I do when you explain conclusive and exhaustive why I (apparently ) only should report ... - cowards. - bots. - afker. - teamkillers. - [edited] - racists/insulters and general chat [edited] - idiots that you tell what will happen and x minutes later they are dead, died exactly the way described x mins earlier. - [edited] - saboteurs. - parasites. - noobs. - etc .... only on a loss? (and no: because my daily allowance of reports would last longer isnt an acceptable answer. ) Mind that I play a lot of co-op so I am used to newbs and only in extreme cases I even feel any urge at all to report them. Noobs of all the flavours above are a different matter though. €: Here you go, and have an example: Now tell me exaclty why I shouldnt report the sorry [edited]of the idiot just because I was able to eke out a victory despite the ods ....

While I disagree, there is Aslains Modpack and it contains a mod that brings back the icons from from the first PT-Round. So install and enjoy. ;)

quoted post removed Depends. I often win DESPITE my team and report the worst idiots and offenders no matter the general outcome of the match. I can understand them telling when there is a moment of relative peace and rather assured victory, instead of when you are busy eking out the advantage you going to need in order to win; and that has to be great enough so even the idiots on your team cant be effective enough with throwing their ships and victory away.

at T 5? You bet! (especially since this ship does turn like a dead whale!) Lots of still rather new(and/or bad) players and hell, eg the in-the-mm-spread-Wyoming is such a trollish shotgun that even I felt the need to run a test in co-op if it isnt better to merrily spam HE away and just generally aim instead of going for the citadel .... Hm cant comment on that, yeah it was easy to cit with everything, but I didint play her recently outside of co-op; and I admit bot-fire is hardly anything to judge from. On the other hand WG buffing Kirov even more because of the Flag is more than plausable. Hover-berg is, since its now slightly lower in the water, but Königsberg easy as ever. ........ and is probably the most OP and broken ship in the entire game, tied with the Impregnat0r. I call them hidden repair fees for driving a T 7 with the preferential MM of a T 5.

Thanks for the heads up. I have to say, since I was mostly playing WoWs anyway, I didnt feel the urge to update. (You know never change a running system ^^) This to give people a reference frame at which the change occured, or what driver they can fall back to, if the feel the need: I do use the old 364.72 from end of March and my bits are still: 0x42480005.

There is Kirov which gets citadeled by HE and then theres Königsberg which outright detonates ....... on t5 alone.

Honestly: If it doesnt work for you, I would suspect a error in your client and delete the preference file and start adjusting your setting from scratch with a new one ... €: The only issue I have is that Minimap with names apparently only works without ..... -

True, but could a 75 % Fuso already have taken enough damage, lets say to the bow from torps to reach stage 2 depletion? I have a vague remembrance of some of my threads (some details might be wrong, but I am not gonna search now): - In one the amount of displayed hits/pens on the left side didnt match up with the calculated pens on the right side (per target). So I wouldnt be exactly convinced that "displayed pens" are counted as pens the same way everywhere in this game. - In one thread I did hit a full hp NY BB at the very beginning and damaged a section of the conning tower with the first shot so much that the reg-pen damage was actually BELOW a over-pen. Turn out that very first hit was already subject to depletion. So its unlikely but not implausible, that your shells did hit on a fully depleted small space, more specific than just "bow" -In one (other) thread I did hit a full HP (some ramming damage) NY BB at the match start over the hill on Guadalcanal - that was invisible at the time of shell impact, result screen registered (generally) a pen, but when it reappeared it had lost something like 80 hp from my shell. Go pic you bug , but to tell whether or not its intentional, you would need to visit your own "secrete documents archive" - and find the WG-Game-Design-Plan there. -
They didnt. You cant citadel a Murmansk with Omaha AP plunging down on the deck, but you can vice versa. au contraire! The Omaha and the Murmansk used to be played with different hulls: Omaha B + AFT and Murmansk which is a Omaha C. So since only the Omaha C is viable without AFT, Omaha got a really hefty nerf "recently" while Murmansk was left undisturbed with better torps, better ruddershift and turning radius and better AP - which is also damn important since WG made HE useless around October last year. All that, while advantages on Omaha side are hardly there - p2w at its finest! Like ....... dunno the fighter plane instead of spotter plane? (So if I put the float-fighter on my Amagi voluntarily can I get Yama pen on her guns? ), like 200 m better concealment from planes only? ..... that sort of things .... ......... but yeah I am contemplating myself and I do blame Live for it.

You can use both Auras to buff your party and curses against the enemy. Nah Yamato either gets (slower reload for Yama and more dam/pen received - what not to love about that) if in a BB, or if in a cruiser. - default curse by which old Albany was infinitely affected. - every spotted destroyer ever if your team is not composed of idiots. - default curse by which all players and especially battlesheeps suffer. - acquired Skill. - this is WGs default state. ...... I could go on forever. ok, ok I stop before the Vuk decends on me ... have mercy on a old man making a joke and having a little fun. -

Oh that made me seriously laugh! Dont worry I am now €: NOT (FFS NOT, I wrote the opposite of what I intended to) /€ laughing at you, but I always had evidence. I was sometimes wrong as well, but I only picked snapshots of BS in this game of which I could point a finger and ask serious question backed up by replays, pics and all the info from all sources, including fellow forumits! Now guess what ...... all those threads and months later all the crap is: - still un-fixed, - only (sometimes) explained though user effort - or should I say some crutches we came up from those situations above? - not a single red shirt in the threads to be seen. - commented on maybe/only through some obscure channels like ru-translations. Sorry I am to disgruntled to expect WG now feeling the "need" to explain themselves. At best they gonna fix the mess when they feel like it and then write about it like it was just recently discovered.

I can help you there: somewhere in the "Info from Ru"-thread there is a translated confession from WG concerning this being indeed a bug. From there also hails the explanation with the turrets + their barbettes as a possible cause ...... here we only have funnels. So far this bug is either very prone to fluctuation, for SS-type pens dont usually trigger it, or this is something different. well anyway: detonater threshold of Myogi is 33 mm. - Funnels would be 10 mm - if they count at all since they get overmatched, well at least increased thickness due to angle can be ignored due to overmatch. - Deck (outer) would be 13 mm - another overmatch see above. -"Armored Deck" above the citadel is 37 mm - is not overmatched and is de facto not completely penetrated by the AP shell, or else it would be a citadel right away. So if my calculations are correct the shell detonated IN/ON the armored deck of the citadel - and it had to or it wouldnt be able to reach the detonator threshold with only those 2 outer pens. So maybe detonation on/in the citadel roof are a problem too ...... who knows? There are 2 flavours of this bug: 1. reg. pen and overpen. 2. cit. pen and reg. pren. Ofc there is also still the clusterfu<k of various depletions so you need to be very lucky, have the right circumstanced and be very informed (or have forum help ) to figure out what exactly happened, but as a general rule of thumb you take 133 % of the damage that you would have taken instead. Kind of like this: (bonus point to whoever gets it ) To show you the ugly reality of this bug: Which is the most fragile ship-class in this game (without a detonation) when attack by same tier shellfire? Wrong, a cruiser! Ships like Königsberg/Nürnberg can die to only 2 shells from a same Tier battleship. You know how it is: cruiser can never be to shitty, to vulnerable or take enough damage in WGs eyes ....... You cant ofc track this crap every game, but honestly the T 2 Umikaze has usually more "effective HP" than the shitty mid-tier cruisers. Try pouring HE shells into a Gremlin (since you will bounce when he is angled) - that thing can take DOZENS of those shells ....... Other ship classes are affected too, but they are either the plague of the skyes and off the frontlines, dont have a citadel at all or very well protected ones + gigantic health pools + repair. ... and this has been going on from months! Is it really such a unreasonable expectation/demand to have them have this ! game and balance changing mechanic/bug ! fixed by now, when they did just introduce this new ribbon system? -
+ Just another conformation that I didnt suddenly enter a weird everything-is-the-opposite-Universe, as everything is in tidy order. (and @ AO: I read it with that kind of voice-tone in mind - which basically sums up my own initial reaction too) On topic: Mod YOUR client files to display TO YOU whatever you want, but KEEP OUT of what OTHERS ARE FORCED TO SEE.

So you came back, apparently didnt bother to check on any changes and when the enemy CV (you know the only active counter to a CV anyway) outplayed you decided to open thread seeking for sympathy instead of advice? ... yeah thats not really an impressive accomplishment. So 2 things: 1. You can use the strafe ability too (and since you know about it: spread out the planes, the map is bigger than 1 screen, ya know?), l2p and outplay the enemy CV next time (and hope the UI doesnt screw you over). 2. Only "Sympathy" I can give you - and oh so very fitting, since you are playing CV.

The damage model, or whatever it is called, is completely broken and always was since I joined in OBT. (latest example)-> http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/55593-wargaming-your-damage-model-is-completely-broken-after-months/page__fromsearch__1 This, I think, is one of the main reasons for WG to not have users with all the necessary tools to actually see whats going on, because you then you could pinpoint and ask: _wth_ is going on?! Fix it! So without a informed user base the OP might just think he had an unlucky round with losta bounces/overpens and the game experience overall is within the expected/possible boundaries.

Kawachi is a piece of shi7 because: - slow as fu<k. - inaccurate as fu<k. - range of a T2 cruiser. honestly the guns all around was the only redeeming thing ...... Also no Battlecruisers: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

The Tirpitz is "rare" as well ... but can be seen basically all the time if the game tier is at least 8; also how often has it been for sale now? Yeah "rare" like "balanced russian premiums" ...

I dont discriminate. Everyone that has played with me on TS knows anyway that I am Flaming .... and cursing the invertebrates on both teams. (but thx for the heads up. I remember the interview with this guy, he said it was a set up ... I think. You know how it is: I understand stuff like "I mak hier niet lacken", but there is a reason we all use english on the TS. )

I think a chain of event somewhat like this happened: 1. Art department designs a "improvement" and asks around (like other WG guys, STs and so on) - results are "mixed" *1) but since the money is blown ....... lets wait for further feedback like from the PTS. 2. Results from the forum and the PTS pour in and are "mixed" *1) as well. 3. After thousand of people tell you it looks like *1) and only Greg from artdesign, his boss and a few other in-laws like it; but not the users apart from occasional stray: It now gets "another Revision" to not look like *1). *1) : Some , but WG has been improving, thats for sure.

Perfect music choice in the video - I only herd: "NOOB NOOB NOOB" follow by some more "mmmh mmmh NOOB NOOB NOOB". .... and this video shows perfectly why 20+ km sniping is a thing. Its not because of the repair costs - is because of invertebrate noobs on all tiers. Lets de-construct, shall we? 1. Cyclone suddenly turns the light out and despite the cap being lava noob-bbs are aproaching (you know nothing to shoot randomly lob shells at). 2. Iowa gets sort of a free pass because what do you know? He might got surprised or overlooked or whatever -> In dubio pro n00bio. 3. Montana SEES a enemy Montana with the guns pointing at his broadside during the reload. Also our Montana couldnt shoot the Iowa anymore for he would need to expose his broadside AND on top shoot at a now angled retreating enemy. This guy has _ZERO excuse_ so what does our hero do? Change speed, try to angle? No its herp derp all along waiting for the full broadside salvo. 4. Yamato, you know the 3rd guy in that column that saw 2 ships getting rekt right before his eyes. He has "negative excuse value" if such a thing is possible. Does he try some wasd hack? No, ofc not, because Yamato invincible, 3 battlesheep flock invincible angainst only 1 ship, because herp derp, .... So they usually do the same stupid things, but on 20 km because there the rng doesnt let you properly punish them (and yes I know we need RNG or bow-on would be they only thing viable ALL THE DAMN TIME). Hell at 20 km those 3 sheeps could bombard "our" Monty into submission and maybe only loose 1 sheep due to their noob-ish way. The same goes for cruiser HE shells and some ololo random citadel(s) in return and also for torpedo spreads from dds. Hell even CVs will only target the ships closer to the front lines so they are not the answer (they never are anyway; or only in the questions like: who should we shoot at, or: what to nerf? ) ! Thats the reason the invertebrate cowards dont come closer, not the repair costs; those only "reinforce" the negative experience. ! On the other side its moment like this, where the inner grand inquisitor can come out and play - literally punishing unsuspecting scrubs, is what we play this game for. .... or watching clips form said occasions and doing this:
