    You are already describing the reality I get when I select a T 6 or higher cruiser ... Therefore I "earned" it. ^^ (also the Bayern ...... damn that grind was so painful. I chose to go full co-op on that thing, because when you can roll the shells onto the enemies deck instead of using the guns, you only miss 50 % of your shots ....) Those high tier battleships .... even the bots will, thanks to dispersion and shitty citadels from all angels + ridiculous regpen damage + the usual multipen bugs, just kill you over time if the top tier battlesheeps dont pull their own weight. Another good facet of this change: Now they at least pay full repair for 20 minutes of "hide and never seek".

    I do run no-anime from JapLaplance (I think), and Nagasaki as Yoko-Ono replacer. Only thing left are the girls voices and some ARP-Effects (like the cell shading smoke/fires/etc) ..... (Believe it or not: I dont run any Pony-Mods. Although that might change ........ )

    I disagree with this part. First: The enemy bots attack. Second: I do the same. Lets take Faultline. Usually going right in the middle at the start is suicidal. In co-op I do that regularly and melee the crap out of 5 ships at once. I die regularly but I do take enough bots with me so the newbies, noobs, cowards, afkers and parasites still can win. Easy win if I actually get some support. And with 5 ships all angling against you and throwing torps form close range, it IS a challenge. Tough luck for the damn cowards that choose to hide behind the islands in the spawn for the first 5 minutes, because there is nothing left for them .... another reason why I think the economy change was needed, although not completely thought through - WG-Style. Results like this are not uncommon: (these arent the best, I randomly grabbed some I knew werent atrocious. Usually they show a high amount of 2ndary battery hits ...... that did close to no damage ^^ - but hey, pretty, pretty fireworks ). So yeah in co-op I get faster paced action, and can play more games in same time-frame. Rewards suck ofc - now more than ever for anything above T 5. Best of all: I do have influence on the outcome of the battles, and I actually like that the cowards, parasites and a$$-sniffers more often than not run empty.

  6. Run into VC381, thankfully on the green team. He joined us in TS and since we had a free spot after the game, we drafted him on the spot. Needles to say its always good to run into a forumite on the green team, and even better to team up together. Well this is my profile pic/avatar for ts and she is female after all.

    The bots actually attack. No matter how much they may suck otherwise, with that they are already way ahead of most players in a T 8+ game. Also I feel like, me playing co-op suits my "skill-bracket"; it definitely goes easy on my nerves at least. The problem are those that are playing pvp while in reality they should just uninstall; not playing co-op but really just uninstall.
  8. Some consolation, I recently stumbled upon this one animated: Was planing on co-op only since I was actually able to finish the Ashigara mission in time, but then I got "drafted". Played 9 pvp battles today, won 8. Its not like I did an exceptional carry today ...... I honestly suppose all the morons and parasites are now the plague of ranked. Hell we even won that game where some assfudge in a Mahan decided intentionally throw a full torp spread in one of my division mates right at the start in the spawn. He got pink and died to the damage reflect ...... I was not like the teams were brillant ....... just ..... not ...... THAT bad. Also there was this game: Less than 800 base xp on a win, and I am on top even .... We held the enemy lemming train and our other flank capped. Nothing wrong with that, only with the enemy team, but I still feel there should be some sort of additional prize if you win and the enemy fails abysmally like that ........

    Nono I think there is a misunderstanding. I read that not 40 % of the players are exclusive, but 40 % of the games are played in co-op. I mean look at me, I play both worlds ...... so in WGs eyes I would count for neither since I am not exclusive player. I really would like to know what WG Vision for PVE not just co-op, is.

    Both are wrong so far (although I like them ^^), although the "right solution" is also right inside Aboos post (that should make it easy;)). Remember who you are dealing with: My spelling and writing is bad as it is in english, .... or french ..... imagine what I could do in hieroglyphs! So dont be too disappointed if its not some very deep poetry .... So its something simple ..... one word ... or concept. For the impatient: This. Expect of for the making-a-mess-part. Its not like WG needs any encouragement on that part. Thats the thing I dont get. 40 % of the games are in co-op. Lots of premium time, ships, consumables and flags are burnt in co-op, yet WG is treating the players like they are leprous. I get my handy list out there, of things co-op specific: Last year (starting with obt): "Men of Emden". End. This year, so far: "Rise of the Machines" as a co-op exclusive and the rest at least doable in co-op. And now we have this economy change thats not so bad in theory, but completely screwed over co-op players. They could have easily avoided that by imposing a upper limit to the repair-cost in co-op that is more in line with the also very hard upper limit you can possibly earn in co-op.

    They implemented multi-cluster-f... - even tough I say the clusterf... was always part of this game. Also not being albe to play ranked on a weekend probably saved a lot of peoples sanity - you should be grateful.

    I am kind of a renaissance person - but yeah I take some amateurs interest in astronomies and ofc space exploration. I am still so pissed that Phobus Grunt failed miserably .... not for the fail per se, but the missing out on scientific and human knowledge gain. I mean there is not even something planned. Its a miss, and now nobody can say when the next chance will come. Take Rosetta for example. When that probe launched we had some shitty diffuse photos of the haley comet and I think tempel. Thats it. Now we know a lot more - even without Rossetta although its excellent to have that as a info source as well. What I hate is that a lot of info is not available publicly. Like I didnt catch where the speculation of Tschuris origin did lead to. And by that I mean the "population" and the original distance to the sun at formation. I heard some very interesting preliminary theories on that based on the composition and the "retained volatiles" - and now this lead is basically dead. But yeah that guy that lectured told a little of the reality of who owns the data, which group gets to publish first, and the usual first publish right in that and that "magazine", or whatever. .... writing that stuff in english is actually ..... hard - since I am also tired. I hope its still readable. ^^ €: btw: This thing is (or was, dunno) installed on the ISS. Yep thats the Princess of the Night printed onto a circuit board. (You can run, but you cant escape Pony even in space! )

    I saw the pictures! Well the ones from the very recent low altitude and thus high resolution ones. In the end it was the same region pin pointed in the preliminary calculations; and just a predicted the lander smacked sidways in a rubble-cliff region.

    I was there at the live stream of the Rosetta Lutetia flyby all those years ago. Also I there was one of the engineers doing a lecture right after the landing at a local astronomical observatory gathering. Cant remember the name, but it was really nice to hear some insight stories - as well as to ask him (probably more thorough than he expected) questions. I remember hearing about the water signatures, and I was really curious to hear if they were deemed crystalline or amorphous. Also some theories of the time about the landing, the resting position on the lander and why stuff like the blast pipe and the harpoons didnt work. (I still admire the balls of changing some of the procedures while being on the way )

  20. Notice the flooding? Yep, you guessed it (actual footage of how fun it is to play shitty cruisers nowadays ....): Against a Scharnhorst even ..... Get this: We see 3 enemy BBs go to D on North. I say in TS: This is won. The Kutu wins a fight against a Ognevoi and a Bismarck. We trade two cruisers for their other two BBs comming from D. Where were our Battleships? Well busy throwing the game away ofc. I really need to learn how to play IJN DDs. Judging by the amount of morons in battleships, it is like dynamite fishing in a goldfish bowl ........
  21. Its all in the plan from WG to make cruisers completely unplayable ..... running strong since oct. last year. Because dieing to 2 shellshits is not enough, you also gotta make skill irrelevant by setting the actual experienced damage/shell close to zero; while in the meanwhile enlisting every cruiser player in the shitty fire lottery totally negating skill. Less than 5 k damage for 20+ hits (20 cm Pensacola! Not shitty small calibre high rof guns) right on the midsection - from both ammo types? Seems legit comrade. AP also, unsurprisingly ineffective ...... If I only had something else to shoot at him ..... hm ....... to bad, there is nothing that can do actual damage. Getting citadels from all angles because "historical armor". Cant citadel destroyers because "every hit would be a citadel - from all angles". No shi7 Sherloc, ever played a cruiser? Thats destroyer-armor and a battlehip-turning-radius merged together for the ultimate a$$-fudge package. Give the Kongo her historical AA, and defensive fire and put her on T8 as a option and I gladly take the battlecruiser over any other (silver-)shi7heap that is polluting T8. And If I want to play a "light cruiser" there are always russian DDs, and in the future probably the big French DD-Leaders ......

    Contemplated the same, but the main issue remains: 750 m turning circle. To put that into perspective: NC - 760 m. Kongo - 770 m. A cruiser is basically not smaller than a battleship. If you can hit a battleship you can hit a cruiser ( and if you hit a cruiser its a citadel ....). Actually hitting the battleship is more difficult because he can randomly slow down while being angled, while the same in a cruiser is 10 citadels throught the bow.

    Wow a buff, even if it is only "a repair", to Mogami? Maybe he talked about the wrong ship? Maybe what they really meant, and want to do, is to give smoke and repair to Prinz Eugen because "its boring" - and he just made "a few typos"? Has to be, because I honestly cant believe it, as Mogami is WGs most favourite rape-victim.

    If you have MK 1 Ballz (two of them, one or three+ dont work; but would explain a lot of teams I get) you can outpace even 40+ knts destroyers in your low to mid tier US BBs in terms of distance to the enemy. At least thats my experience when it comes to attacking the enemy vs those idiots that take the longest route possible to go absolutely nowhere in particular and be useless. Just yesterday I had a Fuso, that AFTER I pointed the matter out to him in chat, still went ALL around D on the North-map. D-cap was uncontested, but we still needed TWO ships capping it, one being a slow-[edited]battleship. Everyone could clearly see that as the enemy ships position were all known since they were spotted .... It took him 10 minutes to get into a position where he could open fire on the enemy. Open fire, NOT being in effective gun range or even tanking. No amount of engine power will be able to counteract stupidity and cowardice. If anything it will only raise demands for even bigger maps, so they can run away faster and longer - thus go somewhere even more remote, and be even less useful ...... wait! Scratch that last part, for its not possible .....
  25. This game was pretty nice - esp considering the environment for cruisers. But in total it has been yet another day of citadels from all angels. In fact most of them came through the bow again. But my real achievement will not be publicly naming and shaming the useless noobs I met today. Just in the last game I had on of those 11:13 games, because simply "thirty pieces of silver" is the only explanation for the amount of greed induced stupidity. Game is on Archipelago. I am in Clemson with Kim in the OP-erator. I write in the chat to the Minekaze (thats our Judas) to stay close in case he runs into the enemy Nicholas. Ofc shi7s for brains doesnt answer, knows everything better and proceeds with his sight-seeing-tour of the blue line. Its right now when I speculate on TS that our waste of space is "carrier hunting" aka being useless and going around the whole map. Just as predicted he runs into the enemy Nicholas. I did the biggest mistake of the whole match and saved his lousy a$$ by killing the enemy Nicholas in a gun fight without loosing much health. Then there is a enemy DD pushing our base, I turn around (keep track of my movement) and kill said IJN on the other side, that was threatening our base. Yet another turn around and I now know where the enemy CV is hiding (behind one of t he island in the middle)- and I am in ter perfect position to surprise him. Because I am no [edited]coward thats useless and creeps around the blue line, and apparently I have magical speed hacks our saboteur is not even close. Certainly not as close as I am. So I kill the carrier ... without problems. Now the 2nd carrier is aiming for me .... and whats that? That useless [edited]HAD to fire torpedos from 10th row. Full spread of 6. They would have run out before they could have hit the carrier, but they were PERFECTLY aimed to box me between the carrier strike on one side and the traitor on the other. He had to see me when he launched those; or he could have also written a warning in chat. Its not like that completely out of position as he was there was anything for him to do - other than drooling over the keyboard. But hey winning optional, harming your team is not. Since 6 torps are worse than 1 I choose to run into the CV spread ........ now I am ofc low health. Since I cant fight the now appearing DDs openly I drop smoke, dodge the drop form the CV in the smoke ..... and what this? The god damn idiot is cutting me of with yet another torp spread. Epic stuff I tell ya. After dodging 2 "enemy" salvos of torps the third form one of the DDs comes in and I get hit and I get hit. Now our almighty shi7lord can show of his skills fighting 2 IJN destroyers. He actually got a chance since I damaged one DD from smoke, but as you expect: Being such a utter and complete noob, he looses. Lets recap his achievements: - Being resistent to chat. - Being one of those useless borderscrapers. - Threw torp spreads at carrier that run out before the target - at least TWICE. - Being a greedy [edited]that got his teammate killed. - Lost his own ship. - Saved a enemy carrier and two DDs from probable destruction. - Lost the game ...... I mean seriously: We had this, up to the point of divine-noob intervention ofc. And for the grand finally: Maybe it was new player, that just got his first T5 destroyer ?.... NOPE! A god damn CBT player, with 5 k pvp games since OBT. Therefore, boys and girls, this guy takes the "most useless and greedy [edited]"-award at least of this month, with good chances for the yearly one too. Next time you are pissed because there is a afker on your team - be glad because it could be worse: It could be on of those useless sabotaging greedy shi7lords costing you the game. One Zuiho sunk, some damage on the Langley - the rest only to destroyers. Thats why there is big damage number ....... well and the fu<ktard ofc.
