What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?
Hanse77SWE replied to Hanszeehock's topic in General Discussion
Did the last of the "Birthday-flakes." All 210 of them. Please WG! Keep events like this to a minimum. I don't have the strength to do this too often. -
More CVs = more reasons to leave the game.

AT LAST!!! In the 30th and final SC I got a premium ship….that I already have. No biggie, dubloons are fine too. -
Thanks but no thanks.

There's two sides to this. 1: People doing teamdamage on purpose. 2: Accidents happens. Collisions with teammates are in the second one and it's really no biggie. If you turn pink it's for two games then it's back to normal. It's gone so far that no one cares if you're pink bc it happens all of the time. And the fact that both parties are tagged for TD in a collision is not really fair either. The biggest loss from a collision is not the HP you lose, but that you cant maneuver or that you lose speed. Collision damage between teammates could be turned off with no major consequences to the game. For me being punished should only depend on one thing: How often do you do it. Not how much damage you did. (You can't control how much one hit does as it's built into the game and somewhat random. Where the shell hits. Overpen vs. citadel.) Not if he dies or not. (Again, not something you really control. I've had a friendly hit trigger a detonation so, random.) What should be punished is if you do TD several times in the same battle or several games in a row. But there's two side to a coin. 1: I have the responsibility to not hit my teammates. 2: My teammates have the responsibility to stay away from my firing arcs ("Close to" that is.) And vice versa. Players who place themselves infront of teammates guns and torps just to block them from doing damage or getting the kill IS a problem. I don't have a solution for it but I hate when it happens.

I didn't say anything about the armor. But you quoted me so I answerd it.
-
I didn't say that they should or shouldn't. I just said that I don't care. IMHO she's not a good ship. Those guns are all she has. The rest is "meh".
-
Have all of them. Even all three of the Kamis. As for the Musashi (have her too): I don't care but it would be nice with a high tier IJN BB premium to match The "Mo", The Ohio, The Georgia and the Thunderer.

It is fun to play well and win!
-
Because DD-players know that they won't get any help from the rest of the team so they have to take stupid risks to get some reward out of it.

How do you greet enemies or/and the friends at the start of the battle?
Hanse77SWE replied to seXikanac's topic in General Discussion
Usually nothing, sometime a quick honk of the horn. I don't like the spam in chatt at the start of a game. It's better use of the time to say where you are going and/or what you plan to do. I've even seen game were player type in chatt before starting thier engines. There's a reason why militarys have something called "Radio discipline". -
Explain to me how Sinop is considered OP?
Hanse77SWE replied to Floofz's topic in General Discussion
Then you're in the wrong place. Only you know how you play a ship and we can't help you. Look to yourself for the answers. -
Explain to me how Sinop is considered OP?
Hanse77SWE replied to Floofz's topic in General Discussion
I only have one random in her but 36.11% hit ratio says something about the guns. Also: If others do well in a ship that you suck in, then they must know/do something you don't. What can it be? -
At lower tiers there's the Ishizuchi. 27.5 kts (without SM-flag) and can outrun some of the cruiser she'll meet. Turret speed can go down to 36 s. (Same as Bismarck/Tirpitz at T8) 25 s. reload. Gneisenau at T7 32 kts. Turrets turn at 36 s. stock 26 s. reload. Hood is fast but has 30 s. reload. Other than that I mostly agree with what's been said here.
-
She does. 4X3 14'' guns.
-
"Guns of the NC"? Doesn't the "Cali" have 14'' guns?
-
Nope. Tried her out in co-op. Fast, nimble but slow turrets.

Unpopular opinion here but I believe that we all have a responsibility to keep an eye on what's around us. Not only where we shoot but also where we are. Am I in the line of fire of my teammates? If I turn, do I block anyone? Does that ship have torps? If yes, then perhaps I should stay away so he can shoot without hitting me. Are there "friendly" torps in the water? If "yes", how far away, from what ship and heading where? If I turn, can I run into them? Remember that getting in the way of teammates have two downsides. 1) If he shoot you lose HP and he turn pink, and 2) If he sees me and holds his fire then his torps/guns can't do anything to the enemies. I.E. we miss a chance to do damage to/kill enemy. I've lost count on how many time I've been forced to hold my fire just because some dodo on my team just have to drive infront of my guns. Or that I haven't been able to shoot torps to kill an enemy and that enemy goes on to kill one or two of my teammates. All because one on my team is in the "Danger-zone". I am NOT saying that we should be able to fire torps and "damned be anyone in that direction", but things are not all black or white and it doesn't always have to be 100% the fault of one player.

I did the whole 2nd stage in co-op in two days.

This time he was on your team. Next time he'll be on the red team making it easy for you. It works both ways you know.

If you are going to change a ships stats - please update the info in harbour.

Guess what? I did the math. (0.8002) x (1-0-0) x (0.05-0--0-0)=0.04001=4% One fire in 183 hits is 0.55%
