    Personally I finished grinding the haru and about 30+k short for wor. Im gonna get the Wor first though cause i prefer cruisers and kiti is doing fine even against tier 20 ships. On the otherhand, Seattle, while the grind is ok, leaves much to be desired.
  2. I prefer manual control in that scenario. I hit q or r and go aroud in circles, throwing off the DD's torp aim. Setting way point when an enemy DD is close by is honestly a waste of time that can be used trying trying to sink it.

    Very bad play. You pushed too aggressive at the start into the cap, even though there was 4 enemy ships in front of you , making yourself an easy target to focus on since most of your allied ships were behind you and/or behind islands. The same thing happened when you pushed out from behind the rock. After your friendly kagero died of course you'll become target number one. The stupid mistake you did was sitting there, letting yourself get shot in almost all directions. You should have learnt from that Republic that you wanted to brawl with and keep in moving. Lol. You literally sat broadside to another BB at about 5km and you think he can't do any damage to you? He shat on you cause you made yourself a sitting duck while he drove past you. You should have kept on moving and go through the gap at G2. You were lucky none of the enemy ships at F7 were shooting at you. Bow on my [edited]he was by you broadside when he fired that salvo. You can even see those 4 AP shells incoming. Sweet RNGesus. Don't do stupid stuff and blame it on the ship. All in all, it was an extremely bad play on your part.

    Well, we play the same ship, yet I don't have the same issues as you. If i die fast in kurfurst, that is me misplaying, not the ship's fault. Whether you wanna take my advice is up to you but sulking and being in denial just shows how bad a player you are in trying to improve yourself.

    No you just have to basically use your brains and observe the enemy movement and ship component. Every high tier BB is fast enough to reposition themselves accordingly. If you wait until the last minute to reposition yourself then you're just playing poorly, which is an issue with alot of players. They're unable to grasp the opportunities to push and just dilly dally camping even though there is only 1 or 2 enemy ships fighting back on one flank while the rest of the enemy team is lemming train in another.

    Learn to read the minimap, see where the enemies are concentrated and where they're not, where the various enemy ships are etc. Then play accordingly.

    Lol. An enemy DD player asked everyone to report me the other day for using abusive language. The funny thing was i never even said anything abusive or even sarcastic and his beef with me was because i landed shells on him after he went back into stealth, thus i was a "cheat and hacker". Needless to say i gave him a free report as well. Gotta spend those 11 reports.

    Lol, even in games where there are 0 CVs, people still camp. BBs stay at the back, DDs ignore cap points and head to the map border, everyone lemming train in 1 direction but camp instead of pushing. Well my gearing has fun with CVs.

    Why not though? It: a) doesn't last forever (more than your proposed 60s, but not remainder of the game); b) planes are still liable to be shot down by your AA or friendly AA; c) attack planes can still miss you and cannot rearm, so once they miss that's it for them; d) this isnt hello kitty online. One team wins and the other loses. If focusing and spotting you allows his team to win why not.

  11. Met @DJ_Die 2 days back in my z-23 It was an interesting game. Killed a Seattle that had about 1/3 health, 2.5 km away from me with hydro on . Also made a Musashi sue for peace. My team lost though

  13. I meant i agree on classes having/should have weakness. But as explained in the bit that you did not quote, CVs have an excessive weakness as of now, at least the way im looking at it. For example, idm doing less alpha damage, but less alpha damage+being extremely weak to AA negates the purpose of flexibility and only benefit non-CVs. On the other hand, less alpha damage+ being moderately weak to AA is balanced to both sides.
  14. To me, its just like getting hit by BB HE. The higher the caliber the more damage it does. Assuming Lexi and Midway are still using 1000pd HE bombs, are you telling me it should't be doing the damage it is meant to do? If that is the case should all damage numbers then be universal irregardless of shell/bomb caliber? That would be fair right.
  15. I agree on weakness. Your 2nd paragraph is wrong though. I guess thats how most ppl who don't play CVs perecive what CV players want. We dont need to do massive damage, just able to do reasonable damage, which is extremely difficult given the currwnt extreme AA environment WG has put in place, killing off planes even before they're able to drop. I was doing the Exeter mission last week with DoY. No AA mods and only BFT. The enemy Lexi kept on attacking me as i was sailing alone. Initially i was taking evasive manouvres but i gave up after realising my tier 7 BB AA melt his planes before he can do anything to me. I think it took 30+~40+ planes shot down by mr alone before he gave up attacking me
  16. I disagree. Rocket planes have already been nerfed to accomodate DDs. There is no need for more accomodation. A HE shell from a BB will do more damage to a DD than a CA HE shell. Should we nerf BB HE shell so that it does minimal damage to DDs since BBs arent meant to be DD counters? One other thing i don't get is why should a CV's ability to deal damage be nerfed just because some superunicrum consistently get 300000 damage? Not everyone is able to deal a large amount of damage (me ). More nerfs just makes it harder to play. Edit: I think alot of anti-CV players idea of a balanced CV is kinda flawed. They feel that a CV shouldnt be able to do that much damage against them. Yet no one complains about a BB vapourising a CA or a DD smacking a CA or BB with so much torps that they look like swiss cheese. Its like the pot calling the kettle black. "But but CVs can strike you from anywhere, so unfair." Well a DD can stealth torp you and a BB can still sink you from beyond 15km. Each class have their own unique feature and a CV's one is its flexibility. Might as well give every class the same gun range, health pool, armor, damage etc if you want absolute balance.

    My observation is, unless something a CV does serverly affect other classes, WG stance on the rework is that they will not patch it. They expect you to continue playing a class with multiple handicaps until they are presumeably happy with whatever results they get on their excel spread sheet. Even if its pain and misery for you its perfectly ok, just not for everyone else.
