To be fair, the Netherlands navy had peaked long before WW1 and was a minor navy for the time span envisaged in this game. The major protagonists were those mentioned in the Washington Treaty - the UK, USA, France, Italy and Japan. Obviously one has to add Germany. Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal and China were included in the Nine Power Treaty, though this was more to do with China than naval issues. I can see some premium Dutch ships though - De Ruyter obviously being one of them.

Of course there should be an Italian line - wonderful ships and distinctly different to other lines. From an importance point of view, they should really have come before the French but if Roma arrives soon, they will then have one of the best battleships in the game.

Mine is just over 50 - I only use chat for tactical reasons and don't play in divisions so don't get that much but very rarely reported. I compliment a lot and only report completely afk players and those who are abusive to others in chat.

If you have a 19 point captain, the extra xp he earns can be used to train other captains - now have at least five 19 point captains and use their xp to continually skill up other captains.

In random, I'll take the Fiji. In ranked, the Belfast is king. Much more boring but a good team ship.

At 11 and planning to get 10 for flag - won't be going any further as really don't care about enhanced modules and don't like playing Belfast nearly as much as Fiji which is better in random rather than ranked. I do like the better teamwork in ranked though.

I was in your team in the two New Mexico game - got as far as the cap with another dd who died just as I smoked up - I hoped he would spot so had to come out and the Gaede (who played very well) got me. The BBs did get tied up with a dd at the bottom of the map but why they didn't come up once they killed him I don't know. A bit of support to you or me would have been welcome - I thought we were winning initially then noted that a third of our team were south of A - we had killed a Cleveland and a bb before reaching the cap and a little BB support would have probably chased off the Gaede as we could spot him without being seen. I did compliment you though!

It took me ages to get my win rate over 50% - I was far too aggressive and if you die too soon, you don't pick up XP or damage. I therefore played ships which allowed me a bit of latitude for my stupidity - the St Louis is very good at this - not easy to citadel, your guns will always be pointing in the right direction as it has so many and it is slow , so you will find it more difficult to get miles ahead of your team. I played till I was acceptable in her - did my statistics not much good as the damage was not that high as no torpedoes and only small guns but my win rate went up. Once I started topping the score card, I moved on - US battleships - the New Mexico is great - same formula - good armour, lots of guns and not too quick! I started flirting with other lines and types - I now almost exclusively play RN cruisers - easy to kill, low calibre guns and fast - and am enjoying them massively. On over 4000 games and still not sick if it! I really only play tier 7 with an odd foray to tier 8 and rarely 9. I also have a Fujin to play my first game in in case of slow loading! Glad you enjoy playing - slow and steady would be my approach.

The whole point of the RN line was that it was to be different. There was an outcry at the lack of HE so the line does need something - you only get 6" guns and the armour is just enough to prime ap so without smoke they would all be useless. The Belfast is clearly something else but so is the MK. And Bismark secondaries are also something to fear. As was said before, the whole point is to look for weaknesses, and all ships have them, and exploit them. Better players seem to be able to get anything to work - some of us can suck in anything!

Just met xXx_Blogis_xXx in ranked - he in his Belfast and I was in mine on Neighbours. I am afraid I did notify my team that you were rather good and I also did get you as your smoke ran out with my HEAP, reducing your health a bit! It was a close battle and I noticed you sneaking into A as I sneaked into B late on. The rest of your team had mainly died by then so it was going to be tricky to do much. One of the more enjoyable fights - sorry I didn't say hello but did compliment a fellow forumite at the end!

Over 200 million - means I just run premium everything and don't worry - I don't play higher than tier 9 though, and usually stick at tier 7

I am completely unable to access the inventory. I do run the game on a Mac so do get some interesting issues at times but this one is new! I have loaded the updated game onto both my computers - the iMac didn't like it and had to be persuaded to take it eventually after a number of failures but the MacBook Pro loaded it easily - However all I get is the spinning WOWs logo sitting there and have to escape out. Not the worst thing that has ever vhappened to me but was going to relieve myself of a stack of useless camo that I will never use. Any thoughts?

I only play cruisers and I think the Belfast is OP - been top of the list in last three battles and I am really not very good. The Myoko seems powerless against me - only well played destroyers can attack in a decent way and the Atlanta. I agree with the thought that rank 10 and above should probably be tier 8. I am having fun but I don't think I would be in a Myoko.

Tried both - after a rocky start, won in both - Belfast is however completely OP - delayed fuse HE means you can melt almost anything, even Scharnhorsts, and it is quick with low detection. I think it is an unfair ship despite having one. Worked out the mechanics I think. Wish I could take my Fujin in though!

Clearly the ship was sinking - I don't know what effect scuttling charges would have made but the ship had already been destroyed after 30 minutes. What I was trying to say was that it really doesn't make any difference - as the ship was sinking, I imagine that all that was happening was that it was receiving more damage and more casualties so it would not have been unreasonable to abandon ship. I think we are probably really saying the same.

The battle started at 08.45 - the Bismark sank at 10.39. The crew did indeed scuttle her but she had lost the ability to fire back after 30 minutes. She was sinking due to uncontrollable flooding - the command took the entirely sensible decision to scuttle her so that more of the crew would survive. It is a huge shame that more did not survive as there were U-boats spotted in the area so the rescue was curtailed. Now you can with some justification say it was not a fair fight as the Bismark was crippled, but they were sailing not against a couple of battleships but against the Royal Navy with any forces it could muster, which included the aircraft that crippled her. One of the few ways that WoWs mimics reality is that the best fight to get into is an unfair one, as long as you have the advantage. So in essence I would agree that the Bismark was a superior battleship to any the British had that day, but she was inferior to the Royal Navy as there was only her up against the Home Fleet and she, not surprisingly, lost. Any other verdict would be a rewriting of history.

Ah - same problem as me! Not tried the clan button but can't get to the inventory either - same problem. Did the same of both of my Macs.

To be fair, although your side had collapsed, you had clearly done a fair amount of damage so most of the enemy were on very low health. Our CV was also more effective despite having what appeared to be an AS saipan against him.

And after thinking I never saw any forumites, just had Admiral_Nelson on my team in his division - not sure what happened, but after sharing pleasantries, his division clearly ran into trouble and we looked like getting thoroughly spanked. However a rather good Myoko saved our bacon and I finished the evening with a win - no credit to me - capped A in Fault line and then died after sinking wounded Fiji as I had been a bit too aggressive! But happily off to bed!

Just had EsaTuunanen in his Gremy - I told the team he was good and to target him but he ran riot through them. I did a quick circuit into their cap, but thought he was about to cap us, shot up to find out it was the Nicholas, who died, killed a couple of their BBs threatening to cap and a CA and had just torped the Graf Spee, when he spotted me in my Fujin in my cap and summarily executed me! If the team had only killed him, I think we might have won but it clearly wasn't to be!
