    I have to use it a work. Beats roaming through whole books of case related literature .... I suppose. I hope you guys had a great time yesterday. I certainly did. No snow; only there was/is rain coming down like someone is using a spotter-hose + stormy winds. .... only today the awakening got somewhat ..... unpleasant. Had to do some outdoor temporary repairs in a storm. Fascinating how determinated anger focused on a task ahead keeps you warm from the inside ....

    Surprise alright .... When WG decides to give something, WG EU goes to work and goes that extra mile so the EU server doesnt get what WG intended all the servers to have. So if anything I wouldnt be surprised if they realised something else is to be cut out, and then spared no efforts, even on christmas, to get it off the EU server ....

  5. Obviously h4x! Moving on: Gun accuracy is baaaaaaaaad, but otherwise: nearly 39 knts on T2? What a great little suicide boat. (One of those) Will probably be kept for fun in co-op alone.

Will play it again now, that I wait here anyway for the patch.
  8. That poor guy! 0 creds, 0 xp? Isnt that to harsh? At least he provided his team with the joy of his presence and they were free to all look a premium camo - for free even! I am waiting for the people who dont want to loose a player like this to chip in and start a charity fund so they can gift that players at least 20 k doubloons, to exchange for creds so he can sit in more games afk without a reason! Thb honest if 29 k average damage is correct it doesnt matter much if hes afk or not ..... but we cant afford to loose such a players to low tiers, co-op, ranked or TB where they roam free anyway ........ /s The (reduced! premium ship) repair costs of Missouri compared to a single average game are what? 1/20? So play 3 games fapping only with 1 hand (I know its hard but sometimes you gotta do whats necessary) , and you can pollute another 60 for free! Simply great!

    By evidence a lot of people even on the forum will rush to their defence, since you totally shouldnt dare to deprive players like the Missouri of their "fun". Future T 10 player - enjoy. Sitrep: Our CVs uses the SOS since 2 bots are after him. I am nearly done burning down a NM from smoke (our NM killed that one later), with torps up for a Scharnhorst and can shoot 2 DDs with comfort from smoke IF our CV keeps them spotted - I can not move out of the Smoke since I then will get shot by both DDs, bombed by the CV and shot by both the Scharnhorst, her 2ndaries and a NM: Short on pts because of only 1 cap - which I got us - against the bots 2. Out of torps against Scharnhorst from close range because CV did not keep the DDs spotted AFTER crying for help in the first place because "scawy dedoyers" coming for him. Ofc dead to Scharnhorst - there was never any question about that. At this point only the Scharnhorst and the enemy CV are alive. I am dead, and so is our NM which only leaves Captain Crayon here. And yep, thats your future T 10 CV player. Skycarcinoma in its purest form: apT4. Heaven help if you really want to restrict them to pollute 3 instead of 10 high tier games in a row in the future because then you are being elitist. Lets recap: Thats a utter a$$hole of a T 6 CV that asks for help, fails to provide the same himself when trying to give said asked help. Gets outplayed by a bot CV (again in a T 6 CV, so its not like he hasnt experience with CVs) without upgrade, without hull or plane upgrades, without captain skills and best of all: He is so completely full of himself that Dunning-Kruger would be an understatement, fails to shut his a$$ and actually think when given friendly advice and ofc he plays pvp too. You know, all "great" players do. Come on everyone that wants to see actually him on T10 continuously: I can give you the acc via pm so you can gift him some doubloons so he can hasten his grind to his rightful Midway. You can even division up with him! The last thing we want is to segregate a player like that!

  14. Because the carrying potential gets limited by how deadly ships are, and skill diversity gets a much much greater in higher tiers. Its already bad enough to compensate for a top tier ship being bad, but let me put it this way: Set up a training room on a map like ocean. Put 3 enemy Yamas on the other side. Get yourself a Amagi. -> Carry. What? Those are only bots, without captain skills, without upgrades, without flags, without premium consumables. Now imagine at least ok players piloting them with all that! On the other hand what would you suggest should be the tier at which I can expect players to know the basics? 1? 11? Because 2-10 with actual repair costs seem to have to be reserved for bots of all kinds. (Tough again, up to the mid tiers thats to be expected and not a problem). btw: At least I am no high tier player. I simply cant be since I dont do p2w and thus tier distribution has to be shaped like a /\ peaking around 5-6. The thing is simple: In T 1-3 you basically have to expect ..... everything. By T 4 player should have at least learned to not TK people ..... by second rowing. Right now you cant even get that at BT 10, because its asked to much from the bots. There are more destructive behaviour-pattern like that: EG when WG shows of their game and you get press accounts in T 10 ships, that get dragged away after 10 mins. What fun! Or how about former fail divisioning? Not talking about T10-Umikaze-terror here, but rather suff like: Kongo for a Yamato -> Balanced comrade. Rest of the team has lots of fun to "just carry harder". Its the same "I want to play, fúck the team" kind of pattern. Or why not revert the MM back to this: Dominaton on Ocean - again, what fun! Yeah its a really tempting daydream.
  15. You cant say that. I have 2535 bot matches in which I voluntarily chose to play with new players or with and against bots. The problem are the other 2755 pvp bot matches - and of those the high tier ones. Look around: Only botmatch mentioned is co-op: http://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Ship:Game_Modes So I am just following the advertising here. The problem is that for the co-op matches its intentional of one side always having more bots and nearly always achieving a steamroll victory; unlike the other gamemodes.
  16. 1:1 rewards for TKs on T10 bots with sub 40 % WR and 20 k avg damage like its an enemy ship, because it in fact is? That overly rewards ships with a fast torp reload.;) He is a stand up cardboard cutout. ... and probably still more useful in a sports game like soccer than the bots on your side. I was just to lazy to write something like Yamato over his chest. No, I want to impose a harsher economy on them that gives them more incentives in staying either at lower tiers, pay for it a lot (more) or learn the very basics of pulling their weight more or less. Again see above. There are 10 tiers in this game. People with absolutely no clue can still learn; but the place to do so cant and shouldnt be BT 10. What do you learn from doing nothing for your team and then getting annihilated by 2 salvoes in your broadside? That the spotter plane is required for even more range to be safe from that thanks to dispersion; until you get cornered like a rat on the loss-mopup? Because, thats exactly what I see in this game.
  17. The humanity! How dare you force them to use their bots to farm 2 to (lets say) 10 T1 co-op battles to continue polluting another T10 battle. Tactics employed: 4x W -> Pew pew pew. Not used: Hiding, being balless, "playing for fun", S. The game be open. The problem is when people can pollute countless high tier battles in a row - and they do that in co-op, in TB, in ranked and in pvp. I am suggesting cutting down in half of 1 of those 4 sections - and all of a sudden its no longer open? Btw sport a good analogy: Its good fun as everyone tries there best. This is what you get in this game. I guarantee you next time there is any sports game this "guy" wont even be invited and his alter ego is gone too, as at the after-game BBQ he is used to help cook the meal. "Burning" the bots credits reserves is exactly what I would suggest ....... I prefer to miss out on a few more steamroll losses and wins + some % WR in exchange for more enjoyable games overal. I can fight with and against bots in co-op just fine, but there I do so on my own will. btw: there is now a new terms for division that win, even with good results but there are still the idiots around who made this way more difficult and frustrating than necessary: Its called desperation quit and compliments the usual rage quit.

  19. Again NO! The sub 50 % are not the problem. The 20-sub40 % in T10 ARE. Yes there I saw even 2x % WR in TX. If you are Mr. Average you get, by definition 100 % rewards. If you are Mr. and watch your team die from behind islands or the border, or if you are Mr. Bot on his way to his rightfully earned T 10, or Mr. "I play for fun and go through the channel on Two Brothers in my Yama" then you should get less and less rewards for your sabotaging. Again: 1 Linear rewards. If you "can do" 20k damage to the same targets as compared to someone doing 200k to, again, the same targets you get 1/10 of the xp and silver. The same with capping or spotting respectively. Its just easier to say 200k damage then 531/189 parts of a full cap ..... That immediately helps, but then whoring damage and caps will be put above winning. So have 2. bonus-malus which is a modifier for that as well. Lets say double the divergence from the average. The average rest around 48-49 if I am not mistaken. If you got 45 % WR, you loose 8 %, thats manageable. If you got 30 % WR you loose 36-38 %, that hurts esp. if you dont get get a golden goose for stopping fapping enough to land 10 shells. If you get 55 % WR, you get a 12 % bonus. Dont lock jaws on the "double divergence from average" to much, its just a spontaneous figure that is ofc open for further discussion and testing .... Weeding out the absolute sabotaging trash is a goal, and not a adverse effect. Yes the rest will be, by definition, be tighter grouped around 44-55 %. But this low fluctuations means you dont get overly rewarded OR punished by the bonus malus. The same "low fluctuations" will also inadvertently expand to player skill. Players still doing higher than avg damage and winning get a bonus, which is desirable; and the sabotaging trash deserved to be thrown out through a closed (!) door anyway - so no tear about them: You dont know how to strafe, auto drop and your engine is perma-broken in a T10 CV? Well, those players can still pollute the occasional T 10 game, but will be not able to do so continuously. Honestly this is the last time I will try to explain this. Every time there is somebody who tries to make this about players trying but not being unicorns of flying pony princesses in stats - and then arguments on that basis. Its not about them. It never was. And they wont get hurt. (Negative!) non linear rewards in this game kick in rather fast around pulling your own weight. If anything those players could PROFIT from the changes. Its primarily about trash and their uniform pollution of all tiers, its about those guys being so useless you would pray to have a bot from co-op on your side instead.

  21. This. And add bots. It doesnt matter if its a human sabotaging, or if hes running his bot to get his rightfully deserved T 10 ship. Again this. If I keep this up, I play more co-op than pvp. I dont play a lot of games per day. There are more than 1 or 2 tasks I suck at horribly in this game, and if the enemy is at least average, I immediately struggle. If anything _I_ am the casual. I remember meeting more than one forumite which started playing "not long ago", but I never had any problems with them. Why? Because they are not working themselves to the bone to sabotage the teams effort. Let elaborate further on this guy. 20 k average damage is around 10 hits per battle (on avg). Lets say he hits 12 % of his shots (which is BAD!) thats 10 salvos or ~ 5 minutes of firing the guns. The fact thats a Montana and the distance implied by hitrates below 20 % in high tier ships means he get more than enough time for those salvoes. .... and I gurantee you he will get 700 xp for that. Over 1k if he wins, and 1, 5 k if he runs premium; might even turn a profit. THATS the problem. How can anybody expect things to change if they pet the dog on the head for shitting on the carpet? If you stay longer in the channel, you will have witnessed more cases of the following: Fúck! (<-Thats the greeting). I have just ... (description of the disaster, very entertaining if you are not the one affected ). ... and Lucifer himself was on my team. (Lucifer can stand for any nickname/acc; but everyone agrees said user should go back to hell, or at least uninstall ). I think Live has some more Horrors documented. I tend to rage, bit<h and then it gets overshadowed by the next bot. The problem I have with that its there are a lot of people which tried, died and thus are not on top at the end. Likewise it encourages to secure your own flock rather then trying everything to turn a game around. Take the recent retarded mission by WG that requires you to do x AND survive: You are loosing atm, but if you hide and accept the loss you will complete the mission -> What do you think will the majority of the people do? I can see and understands the merits, but thats why I am arguing for a system that rewards performance ingame AND also takes globally playing for a win into a account. Exactly. I remember even CVs without planes leaving, but then we would have needed them to try to get a win. EG As bait or Diversion - I heard the IJN ones are best suited for that historically. By simply keep actively running away and staying alive, or by capping, ramming, or 2ndary battery Q-ship. No we want to punish players "playing for fun" while being worse than bots that INSIST on doing that up to the highest tiers. 10 tiers in co-op, the training room, being mercenaries in TB, polluting ranked, and up to the mid tiers in pvp should be plenty of "playing ground" for them already. You know what up "my fun" immediately? If I torp every coward and noob and bot. I have no problem being pink for 5 games - only thing holding me back is some moral obligation and the realisation I didnt get spoon-fed wisdom enough to be the ultimate law of judgement. Still the _urge_ to TK is there every time I see an idiot. Now, should I also "play for fun"? Should I even start to argue with WG to ease the TK rules so "I can have more fun"? Hell, there is even someone in this very thread I would love to tk first, and ask questions later. Even if I would love to, I wont do it, even if I had the unfotunate luck of having him on my team; thats whats called common curtsey - and the high tier bots lack that. You mean unlike now where landing 4 shells with a T 7 battleship for 2k damage on on other BBs! nets you 200 xp - on a loss? I know that because I had that happen to ME recently and its completely absurdly retarded. Try getting 200 xp extra when you are at over 3k base xp. Thats what? Two complete ships? More? Again, 1. Linear rewards. 2. Bonus malus for winning to keep damage whoring and disregarding the objective/win at bay. Btw. Even your CVs would profit from that ...... unlike Mr. Essex which died with 76 xp to surfarce forces and has avg. damage of 26 k (aka T 2 cruiser) in a freaking ESSEX over more than a few handfuls of battles! €: ;)

    Can you be more specific? Whith what ships against what? EG, lets say say your struggle with your shooting if you progress to higher tiers the battle distances from T 1 + 2 at 8-9 km suddenly go up to around 14 km alone at T 4. I remember having (very early on at the start of obt) 2 "settings" for shooting at BB at mid and long range each: 5 and 10 lead on the highest zoom. Obviously that wasnt "up to par" when the battle distances got higher.
