I wouldn't mind a coal-ship. Have close to 1/2 M and nothing to spend it on.

This is starting to get on my nerves, but this to shall pass. (This SS was taken yesterday.) -
Hamburg Dockyard: Directives Deadline Approaching!
Hanse77SWE replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
Yeah, the new directive came yesterday and I got halfway (in co-op) in less than four hours. Then I felt "Wait, got to have something to do tomorrow." -
Hamburg Dockyard: Directives Deadline Approaching!
Hanse77SWE replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
If events didn't have a timegate then we should have around 60 events active in the game right now, including five christmas-events. All things must come to an end, nothing lasts forever and it doesn't take 40 hours/week to do an event. -
Get 100,000 Free XP and 7.5 million credits!
Hanse77SWE replied to hamster9200's topic in Newcomers' Section
Mission for the Baltimore perma-cammo. If you have it you get 7.5M credits. And again I'm amazed over how few people read the info WG give us. https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/sales-and-events/missions-095-weekly-2/ -
Sort out the bot dispersion in coop
Hanse77SWE replied to DreadArchangel's topic in General Discussion
Try it in a slow CA or BB on the east side of the map. I've played over ten times as many co-op as you have. Trust me Pete. On this, I know more than you. Leave it at that. -
Sort out the bot dispersion in coop

Nope. When a game lasts 3-4 minutes you can't wait for anything or anyone. "You snooze, you lose." -

Sort out the bot dispersion in coop

I went middle on Shatter. All the bots went flanks. 0 dmg and a fat bill waiting at the end. -
Sort out the bot dispersion in coop
Hanse77SWE replied to DreadArchangel's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, it's very annoying when the game starts, you go full speed forward only to find that every bot on that side of the map ran away to the other side and now you have to spend the entire game going over there only to get there just as the last bot dies and you've done 2k damage and at the post-screen waits a bill for 40k credits for a game that didn't even give you a chance to do anything. -
Thank you! I needed some time off.

My idea for the Kitakami was that she wouldn't get any reload. 10x4 and then you're out of torps. I mean, how many fires 40 torps in a game? If you can't make it with 40 then you shouldn't play.

I've had thoughts about a permanent "Clan Brawl"-mode. At any time a clan-based team can get in queue to meet other clan-based teams. No rewards more than the usual randoms. Teamsize and tier could go on a randomish schedule. One day it's T6 5 vs. 5, the next T1 4 vs. 4, the next T10 7 vs. 7, and so on. A place for "casual competitive" so to say. Not too serious and not too casual. Clan Wars without the rat-race.

PLEASE, REMOVE FRIENDLY FIRE FROM COOP BATTLES
Hanse77SWE replied to Sigma2's topic in General Discussion
I would say the other way around. Shooter gets pink but the one who gets hit doesn't lose HP. But I also have experienced where the hit party have no idea what's going on around him and turns, and even chases, torps that were well outside the dange-zone. We're all humans. No one's perfect. Live and let live. But I have seen an upswing in bots firing torps straight at friendly ships for no reason at all. -
Which Class Of U.S. Cruiser Line Is Overall The More Effective And Fun To Play?
Hanse77SWE replied to Sir_Sinksalot's topic in General Discussion
Both. Case closed. -
MM is not the problem, just the symptom. The problem is the huge skill-gap between players. How can we "fix" that? A "good" player finds out about stuff. "Why did that happen?" "How does this work?" "What do I change to get a better result?" A "bad" player doesn't evolve or learn anything but rather "fails" his way to the top without knowing how or what he did. In most game there are "thresholds" that has to be crossed if you want to advance in the game. Like a boss that has to be defeated or a puzzle that has to be solved before you can move on. WoWs have nothing like this. I'd say: * A propper tutorial, pehaps broken up so you get a "lesson" each time you hit a new tier. You can't skip or bypass it and after each lesson there's a small, simple test you have to pass. * Skillbased requirements that has to be met before you move up to the next tier in each class. If you can't meet the requirements, then you can't move to the next tier in that class. How to meet the requirement? You lean and adapt. Example: Have a lesson about spotting, have a short, simple training room style mission you must pass. (The kind you have to be deaf, dumb and blind to fail.) Now you can start to play, let's say T4 DDs. To move up to T5 DDs you have to not only collect the XP but also do an average of X spotting over ten battles. This requirement only comes the first time you play a ship of that tier and class. If you've done it in a T-22, then you won't have to do it in the Nicholas or any other T5 DD. How to do with premium-ships? Easy! If you haven't met the skill-requirement for T8 BBs then you can't buy a T8 BB. Now some might say that WG will never do this because they'll lose money on it. But I think they might as well earn from it. Instead of a new player buying a T8 on the first day, he now will buy one T4 and one T6 before he gets to T8. More ships sold. How do we implement this then? Take two months without any new ships or big events. Everybody starts from T1. All your ships will still be there but you can't touch them untill you have done the skill-mission for that tier and class. (If you've sold all your, let's say, T4 cruisers there might be a need for some sort of Lend-Lease program.) When you've done the mission in you T1 cruiser all you T2 cruisers will be available. When the T2 mission is done all your T3 cruisers will be available and so on. For someone who has everything unlocked that means 29 skill-missions. There might even be a small reward after each mission done. Who knows? What if I get stuck at the T6 BB skill-mission but I have the T10 in port? Then you can choose to sell it or just let it sit there untill you can reach it. Look guys, this won't be easy and it sure as hell won't be painless, but if we want to "fix" this then we must be ready to endure some things. If WG keeps going the way they've gone so far, then more and more of the "serious" players will leave and WoWs will turn into one big kiddy-pool...with pee in it. We need to separate the wheat from the chaff. We can't do nothing and expect things to change and if WG implements something like this, then I'm prepared to do my part of the work.

I've been told that you get 3 000 doubloons. So 5€ "refund" for a ship that might cost 60 €.

[Poll] Did you get a ship from the 1st "Independence Day Random Bundles" roll (i.e. 1/131) for 1.500 Doubloons?
Hanse77SWE replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
No ship in the first one and I have no intentions of going down that rabbithole. On a side note... I have all the ships on the list so what would I get if a ship was the next bundle? Haven't seen anything about that. -
New line to be announced this week
Hanse77SWE replied to Miscommunication_dept's topic in General Discussion
I see no problems with the slow speed. Most BBs never move far from the spawn anyway. -
I compare under live conditions, as it's played. What's the point of comparing a build that will not be used?

Yeah, but you should always use the rangemod on the Texas but there's no reason to have it on the California so: Texas = 19 km. California = 19.9 km. NY with rangemod = 20.9 km. California with rangemod = 27.7 km. But what can you do at 27.7 km with 356 mm guns?
-
I just had a game in my Tallinn and the "Champis" on the other team gave me broadside at about 12 km. AP loaded. Took him for 12k. That's 1/4 of his HP gone in one salvo from a cruiser.

Weekly Combat Missions: Independence Day
Hanse77SWE replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
Yes, the cammo will be there waiting for you. @Fesvil On the other hand, we who have built up clans have a permanent discount 24/7 and 15% on 20M isn't all bad.
