I’ve just switched back from HVAR to TT. Definitely much more effective against cruisers (On Lexi)

Only really string when fully upgraded (or at least Kaga is and that’s the only one I have) and normal T8’s struggle when uptiered without upgrades

I would agree Minotaur and the US T10 cruisers are two strong, particularly as yiu usually get 3 or 4 but JB is easy - bomb or TT him from the front. If an6 BB is OP it looks like being the Russian, the T8 is bad enough.

I got that today. First time I’ve played my Tirpitz in ages aand I got a very lucky double citadel and two other pens on an Ibuki at extreme range. Devastating strike. So sore driver claims hax and has his division mates (CV and DD) focus and kill me.

I’ve got the V and VI from boxes and they are ....meh. Don’t feel any inkling to level to the next ones.

Not me but another player one my team was reported by a guy who also said in open chat for everybody else including enemy to report him. His crime? Hiding his Alaska behind an island on the opposite side to where the complainer was with most of the team taking on 2/3 of the enemy. What the loudmouth failed to understand was that the other third of the enemy was three BB’s and a CA. His hiding firing HE at this lot distracted them enough for me to put 24 torpedoes into them sinking a Fat Freddie and severely damaging the rest.

You're making a mistake if you stick with HE on Lion and Conq. Their AP is awesome against BBs. Obviously the fire chance is great against angled BBs and the fact you can citadel many cruisers with HE is fun but use AP in the right places. Same with Nelson KGV is much more situational but AP on broadside cruisers kills

I have thought for a long time that WG should disable the chat macro system. The tiny number of times it is useful are vast outweighed by the idiots who just spam nonsense on it. Then you get the barrage of abusive comments which, as I am playing carriers a fair bit at the moment, is pretty toxic. I particularly hate the ‘get cancer’ comments as my father died from cancer a couple of years back. So I just ignore chat completely. WG should have an option to switch off the auto generated messages and to block messages from specific players.

Yup. That’s the usual one. Not giving a DD fighter cover because you are at the side of the map where you can actually get at a BB or two rather than flying straight into the Minotaur/Henri/Worcester that’s on his side. That and not having your planes circling over the enemy DDs even though they are smoked up.
