Wie zur Hölle schaffen es die Leute mit der T6 Fubuki schlechter zu sein als mit der alten T6 Mutsuki, die sogar mit den exakt gleichen Stats auf T5 noch Müll ist? Wow. Edit: Gut, das Problem wird natürlich sein das deutlich weniger "erfahrene" Spieler dieses Schiff spielen, da es nicht Teil der neuen Linie ist.

Kleiner Tipp: Vergiss bitte einfach diese nutzlosen ingame-Werte. Die sind zum vergleichen von Schiffen ungefähr so nützlich wie ein Messer ohne Griff.

Nobody forces you to buy her. Just don't do it. The reward for playing a premium ship should not be to have a straight up better silver ship, but having a captain retrainer and money earner. Both of which she does just fine. Tbh, I like premiums like here much more than ones like Belfast and such...

She would just be a straight up better Hipper for money. Not sure that's what people want, it's not what I want for sure. That would just shift the problem to T7.

Dein Geschwurbel am Anfang ignoriere ich mal dezent, ansonsten sollte dir klar sein, dass längst nicht alle, die neue Schiffe haben, ST's sind...Kontributoren kriegen die auch, zum Teil solche, die sonst nur WoT spielen. Bezweifle sowieso, dass du das Schiff bereits 9 mal gesehen hast.

Sitting in smoke to cap is honestly not a good strategy. There are two options here what happened, both are your fault: Either you went into the cap, smoked up before you even got spotted and got rushed by a Bismarck which you couldn't spot because you had no vision (common mistake) or you saw the Bismarck coming and stayed although you knew he likely had radar.

That build still means you get sizeable AA range. And at 9 and 10, most players abandon the secondary build anyway. NC might be only clearly superior one because of the way people build those, the rest is very much competetive. And really, that "not citadel damage" argument is a bit invalid. It's not a weakness, it balances out how it is supposed to be with the fact you don't get citadelled. These are also, unlike citadel hits, HP you can get back. 10 to 20 meters in turning circles an literal fractions of rudder shift (further reduced by mods) in difference are really a difference to you? Because for me as a carrier player, they are not. IJN has to give up a lot for that speed: ships are longer and they turn WAY worse. The Germans are just not sacrificing enough for their speed advantage.

You like to get trolled?

The AA rating in game does mean crapall, I hoped everyone had realised tha at this stage really. The fact is that long range AA is the most important one in this game and in this regard, the German BB's from T6 onwards fair very well and mostly up to the level of the American BB's. So for me, as a rather excellent carrier player, it doesn't really matter if I attack a New Mexico or Bayern. Gneisenau is even worse than Colorado, Bismarck only slightly worse then NC. I will still lose more planes to American AA since they are generally better at shorter ranges, but that short range AA will only start killing my planes when I have already dropped: with the plane reserves you have on higher tiers, this is pretty much irrelevant though.

Some people will really go out of their way to defend their loved ones. First point: tier for tier, Bayern, König and Kaiser also have great speed and maneuvrability. So there's that. They pretty much all have that, only that Bismarck ALSO combines that with hydro. Second point: They all have great AA, not only Gneisenau. Especially the low tiers have for their tier, the high tiers also have very good long range AA. You will lose more planes when attacking an American BB overall because of short range AA, but the important parts is how many torps/bombs you get in the water: the long range AA ensures there is no difference in German BB's to American BB's there, which is bad. The 105's and 128's need a nerf, simple as that.

It's even a stupid way to get the mission done. By being patient, you will get that mission easily over maybe 10 games if you are at least average in you carrier gameplay. It's two mediocre torp drops and 2 divebomber strikes. The kills are a bit random, but you will get there.

So, why have they stayed active for me for well over a year now, without mods?

Well, two things: ships won't detonate with Juliet Charlie equipped, as long as there is no India X-ray or Victor Lima as well. So I'm calling for replay or it didn't happen. Never heard of ot, contradicts every statement we've ever heard. Secondly, no matter if you have mods or not, if you have activated replays, they stay activated after every patch.

It just doesn't make sense to make an exception just for that case. Take a T9 and be done with it. Also, those divisions still fecked with the mirror MM of DD's for example. And I also wouldn't be happy to be forced into a T10 battle with my T8 CV just because a Yamato dived up with a Shokaku.

That's not an argument. It still is the far superior design, both as a battleship and as a fleet escort. It's not even a competition. Its like saying "Porsche wasn't satisfied with the '97 911, so the '98 Hyundai Sonata is the better car."

Tirpitz has actually a worse AA than Bismarck. By quite a margin even. And global nerfs to AA apply to Premiums as well, as seen on Yubari, Atago etc.

It's not for any CV past T5 on the american line and not for any japanese apart from Hosho.

There is, by the way, a very easy (and needed) nerf that could balance out the line: nerf the AA. Like, crapon it. It was crap historically and there is no reason why from T5 to T8, it's basically the most effective in the game. Combined with the fact they are often closer to their cruisers (due to their brawling strenght) they are a way too hard target for a CV to consider. Nerf the damage of the 105's and the range of the 37mm's and the ship finally have a weakness that can be exploited.

The damage and spotting a carrier does can vastly outnumber the things you have actually seen him do in battle. Also, plane kills count a lot. Carrier economy is terrible for month now, but that is not one of its problems.

She was a lot of things, but not a better design than Iowa. Not on any role really.
