    As long as there is still an option to let them be edited out of the game - the Kongo clones and Myoko clones simply as appear as Kongo and Myoko at present, I cannot see a particular issue. The destroyer with slightly odd armament is based on a factual event and although this is a little odd, I have no real problem with it. The Fujin and Kamikaze are both a bit odd but that wouldn't stop me using the Fujin - I personally would prefer to be able to make it look normal but I spend more time looking for targets than gagging looking at the daft camo. I am sure that WG wouldn't want to alienate a sizeable proportion of their player base. If others like the anime content, I don't want to remove their fun, except when using the Fiji's 6" guns!

    If I get a good luck message at the beginning, I will reply - but not to F keys - I don't regard pressing one button as particularly polite and never use them. I will respond to a proper message especially from the other side with a proper mesage. To my team, I use chat for information, and sometimes apologies and condolences! And at the end for congratulations! Besides, Thank You using the British voice gives a message from what sounds like a child molester!

    Usually 6 I think but seems longer. Play in Co-Op - low tier - it goes very quickly and you are less likely to be rammed etc.

    I have great sympathies with the OP. The Fiji is great and by far my favourite ship - the Edinburgh more of the same except worse matchmaking so a bit more serious. I cannot for the life of me get used to the Neptune though. She is so big and has a massive citadel. It is alright saying play like a DD, but this thing is huge! The guns are great and the AA brilliant but I live in constant fear of being deleted - far more cautious in her and hence rubbish. The Fiji is like a small sports car (something I know about! ) nippy and able to get in and out of tricky spots. It lacks some fire power but stings hard enough. The Neptune feels like a bus in comparison. I am determined to improve and will not get the Minotaur until I am better but my appetite for playing her is limited. She is however much better than the Baltimore which singlehandedly put me off T9 for months!

    Just had my best run in the Fiji - 4 battles - first one awful - apart from myself and a DD, hardly anyone came further south than the b line against a good clan division and we were spanked hard. The next, top by miles but my team dissolved. The a good close win - again top but lots of support - and finished with this - nearly went to walk dogs and glad I didn't!! 2853 base XP. And nearly got wiped out by a Graf Spee 3 minutes in! Great fun!

    The fiji is great at chasing DDs out of smoke - you ca see them wetting themselves as you hydro them and then rake them with the forward turrets! Of course if they have a decent team backing them up, it can get hot - but luckily most of their BBs will be miles away!

    The range is a bit odd but not a huge worry - the turret traverse is the real pain. Luckily the rudder shift and turning circle are great but this does mean you can show more broadside than you want. Playing against Bismark is little fun - stopped playing some time ago as RN CLs are more effective.

    Agree with you - I play a few games in IJN destroyers but otherwise just the Fiji, Belfast and Edinburgh. Fiji is my favourite - better matchmaking than Edinburgh and you don't feel quite so dirty as when sailing the Belfast! Also seem to be better at it - probably because I can repair after doing something really stupid!

    I really only want signal flags - the odd bit of free XP is always welcome - the camo is of no use to me at all and I now have 79 reserve places , 57 of which are free! With the best will in the world, I am never going to use 57 places - on Mac so cannot easily get to inventory so not even convinced these have any value!

    I would suggest that spotting damage could be rewarded with signal flags - no real cost but would encourage team play.

    I use RDF on my Fujin - more useful skills on RN cruisers. On the Fujin, it tells me where to escape to!

    When you first start playing them, they are awful - and stay awful until you get to the Leander - that is OK but compare it to the specs on the proposed French cruisers and, meh. The Fiji is a beast and the Belfast is simply OP, especially in ranked. Edinburgh is basically a slightly bigger Fiji but with worse MM and Neptune is just too big and needs a different play style. Not bought the Minotaur so can't comment. Emerald is so bad that I sometimes sail her just for the challenge! Usually stick in PvE with her though!

    I saw you pink in the Iowa - disastrous match - ate a torpedo early in my Fiji and you were left to try to deal with someone capping the base and were flanked by a Kurfurst - friendly BB was having a relaxing cruise in top left hand corner - which I could tell was not quite the strategy you thought was best! Hope your colour has faded!

    13% - what is said above is correct though - it does depend on which ship you are in. Fujin - 16% - Shiratsuyu - 9% - the latter creates a wall of torpedoes that is used as much for area denial as anything. You don't expect them all to hit. The Fujin has shorter range and twin launchers so more precise. Atlanta has 16% hit rate but using them means you are in big trouble!

    It won't if you are on a Mac - I got to it by loading windows onto Parallels - the game is unplayable as too slow but you can get at the inventory - you are not missing that much - made a few million credits but already had over 200 million so not worth the effort of loading WoWS which took literally hours.

    Met Leo_Apollo11 on Neighbours yesterday - he was in his Fuso and I was in the Belfast - had just come off two defeats when I had been top of the team in both of them so played very cautiously - died very near the end defending B from a Gneisenau who rushed me and died seconds later - Leo offered good guidance to the team and we won at a canter. Both ended middle ranked but pretty even scores all round so a good team effort.

    I do think it would be possible - sat navs often allow you to record a collection of words and phrases and can manage quite complex instructions. For what we require, there are relatively few commands though I imagine we would get sick of the repetition of any 'amusing' phrases quickly so a relatively vanilla collection would probably be best. Maybe a forumite collaboration?!

    The worst bit is where he says 'I owe you one' - he sounds like a child molester! I keep the British voices as mainly play RN cruisers but that in particular makes me shudder! Shame we can't do our own stock phrases - although one's own voice could grate after a while!
