Meanwhile, no one actually complained about facing 1 shima. The issue is having 3-4 Shimas, 1 Gearing and 1 Kagero in the same team. There really was no need to change any specific ships.

If WG could come up with whole imaginary classes of ships, I don't see why they wouldn't be able to put the Admiral-class BC in game, AKA the Hood.

Doesn't it have to do with the fact that T10 BBs are usually much less aggressive vs 2-3 shimas? I mean, you don't see anyone complaining about the insane damage these walls cause. It's the fact that it intimidates whole teams and makes the game a slug-fest. Again, only in situations with a lot of torp ships on one side.

Met Kurbain in battle today, then got into a division with him. Really fun games On another note, I had 100% surival rate today after 8 battles. This must be some kind of record for me. -

I saw Vanhal today, and realised it a bit too late . I was in budyonny and he was in tirpitz, same team. Actually rammed into him at one moment. Needless to say, we won. Then I met viceadmiral123 and my team promptly got stomped... -
I'm just saying, maybe you should try to tweak your BB playstyle a bit. I did pretty bad when I got my first T9 BB, the Iowa, but I did better with Izumo because I had more experience by then. Haven't been playing BBs a lot lately as I'm grinding some cruisers, but try to find a balance between pushing too much (without support) and knowing when to stay back a bit.

It looks like to me you are underperforming in all of your battleships. You're better in destroyers and cruisers. Most certainly not the ship's fault.

Just ridiculous. The trailer consists more of officers/whatever and flags than of actual ships.

Not sure about tier 10 cruisers yet, as I just got the ibuki, but for I do have the gearing. I can sometimes win the game and earn 250-300k with prem consumables. It's not always the case, but more frequent than with BBs.

Shima itself isn't that bad. 3-4 shimas on 1 team is pretty bad, and still happens after the latest patch. "Just turn" doesn't quite cut it when there are 50 torps coming your way.

Considering the last real content was released in October of 2015, right now I'm just looking forward to any kind of new ship line.

This. The good accuracy and the fast shell velocity make izumo shine against the iowa. And their citadels are both just as easy to hit. (I actually got hit on my citadel with izumo much less frequently). That being said, I was a pretty new player and I had rushed to get to the iowa, so maybe that explains my abysmal performance in it. -

It's probably because in ranked you have only played 30 battles. Abysmal performance for a dedicated seal clubber, if I may say so.

Fletcher possibly better than the Gearing?

You can get a TON of damage done with gearing if you smoke up and start firing at a battleship. Of course, you have to be careful for incoming torps etc., but if you manage to pull it off, most targets will burn for 20-30k damage while your guns will have done about the same themselves. The problems are turret destruction, and the worse torps. I'd love to be able to have the Fletcher torps on Gearing, due to the fast reload. -
