I dunno but I feel that this is just your excuse in justifying what is essentially a BB buff. WG nerfed the fire duration on DDs and cruisers to 30s. Coupled with better rudder shift and being harder to hit by "HE Spammers", your proposal is inconsequential towards the survivability of a DD and cruiser. I mean if you look at your own proposal, not only does it buff BBs defensively, it buffs them damage wise as well. Cause now BBs benefit from being able to not only deal higher fire chance per shot cause of their caliber, but benefit from reaping full DOT. You said that a cruiser should switch to AP, but if the cruiser's AP can't pen or bounce then what? Continue the futile attempt of shooting AP while letting the BB blap you in 1 salvo? The proposal is clearly just a one-sided buff dressed up to look better for DDs and cruisers when it actually is not. I mean come on, you really expect us to believe that it is for the benefit DDs and cruisers?
