I think there is scope to add more realism to the destruction of ships. 1. If a ship floods and subsequently sinks, it shouldn't explode. It should simply... sink. 2. If a magazine is hit, giving the player a detonation medal, the ship should explode hugely. There should be a massive, Hood, Barham, or Mutsu style explosion. There have been really good looking explosions like that in much less advanced engines. (See the magazine explosions in Napoleon Total War as an example) 3. A lot of the time, as a ship sank, more of the hull emerged vertically from the water as she went down. The most we ever see in this is the stub of the stern or bow. 4. If a ship is destroyed close to land, the wreck should settle on the seabed and be visible, possibly partially above water if the water was shallow enough. (This would not be out of line with other WG titles. Destroyed tanks don't vanish in WOT. ) 5. Not sure how doable this is, but when I am spectating, I would quite like to be able to see the wrecks on the seabed as well.

I didn't say anything about Russian cruisers and destroyers. My points were all about their lack of ships in the other classes.

Hey, you're ONLY Italian? That's something to be proud about, don't do yourself down I would love to see battles in rough sea. I would be really interested to see how reduced visibility or huge waves or even night battles played.

I don't see the Bismark as a premium ship. I mean, we got the Yamato in the regular tree, and she was equally famous (for different reasons of course) I see the Hood as a premium ship though

Ok, I know why WG wants to do Russia. This was explained a while back and makes good business sense. I just don't know HOW WG are going to do Russia. How the hell are they going to fill a tech tree with Russian ships? They didn't have any carriers. They had ancient, decrepit battleships which took no part in the war. They were loaned an old British Revenge Class (HMS Royal Sovereign) which was never modernized after world war 1 (while in Soviet service, she was apparently not maintained, as she was in such poor condition upon her return that she had to be sold for scrap) Finally they were given an Italian battleship at the end of the war. (Again, an old one, with pathetic 12 inch guns) So the most modern battleship the Russians ever had was launched in 1915. The Germans had a fleet, but only one aircraft carrier (a very early one). They had plans for more, so I guess WG will just give us a series of paper carriers. The Royal Navy had everything, in every class and tier. There probably isn't a need for a paper ship in any slot. The Russians, from a business standpoint, have been explained. I do not understand putting the Germans in before the Royal Navy though.
