    i had hard time last season cause it was radar meta and i used blyska most of the time. when i switched to fiji it was much easier... sometimes it is all about finding best ship to carry with.

    you wouldnt say so if you had to do never ending grind... when you play 100 battles, just to notice that you are still at same rank... that was even before keeping star as top xp in losing team.

    irrevocable ranks are needed if you dont want to get crazy. do you know what would premier league look like with all the players of similar skill level? without any shitty players? i know cause once i got to premier league within a week of ranked. i needed 290 battles to rank out cause in premier league i had ~50% WR before shitty players came in. season after that i waited week or two before starting ranked and i needed only 115 games to rank out (could have done in less than 100 if i didnt experiment). while you may think you lost cause of shitty teams, i think other way. if my team is shitty, i can get top xp. if enemy team is shitty we win. also if both teams are shitty, i can more easily carry team to win.

    Normal penetration damage on DDs

    first arizona is t6, dm donsk is t9. on higher tier BB it is normal for gearing to eat 10-15k damage per volley. also for dps calculation you are using full citadel value and not HE value. also you are not counting that with HE you get lot of shell damage absorbed (by modules) or shattered shells so not every shell counts when you use HE with donsk. why do you think i had fired 24 shells and only did around 15k damage? cause every shell can do 625 damage to dd? or cause half my shells got absorbed by hitting modules? so even with your incorrect calculations and you assume that donsk can do 158400 damage vs arizonas 123600, actual damage that donsk will do when facing dd is half that cause of modules, so it is 79200 damage on t9 vs arizonas 123600 on t6. and that is from supposed dd counter on t9 vs bb (that is supposed to get countered by dd) on t6.

    your problem is that you just didnt find ship in which you could carry. i took shinonome, thought my progress was too slow cause i was doing very low damage so i took out fuso. then i saw how terrible our dd were (got straight 5 wins at first then next ~10 battles were hell) and decided that there needs to be at least 1 good dd at team for a win. so i took shinonome again and it carried me to r1. farragut is terrible ship for carrying cause everything has better concealment than you (ffs even gnevny) and you get focused by bb a lot (gotta love those BB AP shells). with gallant you probably had unskilled captain? think that best dd for this season was anshan then shinonome and on third place gallant and fubuki.

    played ranked this season with my shinonome. remember getting raped from arizonas from 12-15km for 5-10k damage per volley with AP. after that returned to random battles and played my dm. donsk. hit 15 times did 9k damage to one dd. hit 24 times did 15k damage to other dd. and keep getting similar damage vs other dd. ffs how the f*ck it is normal for dd counter(aka ca) to do less damage per shell than bb (and dd should "counter" bb). bb has guaranteed overpen damage on dd (i srsly doubt i ever saw bounce when bb shot me in dd). while cruisers (aka "dd counter") keep getting shattered HE shells, oversaturation etc.

    you wouldnt believe amount of dd-s i killed cause of RPF. specially when they are out of position or trying to flank. also you can more easily dodge torps. not really. even though sometimes you may know that there is dd out there and general direction (like east or north of your position), it is gamble to actually correctly guess his direction specially if he wasnt spotted. in ranked (on new dawn) i had one hatsu running away from friendly dd along the 1 line then he turned into J line (cause i was pinging his location). if i hadnt had RPF i wouldnt know where he was, nor could i perfectly intercept him (ffs who would go to J line to chase dd unless he knew he was there 100%. specially when most of the enemy fleet was on B cap or north of it). he could have easily gone 3-4 line and then retreated with cover of the islands and rejoined his teammates if i hadnt had RPF. so not only RPF provides me location of enemy dd, it also directly influences behavior of the located dd. it also leaves him with very few choices he can make.

    i was raging yesterday cause even in "balanced" team we were steamrolling enemy. ffs when you have matches where enemy can only kill 3-4 of your teams ships while your team kills off all enemy ships... it is too damn boring and xp gain is shitty...

    Fun with missions: Design your own!

    i really dont mind current weekly missions if you changed only 2 things in them. remove nations criteria and remove mission chain. so instead of current format where you have 5 stages mission you simultaneously run all 5 stages as 5 separate missions(maybe even 6th that has criteria of finishing all 5 missions ). i get mostly stuck in grindy part of the stage so i usually dont finish 4th and 5th stages even though i get their requirements often while doing the grindy part. weekly mission structure: no brainer (play 3 battles/win 1 battle/kill 1 ship) little skill (sink 2 ships in 1 battle/do 50k damage in 1 battle/deal 20k fire damage in 1 battle or smth similarly easy) grindy mission (hit 50 ship torps/ set 50 fires/kill 30 ships) skilled mission (do 100k damage in 1 battle/ get 60k scouting damage in one battle/tank 1.5 million damage) heroic battle mission (earn kraken/high caliber/confederate) complete them all mission (finish 5 previous mission) mission rewards can be same as before.

    i had games where my team so sucked that i got 7-8 kills and still managed to lose. if i had yamamotos -33% reload, those games could have been won easily. yes it will be rare for ppl to get kraken (at least on high tiers), but when they do it will be OP.
