of IJN DDs deliberately avoiding caps. What is worse is that in a few games even after they know that there are no enemy DDs in the cap they will still not cap. I had to cap in a Yamato once at the start of the game just so the enemy doesnt have such a huge lead. -

I like how ppl talk as though only the guns of the ship can change but not player skills. Maybe player skills are improving? Maybe you're meeting better players? Maybe its really pure RNG? So much more reasons lol. -

Cyclones imo encourages you to play more tactically and adjust you have to adjust yourself accordingly like what Hesp said. But I guess people like you always camp at the back to farm damage safetly while your teammates be your meatshield, so you wouldnt really understand anyway. Action is THERE but not for a camper like you. -

TBH i don't think I'll put it pass them to do such a thing given their track record of going overboard with the stuff they do. Edit: Not the devs but their NA com team.
