Accuracy is the main issue. Last night I took on a Seattle with my secondaries while hitting a Zao with main and he got way more hits and damage on me than I on him. As someone above said, secondaries on BBs are not modelled historically or a lot more DDs and CA would die

Exeter is a very powerful ship in the right hands. Unfortunately I f*uk up with it too often and get deleted. But when I get it right it is so satisfying citadelling other cruisers, even much higher tier ones.

Kremlin kills planes before they even get to short range AA. T8 carriers like Lexi and Shok can get hits on Montana, they can’t on Kremlin or Slava. Kaga is hopeless with T7 planes.

Yup. On Kremlin you can get one strike if you use your boost to go in really quickly Absolutely ridiculous on Slava. You don't get within a few Km

The rockets are crap, especially if you are used to using TiTi on Lexi but the carpet bombs can be good for starting fires.

My tuppence on Implacable is yes, upgrade the TBs as a minimum and also take the torpedo bombers mod 2. Take survivability and torpedo acceleration in captain skill. On Audacious I despair. Doesn’t really seem much of an upgrade on the T8

How are you speccing to get IFHE in 18 points?

I am at the New Mexico and actually quite enjoying it but I have been told Colorado is quite a step up. I have Massachusetts as well but don’t actually play it that much in the new meta - it is so rare you get into good secondary range. My favourite BBs at the moment are Gneisenau and Lyon as they play like big cruisers.

At least with Des Moines (and Minotaur) you do have some chance of kicking out some of their AA with rockets even of yiu have to sacrifice several waves of them.

Nelson is very awkward not so much for its rudder shift and turning circle but it’s length and how long it takes to slow. Very easy target for torpedo bombers as is Masushi and the two German top tiers.

Doesn't help with Kremlin or Slava. You never get near enough to drop them.
