We are so close to balance, they should maybe add some kind of payment for plane takeoff, maybe 5-10k silver per plane. And if you lose that plane, you pay additional 5-10k silver. Or maybe even completely remove planes from CV and just let them float. Let them be money sink, since time sink isn't enough. They were simply overnerfed and useless. You can't do damage (let alone dev strike like other classes), you can't spot anything (torps or ships), you can't tank damage, you can't cap either and you have 0 utility for team. And let me not even start with being uptiered. In scenarios where you are soft uptiered (meaning there were maybe 3-4 +2 tier ships) it was hard but manageable. But being hard uptiered (with maybe 2 ships of your tier, rest of them being +2) it's basically waste of time. I played game with Lexington and for 11 minutes I managed to do 0 damage. I can understand not being able to approach Minotaur which is basically no-fly zone on water (btw. that ship has longer AA range than its air detection, so you are losing planes before you even spot him), but it was others as well. In the end I had maybe 25k dmg. As tier 8 ship. Before you could at least scout and harass DDs, now you can go afk and hope your team can win game.

I don't care about fxp all that much, but that 5000 doubloons would be great. One perma camo for tier 10. :D Or I could buy 2-3 perma camos for lower tiers.

Yea, was thinking the same. I have researched Ranger, but haven't bought him yet, short on cash. But I am not sure do I need to buy Lexington or only research it?

Do you need to buy Lexington to sell camo, or only research it?

I just read on Reddit that they can be sold for 5000 doubloons and came here to check it out. I have Nobilium for Lexington too, and I would gladly sold it for 5k. But I presume you need to have ship for it, so now I am thinking should I use fxp and buy Lexington only to get 5k doubloons.

I presume it's for balance purposes.
