you have flawed perception. you got something. just that something isnt what you wanted to get and that is why you are angry. but you yourself are to blame for spending so much money when you cant take a loss. i for example decided not to buy any boxes cause i already have all the ships that i want in port and i dont play lot of premiums even though they are good ships. sure i would like to have belfast, gremmy, nikolai etc. but i dont want to spend so much money on ships that i will play once every month or two. even when belfast was on sale i didnt buy it cause i knew it would just rust at my port.

problem is your understanding of randomness. randomness doesnt mean equal distribution. if there is 20% chance of winning a ship and 5 people take 20 boxes, it is perfectly within reason of randomness that 1 guy gets 20 ships, while other 4 get none. also if there is 10-30% chance of winning a ship, that is a chance of winning a normal ship that is given inside those boxes. for special cases like nikolai, gremmy and kamikaze it is written there is slim chance of getting them. what is slim chance? if normal is 10% then maybe slim is 5% or 2% or 1%

so instead of buying 3-4 t6 ships or 2 t8 ship and getting the ones you want, you spent that money on gambling and a chance of winning random ship with lots of random goodies? and then you are angry cause you didnt get anything? eg. alabama is 34€, tirpitz is 35€...

from what i understood if you win ship in christmas box, it checks if you already have it in port. if you do, then it gives you SC with random ship or smth.

well i will tell you a story from my ex workplace so maybe some things will become clear. anyways i was working in big telecommunication company in my country and they used a lot of tools(programs) simplified for people who arent technologically gifted. marketing was one of departments that used those tools the most. so instead of writing simple SQL query after understanding structure of database, they used GUI tool that "simplified" writing queries without actual need to understand structure of database. and mistakes happened in marketing campaigns cause they either put wrong attributes, or wrong equations when searching for people eligible for specific campaign. so it is probably simple human error that gave lucky reward to some of the people. btw i remember this lucky error last year.. i didnt get anything either. RIGGED!!!

1. british cruisers have torps, and i score hits with them pretty constantly. hint: be closer to the enemy 2. rather easy with a t5+ dd. kamikaze, shinonome, pan asian dd-s pretty much all do devastating strikes to bb-s there. havent played rest of t5-t9 ijn dd-s since nerf, but i guess it is possible for them also. 3. while it is not easy, it is doable 4. cca 2-3 days of playing if you have premium and/or camos

16 ships out of 60 containers? seems like chances are around ~1/4 for ships, same as most of the posts (except few unlucky ones) that bought 20 containers. sucks to be the ones that didnt get ships..

IIRC i noticed this with changes in spotting mechanics update (remember SA bug?). idk if i reported it in bugs thread or just posted this problem in normal SA bug thread.

yeah clan wars were great. i am happy cause i managed to beat all top clans at least once with my team. loved the format with no CV and 1 BB, would have probably loved it even CV cause you actually get competent players in your team and enemies so it is rather enjoyable even if you lose (there is still frustration, cause you knew you could do better, compared to ranked where there is bad frustration cause you watch stupidity of teammates). only thing that was a problem is prime time. it was too early. for people in uk it started in 18:00 and some people cant get home after the job then. it should start at least in 20:00 CET and last till midnight. or 19-23.

yes they are rare and if you buy low amount of containers (eg 5, or maybe even 10) it may not drop. that is why i said if you want all those than go for it. you will probably need to buy at least 20-40 boxes to be truly worth it compared to prices in shop (if anyone think that spending so much money is worth it, specially for big boxes). eg. if on 20 small boxes (so 20€) you get . one 30 day premium (value ~10€), 1 ship (de grasse normal price is around ~20€, mutsu ~23€) and bunch of flags it is worth it. and that is with chances around 1/20 for premium and ship (they may be around 1/10, but cause of RNG you see different results)

for those who want doubloons, premium time, special flags and some ships this is actually a good deal, cause overall you will be more in plus than if you bought it in the store. if you want just to get some (specific) ships then it is gambling and you can spend much more than it is actually worth it.

for extensive testing and removing RNG from equation i will need at least about 1000 containers for test
