    Cruisers (or lack of)

Even good players struggle when you get punished with insta deletion for things like "getting spotted" or "doing nothing wrong at all". Old song about cruisers - resume even right at the beginning.

    German BB weekend

Spoken in that "certain accent" from that certain gamer-poop-video: "Ahhh ...... its the Deadric Prince of [edited] ...... in disguise!" - If thats not a truly mortifying prospect of things to come, then I dont know what could be.
  3. Was about the ram that pos Emerald home into a Gneisenau, but got co-op Kraken denied in the last possible second by fire increasing to double fire. Well at least this time I didnt detonate ..... another thing the Emerald LOVES to do at beginning of any battle in co-op.

[SCRUB] The Scrubs - Recruitment thingy

Wait, I know that avatar: https://www.youtube.com/user/DabuXian/featured Very likely to be coincidence but you dont see THAT many people with that ava ..... so, could it be? ....... anyway quite a surprise. Yeah well, its hard competition against floatplane ( ?!) garters. So far its only an avatar - but lets see where this is going ..... Just try. If you got a W key that you can press that one at least 4 times every battle within 3 minutes you already beat 70 % of the players easily. Also you dont have to hand over your soul ......... yet. Just play a few games in a division and go from there. Got somewhat hot over the afternoon ....... could really use some rain now.

    Cruisers (or lack of)

Dying to citadels ..... I dont know any other ship class that can die to 2 shells from a same tier ship without the need of a detonation. WHAT?! 1,5 million in any T8 BB -> usual. Getting 1,5 million in a T8 cruiser = second comming.

Its says 19 °C here (on the weather page, to comfy atm to check the thermometer ) - which is ofc the usual [edited]. Its likely 20-21 °C + sunshine only disturbed by a few clouds - in short: Last weather I find acceptable before summer-plague is trying to heat-sterilize all life with freaking 27-28 °C immediately before sunrise aka the "coolest" part of the day. At least I can still sleep. Working AND get to sleep 2h/night for months half a year because of the damn heat/vermin ...... god I hate even thinking of that. Next WE I will see to it that there is some icecream to indulge in at home. ^^ Coco has blue hair too, is cute as hell but I dont think she can quite qualify as Atago.

    economy system is Crap

Na, na, dont underestimate the power of the wallet warriors and potatoes. Lets say it takes "real effort" and "dedication" to still be able to suck out enough to lose credits.

Psssst. Psssst. The episode is Lesson Zero, 3rd Episode, 2nd season, considered one of the best and a good starting point. No need to thank me. €: Noticed its a little big, so I did put it into the spoiler. Nice day that still and thankfully doesnt get too hot and I am enjoying a really damn good Sunday meal, hope you guys do the same!

Those are hard to come by - with Pony-addition at least. But here, Atago and Takao even if its Kentai (I think, like how would I know?) with the Spa-Pony-Twins. I can usually work only by proxy like Sonata Dusk which reminds me of ARP Takao - at least somewhat. €: forgot to put that one in: Both pics are pretty accurate. One is chilling in the cage after having a bath drying up, and the other one is snuggling right now. Might put him back in soon to be able to let some fresh air in tough.

One of my all time favourites! Naturally, I am a massive sucker for Nurse Redheart. And to cover the other half of the forumites: It bet of those even AO wouldnt refuse ... medical advice from Nurse Redheart. Long past week, so:

    Otranto mission

Interesting. Lets roll with that example. So far 3 out 4 classes pretty much being left out didnt bother you (yes, even DDs technically have secondaries in some cases and could do it, so thats ALL classes as compared before with CVs which dont have ship-torpedoes) so it should be not a problem that its BB-focused. Of those BBs all have secondariness - useful to various degrees. Since its only about hits and not damage it doesnt matter how effective those are for completing the mission. Secondaries even for germans only become long range on T8 - A Fuso has the same amount of barrels/range compared to a Bayern. With Yama and Izumo you can do the same like the T8 german BB. There are even Permium on sale with great secondaries (eg Tirpitz) and last time I checked the Missouri with 6 km base 2ndaries was available for "potentially" free with enough grind (even in co-op as opposed to those campaigns you have do in random at one point). (with that btw all the nations with BB trees are covered) So 1500 base xp, 120 secondary hits, T6+ - no problem at all. Dont get me wrong, I still think such a mission would be retarded to no end, but its essentially covered by the very same objections you are using now to defend the current one. €: aw crap this was meant as an edit.

I do the same. No wait, I would do the same, with WG its hypothetical most of the time. I also want to add: With things like the broken Carrier UI, the broken chat, the broken XXX -> You can only reasonably expect a "well done" if its in a timely manner or a honest mistake and also if its not a horrendous blunder in the first place. The best you can expect in those cases is a "about time" and a reminder about all the other constructions sites that should have been fixed ages ago. Well animosity with WG is a continuous process. Take the smoke bug scandal for example which had them disregard presented proof both by users and STs and playing us for complete idiots. We didnt touch anything + we dont see anything. The matter itself was so clear that anyone playing even a hour of co-op (no pvp or training room or anything fancy needed) could get COUNTLESS examples. ........ but yeah: WG was "right" not only 1 but 2 bugs as it later turned out. There was never an honest excuse for taking the users with proof as complete idiots. As a consequence WG as a source is to me no more reliable than any other random noob on the forum talking about the flying dutchman craping lava on his precious BB. Every few months I gave proof to the broken damage system in a increasingly and understandably less friendly but still polite way. Nothing has changed -> So I save up on time/energy and rather unspecific tell them how much they smell in general. In terms of "effectiveness of outcome" there is no difference detectable anyway. And we havent even touched subjects like their "awesome video cediting skillz" form last year.
  13. AOs "dirty talk". "The told me I could be anything I wanted - so I became everything at once; with a pricetag ofc"

    Otranto mission

Its that any player could do it in a game they dont win. [Winning = loosing base xp x 1,5] or [loosing = winning base xp x (2/3)] therefore 1,5k and 2,25 are equivalent of the same performance just one is lost and one is a won game. So normalized for a loss, either a 1,5 k xp-performance on a loss or a loss-equivalent-but-won 1 k xp-performance on a victory will do the trick. ......... and here it starts with the non linear rewards. 1,5 k to 1k is easily more than double (of whatever) and even more difficult because "supplies" like targets, round-time, own hp, etc - are limited/scarce. The problem lies with the matter that you can get your 10 "torps hits", lets say you are lucky and distributed on multiple targets so even 5 of those are damaging and then even loose the game and thus not get enough xp to get it done. Anything close to but less than 1,5 k base xp on a loss is not a bad game on any stretch of imagination. Thats where we differ. Before I am able to even think about meeting WG halfway, they have to stop constantly [edited]up for several months first. The can be glad its only several months, because if it would be a bullshi7 to well behaved coefficient like 1:1 then it would be several years. Also there are matters that have no date of expiry and are not slowly slipping into acceptance - and thus remain a issue . The "forgiveness clock" cant even start ticking with those present. At the end of the day its their game, their mission design and whatever. Its also their forum which I am more than obliged to use to give them feedback I deem appropriate till I get banned or they close it down or it ceases to function due to breaking down or misconception. After Years of WG treatment I certainly dont feel the need any more to cut them any slack whatsoever......
  15. How about: "Burn your wallet if you have to, leave no supplies to the enemy comrade"? Imho still better to have than be in a T9 cruiser.

    Otranto mission

Onion-voi is researched for me - I would need to buy it. This. I have plenty of ships "could" do it (by tier and torps) but lets dissect: 5 Torp hits with cruiser torps are usually enough to send a full hp BB to the bottom (if not for unlucky circumstance or using the standard german torps, like Hippers, against somthing like Yamato). If the BB is damaged or its a "lesser" target then congrats: You just won a intimate date with your knee. Also 1500 xp. Not to bad at first glance, but try all that above AND score the equivalent of 2,25 k base of a winning game - else its the date with the knee again. Thats an understatement. I appreciate the effort tough to help me find something in my collection that can do it with more than negligible chance, but so far my plan regarding the matter is as follows: 1. Maybe even play pvp at all - because this is certainly on incentive as it is. 2. Maybe get lucky ..... somehow. 3. Give WG a piece of my mind for (in my view) yet again another fail mission. Also for the last part I gotta quote James Rolfe. He is an director, actor, writer, producer and what not, and the quote is picked for historical connection to the video game-franchise, the artistic poetry as well a being vastly on-topic: "It's actually better than the [ missions that came before ] but that's not saying much; that's like saying the shi7 I took last night was better than the shi7 I took the day before!" - with ofc me replacing and the part in the [ ].

I even checked because of the new names/reshuffling -> Nope. (I played the T6 long ago)
  18. Competitive play should have an equal footing to begin with: All teams when forming their line-ups should get access to the same captains and ships (for the competitive play at least). Ofc having those p2w premium ships and p2w-trained experienced captains available in the training room is also mandatory for said training/exercises. Everything else is just "who buys the most advantages and sucks the least as a whole team + divine RNG Intervention". Ofc this does not only describe any competitive mode but the game as a whole. Easy there, we can read Hieroglyphs on Papyri and mesopotamian clay-tablets in Cuneiform Inscription dating from thousands of years back. .......... I cant say we are even able to read what has been written 2 minutes ago in the WG-Chat. That might give you an idea about the root of the problem at hand ... (btw: New record. In terms of gfx-technical, game design, balancing etc WG is "only lacking" behind decades. This is now a matter of thousands of years, even more than 10 k if we also include scratched symbols from the last Ice-Age or generally neolithic-stuff. We have not necessary an idea about their meaning or the intelligence behind it, but the same is true for any asinine patch and the corresponding patch-notes).

Was thinking about Clemson but ... yeah. So another undoable mission for me then. Not surprised, still WG after all.
  20. Epic result! Btw, CHS and a division mate were in the other team - so defo a earned result! (aside from being a cv to begin with ofc. ) A BB, 2 DDs and 2 CLs - in a basically continous melee. Our Kaputnik only went out from his hiding place behind a (not ambush!) island after seeing one opportunity to get cred/xp after the other getting sunk. You can buy a premium ship and put flags on it, you still gotta fight the bots yourself .......... ..... or maybe it was me finally giving him an example of proper co-op play that had him rushing that last BB. That 1,3k xpts are a HUGE buff towards Leander. I cant stand the manure that is Emerald ......

Only going by "reference" gained - also where did that .gif go that Jack and Blogis used to have in their sigs? I am. This here ensamble of fellow scrubs and forumites, thats the "audience" fate has chosen for me and I gotta work with that now. Also thinking about Cole Porter - Anything goes here: https://youtu.be/17ZWrcL9Dz0?t=37s ^^ - In that sense: To tell you the truth: If you start putting clothes on Pony you are gotta be very careful of (not? ) slipping into nsfw (or at least -ish) territory all of a sudden. Anyway have Texas, Royal Sovereign and Dreadnought in one pic: €: I was actually done with the post, but have yet another addendum for great justice: I bet one of our forumites (maybe even AO? ) rushed to the drawer to get pen n paper as soon as he saw that and this is the result. ^^/€ Glad to hear! Onwards to full recovery with plenty of rest, noob-pwnge and hot soup (and ofc a plushy ). btw: All of them do make exceptional nurses, dont they?

A tale of three sheep - HYPE! Part 3

Drop some of the forum rules first and I will do that to no end thoroughly, lively and very very graphically. ......... or can I take that gracious invitation as a free pass to speak my thoughts openly right away?
  23. Low hp ram-pink? Done it. Landing a 20 hp or so shell on a friendly (bot in co-op) dd because both bots slowed down in front to each other - bow to bow? Done it. But let me ask if that sounds familiar: You smoke up in a great position/you go in in a great ambush/whatever and if Mr. Fucknugget would get his head out of his a$$ and onto the minimap he would clearly see that. Now the enemy is 12 km out - he has 6 km torps - not even a Kaba is fast enough to run into those. The ONLY thing he can hit is a friendly. Usually its a camper to which orbits the battle like Oort-Clout object; only coming close to the heat due to balance perturbations (aka team is dead and the enemy coming for them) force that. Also you gotta do a lot of damage till its start to reflect back onto you; being pink alone is not enough. I also had (greedy idiot) CVs dropping on targets that were dead when the torps hit the water and forced me out of cover in front of the enemy fleet while also "locking me in" broadside to the enemy in order to not run into those torps; bonus pts for being in a cruiser. I have to be dead to remain silent in those occasions .......
  24. I wouldnt say that. If some idiot is pink and did enough damage so his fabulous second rowing into my broadside on a enemy out twice the torp range does reflect damage to him, he can definitely expect a comment from me about said second rowing.

Why play in tier X? ...

Another aspect of playing T10 is that you can give buyers of p2w ships (downtiered or otherwiese op/p2w) that are at least T8 in terms of "WG selling policy" a taste of "their own medicine" of "its totally balanced" and how much "fun & engaging" it is to fight against ships that are simply better with the best captains available which you wouldnt even dare dreaming of. Ofc its not perfect because you lack the p2w trained ub0r captains but hey, as close as a silver peasant can get. Face it: The Zao with worse AA but with radar and a UK cruiser heal is, looking at WGs premium policy, "totally a T9 cruiser".
