problem is that i think i opened a thread about wrong thing. forum rules against spamming are rather narrow and moderators cant do anything by the book if it technically isnt spamming like "dear wg" spam last weekend. forum rules should be expanded so behavior of spamming new threads are sanctioned by temporary inability to post new threads.

i would add he rarely even responds in threads he starts and when he does he responds in a way that ignores all the discussion in the topic and focuses on his "smart " idea even more encouraging even more off topic/spam/trolling. is my approach to the problem bad? yes it is. but i acknowledge that there is a problem. ignoring it wont make it go away. problem is that he is excellent troll who wont be banned cause he isnt technically doing anything against forum rules, but he is still abusing them. seriously start reading his threads, you wont be making that assumption ever again

cause there is use of forums like everyone else, and then there is abuse of forums like he does it. use and abuse is 2 totally different things. i would have suggested that normal forumite has to have at least 10 posts for every thread he can create, but that would actually hinder normal use of forum for other players that have legitimate questions and concerns. where you see it as freedom of speech problem, i see it as abuse of normal forum use. i am always against abusers and trolls. should i spam 5 topics daily with stupid ideas about gameplay just to prove my point?

nah, its just that over 70% ppl have actually read some of his threads and actually tried to engage in meaningful discussion about his ideas...

same can be said for my idea. if moderators dont adopt my idea, i dont see how this would limit him. btw compared to his ideas, mine is actually useful

but this is my freedom of speech also. he is trying to limit me in the game with his ideas, i am trying to limit him on forum with my ideas? fair enough? edit: btw petition is basic right of the democracy.

he needs restricted ability to make new threads. i am not against him posting things on forums. just against him creating new threads with stupid/troll ideas. out of total 700 posts he has 144 opened threads. so 1/5 of his posts are new threads. he doesnt even discuss his ideas much. so why not limit spam/troll?

you earned captain reserve slot with some mission cause your reserve was full. you could have earned it with april fools event (you could have gotten 3skill captain for every nation) or with ARP event.

it is. he complained that USN BB have worse accuracy than IJN BB and he has better hit ratio with USN than with IJN. maybe, but just maybe 2 line have different playstyles, and their accuracy fits their playstyle?
