i thought they will give skill reset cause of the last patch on ijn dd.

CV is hard counter to BB, but cause on higher battles it is seen only 1/5 or 1/10 battles it cant be seen as real hard counter if you cant count on them for every battle. DD isnt doing enough damage to be real hard counter. even though psychologically they are great deterrent to BB, they arent doing nearly enough damage to really be a hard counter. . lets take for example yamato. he is doing on average 1.3-2.1 CA hp pool damage zao is doing on average 4 dd hp pool worth of damage but if you take shimakaze on average is doing 40% pool, gearing 47% and khaba 58% (rounded yama hp pool to 100k) and i didnt even took in the fact that BB can repair making their HP pool go over 100% easily.

well considering how nerfing of cv has started, wouldnt be suprised start of the attack is always when planes commit (aka yellow cone).

well you couldnt move discharge point after start of attack anyways before the attack you could move it as much as you wanted to.

finally some clarification. cause all affected ships is kinda vague...

limiting DD to 2-3 per team would be much better option. now you have shima totally UP with average 40k damage per battle. gearing is better with some 47k, and khaba is doing 58k. average damage on shima dropped down for 10-15k damage depending on the week you are watching, while shima was only slightly better than gearing and khaba. WG is doing what it does best. instead of slightly nerfing, they overnerf the ship too much.

i stopped. just for GNB i bought ranger and actually had some fun in it. but going on lex or more is just asking for punishment...

but usually for cv it is choice between scouting and dealing damage. i will scout dd if there is immediate danger to ally fleet, or if our fleet can actually kill that dd in reasonable amount of time. otherwise i will concentrate on dealing damage...

well you found 2 problems already in this system. no rewards for scouting, and really small rewards for defending ships with AA

i know, i was just trolling well i understand what you mean. i like how ppl who dont play cv or dd like to comment in threads about their performance, specially when they dont know what they are talking about.

just for AA buffed ships or will shima, kagero and fubu be included even if they dont get removed torpedo tubes?

i played yamato and montana many times and i dont have the ships. i fail to see your point

i am trying to find out if there will be any free captain skill reset at all. cause when ijn dd got nerfed they didnt get any free captain skill reset, but all ships that got buffed get free skill reset. i mean WTF!!!!

be sunk idk why you expect a counter class to BB? that is unrealistic..

dd arent hard counter to bb. that is obvious if you look at the stats. average damage of any dd cant kill one bb on the same tier...

you are calculating wrongly. 2000*1.5(premium account)*(0.3 (premium ship)+0.5 (Equal Speed Charlie London) +2.5 (GNB 9m Milestone))= 2000*1.5*3.3=9900xp i am unclear how the zulu hotel works. does it add only 50% on base xp*premium account, or it adds 50% on all ship earned experience. did someone check? so you could either have 4500k captain xp for that battle or almost 11400 captain xp for that battle. not 25k. also who says that on your first victory you wil learn 2k base xp? you are more likely to get 1000-1200 base xp than 2k...

yes it is cause if kuma gets respec but shima doesnt, i will put my shima captain in kuma...

you are telling me that with your large CV experience? cause you are driving mostly BB you have selective memory about CV deleting montanas. what is BB counter? it is CV. what is CV counter? it is CA. so if you sail with CA somewhere close to you wont get deleted. DF is already large deterrent to CV, without added monstrous AA on every ship starting with DD(usn).
