WOW, never have I been so ashamed of a ship like Georgia. What a piece of ....
Hanse77SWE replied to ___V_E_N_O_M___'s topic in General Discussion
I ever sold one premium and I bought her back as soon as I could. It was only a T2 so no biggie. -
I've played since OBT. Not a single chattban. But the Karmasystem is broken. We don't need another way to send negativity to other players. Remove the system alltogether and find a way to enforce positive feedback instead.

I'm sorry but memorizing hundreds of ships armor and gun stats just to get a slight edge in the game sounds like a bad idea to me. It's not like you have time to go look it up while in a match. Learn the overmatch-rule and then play the game. That's the way to know what works and doesn't work.
-
What's the point? You're never going to hit a specific weakpoint anyway. Just aim in the general area and pray to RNGsus.
-
Could we please not do this? There will be guesses and hype and then people will be dissapointed when it doesn't turn out the way they hoped. Just wait and see.

Summer Recruitment Drive - Get Paid for Inviting Friends!

If the game is good the people will play it and put money into it. "A good product will sell itself." -
I think there are other things in the game that should be dealt with first.

I remember when the Marblehead had longer detectrange than gunrange and the Murmansk had better gunrange than a New Mexico. Had to check my WR in some of the OP ships. Fujin: 62.28% (Had it since Halloween 2015) Kamikaze: 73.17% Kamikaze R: 70.83% Belfast: 63.64% Kutuzov: 72.55% "Nikki": 75% "Grem": 100% (Only one game) Giulio Cesare: 77.78% König Albert: 77.14% Does this make me a bad person?
-
"A ship that take little to no skill to dominate in."

I would like to ad that we shouldn't just look at the WR. I'm keeping an eye on a known bot and he has 40-45% WR. It's the other numbers that are interesting. <10% survival-rate, 0,25 kills/game, 0.26 kills/death. Stuff like that.
-
As I remember they even said that you could get a refund up until the fix. No questions asked.
-
I'll just put this here….
-
A "problem" is that a "bad" player sees 45% WR as a good result. "I win more now than I used to do so I must get better." It comes from not learning at the low tiers, just rushing through and when they reach mid tiers they still know nothing. They make the mistake of moving up before they have "mastered" the previous level. Perhaps there should be two requirements for leveling up. One grind-based and one skill-based (XXXX potential damage in a game or damage done or somthing like that. Just a thought.)

Brand new player looking for relaxed and casual Clan
Hanse77SWE replied to dreadzone50's topic in Looking for a Clan
I'll do a cut and paste here: "Introverts Unite Separately! Want to get the benefits of the clan without having to interact with people? Then you've come to the right place! Just play the game, gather oil and you'll never hear from us (if you don't want to). We have three rules. 1: Be nice. 2. If you haven't played in three weeks, you're out. 3: No hidden stats. Welcome! Vi talar svenska!" -
Good advice, learn to play.........
Hanse77SWE replied to Hopeless_Guppy's topic in General Discussion
When I look at the stats of a "bad" player, two thing stand out for the most. Bad survival-rate Bad hit-ratio You can't learn aiming by just looking at vids. You need to pick up a gut-feeling and that can only be done by practice. If you get better at shooting, the survival should go up as well since you are killing off the enemies before they can kill you but it's not wrong to learn how to use your armor. This you can do from vids. All and all, there are no substitute for practice. -
I know. The post was more to those who say that you have to play a certain way to succeed in the game. By doing so you turn the game in to the ultimate "Rinse and repeat"-experience.

On the matter of "How to play in the CV-meta" I have this to say. I enjoy playing different ships in different styles. Torpedo-ninja, Brawling BB, HE-spamming cruiser, I play them all, except CVs. But when some one say "Just stick together" they are actually saying: "There is only one way to play this game." How fun is that? The whole team is forced into one playstyle, without exception, just because of 1/12 (or 1/6) of the team lineup. Yes, some teamplay is good but it must be possible to "Do your own thing", "Go Wild!" or "Try something new". Otherwise you're restrained by your team and your gaming experience is dictated by other players and not by yourself. You have no saying in what you want to do! A team consists of individuals, each one with their values and thoughts on what "Fun" is. By railroading them in to "The one meta." you take away the width of the game.

Use Gun Fire Control System Modification 2. Sit back. Spam HE. That's how it was played back when I grinded it. EDIT: To the person who gave me a thumb down. That was over three years ago. Things change.

I'm waiting to know what the "Ziggy" will be, coal or FXP before I do anything.
-
Two things: 1: Extend queuetime in co-op to 60 seconds. I'm willing to wait an extra 30 s. to avoid things like this. (This was at 14:00 on a Friday.) 2: Remove the Karma system. It's just a big "U suck!" sign without any constructive feedback. How can I improve if don't even know what I did "wrong"? I wouldn't mind to see a system where you can give a percentage of you earnings to another player as a reward for good things. I think that has a better effect that autogenerated messages.

Is this how CVs are intended to be "balanced"?
Hanse77SWE replied to KielYourself's topic in General Discussion
Again, it doesn't matter what they say. Only thing that matters is what they do. And the future of the game rests on it. -

Hanse77SWE replied to KielYourself's topic in General Discussion
They don't have to tell us anything. The point of a survey is so they know what we think and if they fail to act upon that then it will only come back to bite their own backsides. Also, speak of the devil! I got a survey and i said what I think and what I do. Now WG has the ball. -

Hanse77SWE replied to KielYourself's topic in General Discussion
And that's why WG should send out a survey on the matter. I'm surprised they haven't done it by now. At least I haven't seen one. But then I wonder: If facts show that the rework was a fail, will WG go back, push through with the changes or perhaps do a second rework? What ever they do they will have to make it soon because after what I've seen and heard, the playerbase are getting impatient and are starting to look for other games to play. At least I am. -
Ranked Battles: the Twelfth Season
Hanse77SWE replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
I didn't even try. I don't like to play T10. I don't like the CV rework. I had my doubts about the rentals. I started back in OBT and have played 7 games/day on average for four years. Now,.....well…..somedays I don't even have the the urge to start the client. "Why bother?" that's how I feel about the whole game.
