  3. you forgot sitting in smoke (usually while capping). taking shitty ship in which you perform shitty (think that some ranger/mutsuki/hatsuharu players should recognize themselves here) my biggest mistake in this season ranked was counting on my teammates. had many situations where my teammates just retreated instead of pushing and my late situational awareness, well kicked in late. getting to rank 5 was rather easy, but then it was hell grind cause with players with similar skill level you would always get around 50% WR. like you said tnx god that bad players caught up to rank 5 and lot of good players ranked to rank 1, otherwise i would need 200 more games to rank 1.

  9. only thing i find unfair in teamkilling status is when you want to remove it, any collision with teammates prolongs the status for the battle. doesnt matter if you only shave off 1hp of friendly.

    and that is why it is well played CV. if they attacked you 1 by 1 you could have dodged. it was their skill and teamplay that made you unable to dodge.

    we should nerf BB cause they kill any mid tier ca with 2-3 citadels. you dont even need teamwork.

    yesterday i took my murmansk for a first ride. got detonation from 1 bb at start of the battle. couldnt do anything. UNFAIR ADVANTAGE BB so lets turn the sarcasm off. this topic isnt constructive, it is just another whine thread. usually you can dodge TB from 1 CV in CA, and if 2 CV focused on you, then tough luck, but they earned their kill. coordinating so you cant dodge with 2 cv is hard. if they went in 1 by 1, then you would have chance of survival. edit: and 2v2 cv arent OP cause you have 2 CV in your team that have FIGHTERS

    2 cv focusing on one ship is as OP as 2 bb focusing on one ca from short-mid range, or 2 ca focusing on 1 dd on short-mid range, or 2 dd focusing on one bb short-mid range. i dont see a problem here.

    got doubloons and there was 50% discount on murmansk and marblehead so i bought them. even had some leftover doubloons after buying them
  18. with some grinding yes. there are lot of bad players that grinded to r5+ so you could get to rank 1 if you grind. but i would expect that you will get frustrated cause of tight time limit...

    you know like in GNB where achieve x base experience was different for people with premium account and without it. so if someone achieves 2000 base experience it is counted 3000 for people with premium and 2000 for people without premium.

  21. i would rather that WG fixes that saipan. it is almost impossible for it not to end up on top with semi decent player in it.
  22. if you are talking about class that can win games it is CV. i had 90% WR with hiryu till i got to rank 10 and got raped by dedicated CV players with 15+ captains (i took hiryu with fresh captain). on 7v7 CV is the ship that wins battles (or loses them). myoko can hunt down dd cause most of the time they are visible (rarely i have seen coordinated team in ranked that kept smoking all the time so that all dd-s were hidden). gunboats=visible. so you can shoot at them from 8-14km. if you expect to fight them on 5-6km, then... people are stuck on that kiev cause you mentioned russian bias, and there are hardly many players that play kiev (and any other russian ship). and hatsu vs kiev is also hard to see cause hatsu is also one of the rarely seen ships. and i dont get your point? is it that ships should be balanced for ranked? or that hatsu should get a buff? you just need to learn how to adapt to ranked rules, and not expect ranked to adapt to you. if there is dd meta you take CA or mahan/blyska/sims/kiev. you dont take hatsu in dd heavy meta. and problem with dd meta isnt cause dd win ranked, it is cause CA get wasted by BB easily, so dd (gunboats) are best choice.

    needed 290 battles to rank 1. started at rank 16 or 17. needed some 130 battles to rank 5 and then at rank 5... problem there was that all people were more or less equally skilled so it was hard to get advantage and quickly get to rank 1. when more and more people got to rank 1 and grinders with less then 50% wr caught up to rank 5 it got progressively easier cause in bad teams you could get top spot easier and in good teams.. well win. reward for getting to rank 1: jolly roger, murmansk, marblehead, some doubloons, 100 type 3 camo (100%xp) and 5mil credits. not to mention all the flags. much better reward than GNB and its grindy missions.
