you can get overpen hit that gets you overpen damage+regular pen damage (idk if you can get overpen+citadel with one shell). most likely to be seen when bb shoots dd with AP ammo. it overpens one section of the ship and regular pens the other. also you can get regular pen hit with no damage. idk if anyone has actual explanation for this, but there are several theories about why it happens. but your case is probably 2 shells of which one overpen and one citadel...

i am for removing stealthfire if they actually provide compensation mechanic for it. someone suggested reworking spotting penalty after firing so dd are have penalty of 10 seconds, ca 15 seconds and bb 20 seconds instead of 20 seconds for all classes. but removing stealth fire with this shitty range increase compensation... no thanks...

when you do damage over time tk penalty increases. first it damages teammate normally, then after some threshold it gets reflected. that is why difference in damage.

it is cause you set him on fire. when you set ally on fire you do damage over time on him. so if he had that fire going on for minute, it would count as you constantly attacking him for a minute... and that is why TK system put you as teamkiller...

i think that everyone had few matches like this. these kind of matches arent enjoyment for either side and xp gain is quite bad for both sides. that is why i suggest to have some kind of xp/credit modifier that would be applied (to winning team or both team) in case one side totally dominates other and quickly ends the match.

quick wins are punished with ultra low xp gain. had a battle where our dd capped base in standard battle in 5 minutes of battle. enemy just went on flanks, dd spotted opportunity sneaked into enemy base and capped it. nobody in our team got over 900xp, dd that won the game has gotten some 400-500xp cause he didnt have damage/tanking xp and cap xp from one standard battle cap is well crap... and he single handedly won the battle. or today had a battle that ended in 3 minutes cause idiots in my team just started teamkilling (some 4-6 ships killed due to teamkilling). we were steamrolled and had no xp gain. neither did enemy. you can check replay here. just too bad i didnt get ss of team score...

you have 2 versions of xp that you can use for captain retraining. free xp that is used to unlock new ships, hulls and missouri (750k free xp) and elite captain xp that is gained after you get 19 point captain. using free xp for accelerating captain training isnt worth it cause you can use free xp on other things and total gain of free xp is very low (only 5% of total xp gained per battle, or 20% if you use papa papa flags). using elite captain xp is worth it cause you gain it pretty fast on t9-t10 with 19 point captain (100% of total xp, or you can even boost it up to 4-5 times with flags and camos). so lets say you earn 2k xp per battle. you will gain 100 raw free xp. if you put papa papa flags you will get 400 free xp per battle. so you will need to play 500 battles without papa papa flags, or 125 battles with papa papa flags if you want to gain 50k free xp, but if you use elite captain xp you will need only 25 battles to gain 50k elite captain xp that you use for retraining. and that is without any mods. if you use dragon flag, +50% commander xp flag, +50% base xp flag and camos, you can earn above 10k captain xp per battle. so that means you only need 4-5 battles to gain 50k free xp. so if you have elite captain xp use it for retraining and accelerating other captain training. if not dont use free xp for it.

dont use free xp for retraining.. it is just using too valuable xp... it is better to get 19 point captain and grind elite captain xp with it (in t9 or t10 battles). free xp is gained 5% of total xp per battle, elite commander xp is gained 100% of total battle xp + modifiers.

only torpedoes that i like more are those from russian ca or german ca... specially when nearest enemy is 15km away...

do you know what was the reason for nerfing 155mm AFT and BFT? cause it was unrealistic for ca with small caliber guns to have bigger range than bb with big caliber guns. and then they introduced russian ca...
