    (watch a little bit after the hummer part) I know its not from a current version (pretty old actually) and the CV deserved _some_ damage for being cought standstill/slow moving (and also loosing ALL the involved planes without question), but lets recap shall we: 1 x T 10 Montana, undamaged probably fully AA speced and focusing on a group 1 x T 10 Hakuryu, undamaged also probably focusing one group 1 x T 8 North Callie, undamaged probably fully AA speced and focusing on a group VS 2 Squads of T 10 torpedo bombers, flying full middle finger DIRECTLY over the T 8 BB without a care and ofc well inside the other ships AA bubbles. = 1 bomber shot down BEFORE the drop and 6 in total - while oneshotting that CV. Damn! those 6 planes planes lost out of a mere 130+ sure hurt that midway. That teamplay and shared AA certainly paid of! Hey I can get 6 floatplanes on some of my ships with superintendent and premium consumable too - I offer them all to have the enemy carrier insta-die at the beginning of the battle - everybody seems to think thats a good trade anyway. Like I said out of version, but this sums the damage whoring so perfectly up, but heavens help if CV get to do something else (and get rewarded for that) aside from damage whoring.
  2. I will stop the p2w comments, when they stop the p2w - should be a fair deal? Its P2W in its purest form. Its even in the spelling. Pay 2 win - simple a that. Pay to win games, ships - doesnt matter. The very heart of the concept is either to achieve the ridiculous or open your wallet. No problem (aside from a little disappointment) in them making all the stuff available after the Event in the store - thats selling things. Support WG all you want ... and why the detour with diamonds? We already have doubloons to make people forget they are spending real money, dont we? You want to buy doubloons, to buy premium time, to get diamonds to spend on the stuff you want to obtain? Fine since you love detours, I have a packet that needs to go to my neighbour, be a dear and take a detour through China ...... and be glad its just the neighbour because the next city would require a roundabout on Alpha Centauri .... thats how those XP mission progress. Want the seal lion flag? Go ahead and just buy it, just dont try to put a different name tag on it in events like this. and btw I can tell for a fact of at least one case in which all that p2w holds some one back from supporting WG by spending money on p2w stuff. Only the port slot sale recently was finally a case of something not p2w being sold. .... and finally: I have to really say that post like that remind me to dispense my salt at WG. Creating a divide between the player is a nice side effect to get them to open their wallet, for it is a all to easy way out of "discrimination". And no I am not affected, my missions are again all done, but I am not that "oh its only affecting someone else, than its ok" kind of guy. btw: like promised, some salt - since the bar has been raised on the XP mission: So, I think of the past Screens only 1 from, again, only 1 user is still above the new bar - the rest needs to l2p and carry harder since its so easily and regularly done. (Where are the cruiser and battleships submissions - both are "fast" on T8+ and can cap? double-) _________________ In the end its their Event and they can expect to hold it in a way they deem right, as well as they can expect comments on their chosen path.

Now with those high tier carrier that are admittedly not so manoeuvrable, but are in possession _commandable fighter squads_ they suddenly need defensive fire - and a 2 minute long that is? How come? WASD suddenly not good enough? just shoot down 10 planes and get sunk, totally teaches the other carrier a lesson. I could come to term with CV owning BBs, but the fact that they also shi7 all over Cruisers and destroyers while being virtually untouchable themselves just god damn breaks the deal for me. Most immediate changes, that should reward more than damage whoring by CV at the expense of EVERY other class: - game lost for your side: your carrier auto dies. (repair and cred gain see below) - no more situational awareness skill for CV. (or at least doesnt work for spotted-by-DD anymore) - lesser plane reserves for all CVs. (pick where when and what to attack instead of rape everything that is not a Cleveland or two tiers above you - like it is now) - Creds and XP for spotting a DD, even more if the DD then gets shots by allies. (obvious one) - command distance (radio): very close or very far planes (in terms of distance to the home carriers) are subject to vastly reduced performance. Obviously improves steadily over the tiers/ and with optional moduls/skills (choices!) - no more floatfighter (better spotting plane but still no offensive capabilities) - greatly nerfed secondaries on CV - they _should_ die to a close DD without a question, if catched without help. - greatly enforced AA for all ships BUT AA and XP rework as follows: AA strength gets, like it is now, reduced by HE impacts plus (new new new) fires (unless repaired ofc). Every ship that reduced the AA strength of the target hit by a CV then shares the rewards of the damage done with CV. (Teamwork! and obviously finally needs an AA strength indicator ingame) - since there is more than constant damage whoring for CVs now: better reward overall for damage done. Normalised repair costs since they actually can die now ....

Winning this one certainly was my biggest achievement in the recent past: (yeah not form today, but I didnt play today or yesterday anyway so its OK :p) Yeah I know it doesnt look so impressive, and I had even a Gnevny game on the very same day with, I think, 1800 xp (without capping) but this one .... well I sent it to Loran: Bigger damage numbers dont outweigh a very intense game. ^^
  5. hm couldnt play yesterday and today - so there is that 100 k mission gone for me already. I finished the last weeks one on the very last day, so no way without p2w. Kinda curious if they really will raise the XP bar for the single XP mission even higher tomorrow. Anyway, my salt dispensers are ready - just in case.
  6. guess what I had to say after this BS: Lets see: - Its from 9-something pm on a Weekend which I still consider prime time. - Its a T 8 match but with a good amount of T 6-8 ships so no excessive-high-tier-Yamato-whatever-excuse. - One side has "only" 10 tiers in ships more. - One side has "only" 2 ships total more. - Ons side gets more Battleships. - One side gets more Destroyers. - The map is Ocean with the 3 caps. - The whole MM would still be BS (but less), but apparently only if the two division-free Kievs are on side a totally balanced 2:1 in terms of total numbers of DD, 2:1 in torp DDs and 2:1 in terms of Gun DDs can be reached ..... ... on a domination map ofc. I especially love when one side has MORE and BETTER battleships + MORE destroyers on top, because WG is not able to figure out that shitty cruisers in this game (generally speaking) cant carry a match, even if their life would depend on it.

There is also sort of a summery and and a link to the FAQ on page 1 post 1 on in this thread - so you need to read exacltly like 2 lines and not even a complete post to get to the FAQ ... .... and if you question is not answered there - there is always this thread.

(coming from someone with way more CA and BB games ...) €3: The recent change also makes any TS conversation quite similar to "Lets call our friends" whenever the topic of SA comes up.

Well, Loran gets my replays for free (if he wants or needs them) and not one of those "collaborators". (I think that collaborator part was Gaijin, but its still hilarious)

  13. aww.... just get a T8 ship, 5 caps and a Kraken on the side, 3,8 k base xp - no problem. (to bad we cant use the diamonds for betting anyway... that would be awesome, but the European Soccer Cup only starts at the 10th of June)
  14. The Information that something is happening at all, is way more than we had before. I can empathize and understand (esp. the part on non disclosure before hammer-fall) , but you also have take the user view into account: - For now we only had the information that identified aim-mod users are actually not punished in anyway (It was in a RU translation from Carno, if my recollection doesnt fail me). - I personally ran into a Teamkiller (no naming here) multiple times - and every time he TKed me or someone on our team. That guy had/has (minus) - 150 "destroyed by other means" -> to much for "just" accidents. Reporting apparently didnt do anything as I looked that guy up periodically but he was still playing ... and TKing if I met him. I understand that you recently (and finally!) tackled the TKer problem with harsher repercussion, but you have to imagine the view you are creating on the boting/afking: With the above two paragraphs in mind, why would one think you would punish/ban someone if the aim-mod-users and TKers just walk free? Escpecially when game after game is filled with their presence? Thats a devastating picture ... In the end I think it would really serve you and us as community well if we get some sort of information on this matter (and ofc others^^) more regularly. Even a simple table with the body count for sanctioned/banned accounts would be on the order of infinity magnitude better, simply as of yet we have zero. If you would rather not communicate anything concerning aim-mod-ussage, fine, just leave it out and me it like this: "We banned in the time frame of the last month 500 accounts and sanctioned a further 800 for violation of the Eula such as: excessive AFKing/boting, team killing, misbehaviour in chat, as well as other reasons." Communication on EU is key, and it has gotten better, I acknowledge that! I mean, look at this event: We have actual Red-Shirt presence and feedback in the thread and everything just works out better as well as a nicer atmosphere! about that mission: thx for the official statement on that matter.
  15. This does count, for today. (and this week, pray that they dont raise the bar to 3k next week or you have to carry harder. ) So guys, where are the other screens? A lot of good players here, 7 days into the event already ..... and only one player to "carry" you? (also cg on that result)
  16. Players only turn pink/white again between matches. If a player with 1 kill TKs he is even back to 0 again, so its not always possible to spot the TKers when you didnt witness the act (like out of render distance). The give away is that the amount of total kills and the added sum of each player individually dont add up ..... but you still need to figure out the culprit. €: For the 1 TK rule that is. Excessive shooting (multiple salvos) at your teammate can turn you pink even during battle, but for the "accidents" I experienced the above on the test server.

  18. Has the new TK rule gone from one extreme to the other? Even Pinkie Pie says: Being pink is your warning. Do a few games without team damage and get your normal colour back. Do a teamkill after that again and you are, again, only pink aka warning.

    Yep, thing with training room is that it is not always available (server load) or compatible with the game version (patching) ..... right now I think its incompatible with one of my other mods. So in total there is a need for such a thing _readily_ available.

    Yes I do (and you will see why when you check the acc that pic belongs too), but you apparently you got the wrong connection between the first part of the post and my edit: First goes on the hate part, and I still dont understand where that came from ...... and yes I am that co-op player. So why would I hate on people playing co-op (and I dont see it anywhere in proximity to the post claiming hate on PVE players ...) the edit stays by itself, and I can give you an example: players who immediately buy a high tier premium ship -> at least stay in co-op, plz, and acquire the very basics ... and hopefully more. ......... and yes sometimes those co-op matches are a turkey shoot. Sometimes not, because the team is so bad. (depends also on map) No problem in playing WITH bots AGAINST bots. I have to do that all the time in PvP as well. No honestly no problem with that. I played a few early morning games (Amagi or generally high tier) and got only bots, or maybe 1 human on my side ..... and just a warning: The "friendly" bots teamkill without a care or mercy by second row torping ... at least that part is a excellent replication of the situation in PvP. exactly. It would be even better if I could set up my own co-op match (within limits): Me and and two or three bots against an stronger opposing force instead of mirroring.

If you read my previous posts I totally acknowledge that: - play destroyers (1 class out of 4), - high enough so you get enough XP for your actions (in your case T 6) - hope for a dominaton map (thats 50 % of all games ?) - (get lucky and) cap at least 3 time by yourself, as well as do some damage - hope your team/the enemy team to allow the above and still: Its not good enough for this weeks mission as it was as "lowly" 2689 xp game. Not enough for this weeks mission without premium as it is 2750 XP. I am now waiting for those 2750+ screens (1 per day will do) since they are done very easily, as that Fletcher game demonstrates ;) €: You know what, no p2w premium ships just for fun, too. I can even provide some screens from my own destroyer game that (barely missed) I can tell from that without help, that you need to do either a crapton of damage and cap 2 times (full), OR 3 full caps and some damage - obviously things get a bit easier in the higher tiers (in terms of xp earned).

  23. Thx, and I mean it. Everybody can overlook stuff or be wrong (I certainly am more often than enough ^^) and I can see getting used to those big numbers with premium or the times 3 from the weekend. I also have it completed - so I am not (yet? if it goes higher again ...) affected, but still it shows the need to constantly give WG a not so friendly reminder of what they are actually doing ....

    What's going on with PVE?

    First we had short but incredible hard video games - and that was bullshi7. Today we have a lot of (again very short) incredible easy video games - and that is also bullshi7. .... but in between there was a invention called "difficulty setting", and throughout the time there were game who got it right. ... but alas, this game is still work and progress, and their _might_ be some co-op update in the future that incorporates this decades old invention. Honestly, dont get fooled by the "released" status of this game. Its a total construction site, and I understand them working on 10 things at once and putting off the not most pressing issues ..... (dont we want new ships? and other stuff?). Still, I think the stronger bots were good, to not give players such a rough transition when they try their co-op grinded T 5 ship the first time in PvP ....
