Well I started off as a low 40+% winrate player as well and slowly improved my winrate over time (like 3,4 years?). If you are really improving then your winrate will slowly but surely improve overtime. Maybe it just needs more time that's all.

I have no rank at all but I am way stronger than you, who is at rank 6. So rank 1 does not necessary equal strong players.

I think about a month back i had a game with a stalingard that just surfed the south spawn border on 2 Brothers. He trottled his speed up and down and with half his body out of the map and half in the map moved left and right. Its not that my shells (Republic) weren't hitting him, but not enough were hitting him to sink him despite him using an exploit that was supposedly made easier to hit. Meanwhile he just had a field day with me. Maybe WG should also just deactivate guns in addition to slowing down yr speed and rudder to half power until you leave the border. At least people will be less salty about it and the people exploiting it can't use it defensively and offensively.

Don't think you can block command spam yet as far as i know. WG is still "looking" into it due to "technical difficulties" if ik not wrong.

I don't really understand. I mean if you're gonna insult, crap talk use vulgarities or in generally say stuff that will get you chatban, why should you be upset about it? It makes no sense when you call people snowflakes for reporting you, yet act like a snowflake and come onto the forum to complain about how people are snowflakes for reporting you. Personally if I ever get chat ban for something i said that is chat bannable then fair enough. If its unjustified or you feel that it is unjustified then just bring it up to WG customer service or something. Its not like forumites can get you unbanned. Although I would say maybe WG can be clearer on how the chatban system/chatban report works as I can't seem to find it in writing.

To me its circumstantial. In your case yeah that Big E is probably a very bad player (maybe) but it makes no sense in this case. You have OP, a guy in a tier 7 CA, posting a post battle result showing a Nurnberg and Anshan doing worse than him, both ships being one tier lower than him, with less armour and less health = lower survivability. Did anyone considered that? Or did you just bought OP's sensationalism of, "oh look i messed up and did nothing in my tier 7 CA but wow are players bad these days", because the same bad luck couldn't happen to that Nurnberg and Anshan. Yes it may just be a conjuncture at this point , but it is also a possibility. There is no replay, no one knows if they were also just unlucky or just plain bad. But people just go ahead and assume that yes, did worse than OP who did nothing equals bad player.

The nurnberg player is a newbie with barely a 100 games so yes, very nice and kind of you to shame him like that, just because he came in lower than you.

Tbh i feel that all these "i wanna opt out of CV games" topics all have either l2p or just plain selfish reasons. i read OP's post and all i get from it is "I wanna farm other ships without a CV spotting me and prevent from farming". I almost don't even play CVs anymore after the rework cause i prefer the rts and im crap with the rework style but I don't think i have any issues playing against a CV ever lol, be it then and now.

I have some vague recollection of WG changing the report system so that when a division reports you, it only equals to 1 report overall. I'll try and find it.

Aye. That's why Conq is a mega zao (and by extension the Lion), you shoot your HE shells, disappear. IMO even if you are focused on, with yr stealth and heal plus positioning its entirely possible to hold off the enemy by yourself.

Maybe the system only take into account the games you were reported in. So no one reported you in that game where you were cursing but someone did in the "stop camping" one.

Lion has way better stealth and heal than FDG. If you play it right, its a pretty strong zombie ship just like the conq.

If OP truly wanted to support that Jervis, he should have stayed in the middle point and provide support fire from there instead of wasting time going to his left flank and the doubling back to the middle. Before he committed going to the left, he knew that there was only a DD and Alaska at B. If it was me I would stayed there instead of continuing left. So no, he wasn't really supporting the Jervis. Another issue I feel is that OP didn't make full use of his rudder. He could have dodged the 2nd set of torps from the 1st launch but failed to do so and ate an extra torp. After dodging that 2nd set he should have just floored it forward as well and charge straight into the smoke since he was committed already. Reversing would only make him a sitting duck and still be torped to death by the fletcher when it comes out from the smoke since a) you are slower reversing than going forward and b) imo rudder shift is slower/worse/weird when reversing. If he doesn't want to rush in then he should go full speed but hard right and disengage. Eh yeah it was a joke. Or more specifically a game trivia. Hahahaha. But to answer your question yeah it should be damage reflection. You can't really commit suicide in game unless in truly exceptional circumstances involving your own torpedoes as a DD.

I rushed a smoked lighting the other day with a baltimore providing him some fire support. All his torps missed, despite him being under 5km from me. I think i blapped about 1/2 or 2/3 health with AP (before he smoked). Then i let my secondaries finish the lighting while i turn my main batteries on the baltimore. They both died. Got CQE on the lighting while friendly finished off the balti. This was also at the start of the game. So yes, i would say its a l2p issue. If you gonna rush do it smart
