just got bug where i got to rank 5(flag and everything), but i was still put into rank 6 battles...

you have put so much half truths in there... first he asked about wanting help in ranked battles. ranked battles dont allow divisions. you always end up with random team based on rank you are. also while captain skills allow some advantage, they arent game breaking so you cant do crapwithout them. also while IF-HE increases penetration of HE, it also decreases fire % chance, so you have less fires. and 10 point captain is perfectly fine for getting good results. yes flamu is good player, but in his commentaries he also explains tactics in ranked for different ships and how to use them for regular joes. ffs he plays them in ranked and not in div with someone. dont judge something before you watched it. and i suggested it as starting point to see how belfast is played, and to check other ranked videos on youtube (be it from flamu or not). tactics for ranked are different than for random battles. btw he asked what he is doing wrong with this ship. he didnt put any replay or anything else. what did you expect people to say about his gameplay? maybe i could have divined the problem with my glowing crystal ball? of course i will check stats and see how he is performing. he didnt have super unicum results so i suggested youtube videos. is that wrong? also flamu belfast ranked commentary:

first i looked at his ranked statistics in last month, not his overall statistics. second you can see a lot in statistics. statistics are good way to see if someone has mastery of ship or not. even if the team sucks if someone has mastered a ship he will perform above average in it. third he asked what he is doing wrong. of course i will look at his stats to see how he is performing. if he performed above average i would say his team is crap, tough luck. if he performs below average-average, then he can improve himself. also i recommended flamus belfast commentary video cause he explains how the belfast should be played in ranked, and some common mistakes he saw people do in it. btw in ranked you cant div and "boost" stats.

belfast is one of the ships that needs good scouting and people to stay alive long enough to support you. and from what i saw in your stats in belfast you arent pulling enough weight to carry your team. average damage for belfast is 44.3k you have 38.7k. average ship kills is 0.8 per battle. i would suggest you check some videos on youtube for belfast and ranked to see where you can improve. belfast ranked commentary from flamu is a good start.

this is more of a mental problem. you are under tilt... considering quality of players on r6-r10 you should be able to carry most of the games, and when you lose in most of them you should be on top of the team. if you see that you are unable to go up ranks usually that means you have reached skill wall. wait 2-3 days till more skilled players get to rank 1 and fresh lower skilled blood gets to r2-r5. more unskilled players in your league= easier to carry and easier to perform in losing team (aka top spot in losing team). 2 seasons ago i made a mistake of going into first wave with unskilled captain in mahan and needed 290 battles to reach rank 1. i had frustrations cause i was playing with higher skilled players and for every battle won, i had a battle lost in r5-r2. and that situation has continued for over 100 battles (weirdly i didnt fall to r6 ) till lot of skilled players got to rank 1. then i just breezed over to r1 with only ~30 battles. last season i only needed 115 battles to rank 1 (should have been with less than 100 battles, but didnt have luck). i had a skilled captain and i went in with second wave. didnt hurry to reach rank 1. i have just chosen to play with less skilled players in second wave and could easily carry. this season i started late (few days ago) and carry most of the battles. am almost r7 and have 71% WR. just going nice and easy. moral of the story. dont be in a hurry to reach r1. you have over 20 days left till ranked is over. set a goal of going 1 rank per day and just work towards it. playing under pressure just spoils your game.

there are already too many snowflakes in higher ranks, no need to increase them with irrevocable ranks..

does someone need to overperform in said ship for his opinions to matter? belfast is OP cause it has hydro, radar and smoke along with low concealment. people not using it to its advantages doesnt mean it isnt OP.

well i know to rage in chat about team (mostly about camping and not pushing), just i am not a**hole about it. and imagine what i have 129 karma and have never been chat banned.. and only had 1 instance where i got -7 karma... and in ranked it is almost impossible to get negative karma unless you behave like retarded kid and insult everyone..

report system is a customer support mechanism in which players can rage against other player with insignificant report and think they made a difference, instead of raging to customer support about that player. they will not change this so you must learn live with it...

sry, but it is a broken skill. in gearing i have taken flanking ijn dd-s that i wouldnt normally go for just cause i knew they were there. it is easy to sandwich them between you and the border with RPF. in hands of skilled players it is downright broken. just cause most of the players dont know how to use it doesnt mean it isnt broken skill. so in general it is mandatory skill for almost all dd except russian ones. so that means you must select RPF as 14 point skill otherwise you are at huge disadvantage against DD that have RPF.
