Thats one of the problems with the current game, especially if you are a T8 up-tiered. If you want to get a reasonable amount of credits , you are wasting your time throwing planes away trying to attack DDs and CL/CA. Much easer to find a big fat Musashi or similar and go backwards and forwards dropping torps into him. The exception being Kremlin (and it’s even worse clone Slava) which has stupidly OP AA.

I rarely play T10 as I’m not very good and cant afford to be going backwards at up to 100k per game. I have Conq and Minto in unupgraded form. Conq has a low level captain, Mino has Bert Dunkirk. My comfort zone is around T7. Exception is carriers where I play a lot of T8. I have Audacious but again not upgraded so it struggles.

Some crazy OP ships around. The T10 Russian B is silly - ridiculous AA so CVs cant get near it to torpedo, so heavily armoured it hardly takes damage at range and close up it blow anything out of the water. And I met the alternative T10 Slava in a game tonight an its seems to be even worse sank my carrier in two slavos from full width of the map. Again I couldn't get near to torpedo or bomb it beforehand. Lastly, the new French Super CA - Colbert. Thankfully on our team - reduced a FdG to a burning wreck in no time - just a constant steam of fire And CVs - you're either being moaned at for being OP if you're top tiered or sending out squadrons to get shredded if you're bottom tier. The game has lost balance and isn't fun any more.

I just encountered one of these in game. An enemy plate spotted my Lexington and the Slav destroyed me in two volleys from the other side of the map, first one took off 3/4 of my health. Depressing.

T8 CVs already struggle with T10 cruisers. This makes it worse.

Credits. The crates in the first phase were garbage.

Neptune found its niche with the CV update. Its AA is fearsome.
