[SCRUB] The Scrubs - Recruitment thingy
havaduck replied to Loran_Battle's topic in Clan Recruitment
1. You want moar flood? Be careful tough, already has been one of my favourite powers since Populous II. 2. Yeah I get a sense that Christmas has Socks for AO, .......and the time before ........ and the time after. 3. When posting purple haired waifu, do it right: Yeah, I know nothing for AO up there. AO wants socks and other clothes on Ponies despite my warnings, *sigh* ....... so I have to oblige : Poor Dashi, always has to play the mannequin for AO. I would ....... well, I woudlnt frown, I would run, but thats another story. ^^ For Wolf: (an example of the localized version being (imho) better while not translating by the letter too - rare occurrence these these) also for Wolf ........ and all others ofc: ............. and just for the record: I think AOs GPU committed seppuku and is now slowly spilling its guts because it could no longer bear the "things" it had to render. At least if I were in its place, I probably would immediately commit sudoko!- 3,079 replies

So a Pinke Pie/Gummy connoisseur? (close enough, Gummy best philosopher! - best Scrub-material too as the last few second show this is pro-lvl licking technique) Couldnt resist this time - met to many mashed potatoes. !!!! Embrace Chaos? Anyway, as it probably quite clear now: I do hate the damn heat. I would actually welcome some cold but usually the whole year around there is nothing fitting that description. At least have another Pony in the snow (with socks, for AO):- 3,079 replies

@lafeel Those "ribbons" are sweet. .......... much better than the "Splat"-rehash WG was pulling on a early 90s boardgame. Anyway: See in this game the Montana and the Yamato got complimented. On is on top, one is rather down low. But both stayed between b and c and got spammed providing support, tanked (I zipped around them, attracting enough shots of my own) allowing us finally to push the enemy back behind their own cap and thus allowing us a decisive victory. Its ofc a shame that the farm always gets cut short in the end. On the other hand the T8 BBs just deserve a report, doesnt matter that they are above the Yamato. The amount of idiots going to D on North is to damn high (or the equivalent on other maps). Every damn time today we had those saboteurs trying to throw the game - if not for Scrubs holding much of the enemy main force. Ofc its then hard to have a good game of your own with 5 ships constantly shooting you (or just survive at all). Sure I can play damagewhore too - and then the games over in 3-4 minutes due to dropping below 0. Honestly it seeps the will to press battle again ....... Anyway the game above gave me finally the mission. In this one below we met Tom for reinforcement! Desperately needed reinforcement as ....... you guessed it: The team sat in C instead of reacting to the enemy push out of A. Tom got a smoke screen in front of him from a friendly Shima (complimented), but I was lit up by a plane and couldnt get alive into that smoke screen (would mean broadside to like 3 BBs and 2 cruisers), which ofc meant another round of "shoot the shitty cruiser" . Couldnt really participating in the farm tough, as I was hammered by nearly all of them (+ Hindenburg and Iowa joining the fun from the north). In the end we won - because its way more braindead to go to C with half the teams ships, then it is to have the mouthbreathers sit in c where they can lob shells at their mirror mouthbreathers coming from A. Yay for shitteamlottery! Speaking of which: 7-0 victories. Yay! - and yes, mostly I just won the shitteamlottery by staling the enemy and having your idiots being slightly less bad then whats on the other side. Epic. Pics! or it didnt happen! ;) -

Very brave of you of to enter something into google coming from AOs direction. For example, only thanks to AO I think I am fully getting that one: (I actually read "GeneGeneGene" up there ) To paraphrase @BadGene616 - 61 pages of "this" and they still keep coming to sign up. 1500 posts of "this"; just look at the first few pages, they are so ........ "innocent". I really wonder what the "internal bible" in the "red zone" says about how to handle this thread if they get new recruits - like they recently did. Putting aside thoughts about the "Reds", at least more Admirals join us for the glory of the Imperial Forumite Navy! Thats Emperor Gene in his "corner of filth" () - not to be confused with Darth Loran ofc. True. I mean beforehand it didnt matter to much (at least from my pov) because you could always rejoin - even if it had to be like in the 6th branch-out-version of Scrubs, but you were in again. Now you would loose oil, and I imagine as the game develops even more desirable bonuses. Anyway, its not really cold and there is enough vermin around seeking shelter at your place if you ever do so much as open a window but at least its not hot as ballz anymore and I can "enjoy" a good warm bath again (read: fall asleep like my birds when allowed to sleep on my stomach under a shirt or blanket). Some snow would be nice tough - even a short intermezzo if only to kill of most of remaining vermin. I imagine up north its already more in the 5-10° region?- 3,079 replies

What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?
havaduck replied to Hanszeehock's topic in General Discussion
Had to ragequit now. I think I know a thing about this game but after 3 fun and engaging moments in a row, its just to much ........... ......and in case you are wondering: Yes I am salty as [edited]. Because sadly I cant forget the BS WG is constantly spouting whenever they open up their poop chute. A (nearly) def strike is no fun either way, but not to bad. But if you remember the completely insulting nonsense WG is sprouting AND their actual action completely contradicting any of it, then its of no surprise it would make my day to see WG close its doors forever, in order to give somebody else the chance to create a proper game. Lets just ignore for a moment the horrible balancing here, that leaves cruisers with the only class which still has a citadel. Lets just ignore for a moment the horrible design here that gives out random oneshots to cruiser. Lets just ignore for a moment the 50 % hr from guns which are supposedly inaccurate from 17 km - BS they use to justify how ridiculous op these BBs in particular are. Well maybe its just a really skilled player that got his proper positioning and careful lead rewarded with once in 10 good dispersion? Yes, no - what do you think? Its this guy (you can check the rest for yourself): and guess what? I had to go down to ships like South Callie and Kaiser or Nassau to find one thats actually above 21 % hr. Honestly I rather would have this be a decent player who got just really lucky with dispersion on a proper shot ....... If you on the other hand ever, ever wonder why the game its in its current shitty state and the constant pandering to the lowest denominator, this is why. Anyway had a few solid games too today. Algerie has really good AP - for a shitty cruiser ofc - while still retaining usable HE. Its has way more firepower alround than that pos Hipper. I think Ill rate the firepower equal to (stock!) Roon. Fiji imho lacks the ultimate damage potential (same as Leander for that matter) - unless the enemy is completely braindead - but its rather solid and as a support a definitive asset. I really like that one. In the next game we have a first blood - thats a Gearing which met a DM radar early on. Geeee, I wonder why I have to put dozens of shells into a gearing, obviously 4, or lets be geneorus: 8 - should be plenty enough and completely balanced. This was probably the best game of today: A Shores in a BT 9 game. Tbh the xp for that one was a little bit dissapointing ...... That lone one plane kill against a same tier CV? Defensive fire ofc. Cruiser AA is so op, plz nerf! This one also had the potential for the best game of today - it would have certainly been a new damage record for in the Hindenburg! Se this Iowa? Hes busy eating torps - all of them! (perfectly predicted his turn) But the game ended just in between hits - I got robbed of another ~30 k damage! In case you are wondering where all those torp hits came from: I contested B cap ...... harshly and decisively. Then I did a Mysterious Ways drive by on a Yamato - and won + survived that melee. Same would have been true for the Iowa as he had no more shells and was just like 1 sec away from eating the rest of the torps. Anyway, just like I always say: You got to use the right track in your pl - thats basically half the "skill" I have: (actually the track used was 360° live Munich 2010 - but there is no good quality one left on YT - and this one also has the My Sweet Lord-snippet). Next one, well I wanted those Storm Wind-camos(), thus I actually played the Hoverberg again. .......... and holy shít is it bad! Forget the result for a moment: This shells are god damn useless! I mean, damn, no damage whatsoever and they take ages to actually reach their target. On the other hand this ship cant get close to anything - at all! A sea turtle is already a huge threat you should definitely kite! Ever played Civilisation? I mean the first fews. Back then you could (AND WOULD!) loose Battleships/industrial era warships against bronze-age phalanx-units in a shore bombardment. The Civ 3 equivalent was Spear man vs Tank - so much so it got its well deserved recognition: Now years later I understand: Shitty german cruisers! Ofc that Phalanx could, should and will win most of the time! Another ok game in the Hindenburg - so yeah I think its a ok T10 ship. Not too good or anything resembling OP, but its workable. It might be the best german cruiser; or at least its on par with the Hermelin - and certainly beats the atrocities of the previous tiers. I also bought a QE and went for ops for testdrive and xp for the upgrades. Tbh so far the ship is a mixed bag: - AP is amazing in terms of getting regular pens even on angled and armored targets - but I have to see how it does against Gneis/Scharnhorsts n stuff before I really judge. - AP is horrendous in terms of citadels. Seriously I cant punch through Kongos or Myogis in this -> wtf. I even have the same problems sometimes with cruisers ........ - AP is really slow an high arcing. Good for plunging fire, bad because you have to get used to them first. - Dispersion seems very derpy. Might be bad luck, but tbh I expected better. Could be that Warspite being p2w has different (hidden) stats. - In combination with bad cit-pen and wonky dispersion -> only 8 guns is certainly not helping. - Maybe its better when its fully upgraded? Though I see no major changes in terms of the shells or accuracy. Preliminary verdict: Battleship killer - and a brutal one. Just dont expect huge damage burst from multiple cits on anything. -

What do you mean comrade? Everything clearly balanced! Only, is way more powerful than any shitty cruiser, has all of its "advantages" with none of its drawbacks; but that is just because cruiser is meant to be dregs of the cesspool! Maybe needs more data, but aside from that not every noob has yet shelled out 60 € and then still complained what we should buff next; so we have yet to gather ideas for "further BB lines".

And I was out of likes already on the Bunny Atago. (always a tomorrow ^^) Also I spot a cat-waifu there: Also my heartfelt apology for overlooking this one. I guess AO is referring to this one from me previously: (perfect for AO, even got some socks) but I digress, AO want his Ponies clothed, despite my warning that in stark contrast to normal 2D waifu, you get yourself intro trouble for putting clothes onto Ponies ......... What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?
havaduck replied to Hanszeehock's topic in General Discussion
Damn I completely forgot that; I knew I should have composed that post yesterday earlier today, but I was tired already. ^^ So this game was pure gold alright. ........ and well a dev. strike is kinda a decisive and conclusive cap reset if I ever saw one. All skill - no luck! (tbf you can do that actually against bots - dispersion rng aside bots KNOW how to aim for your citadel and thus the properly aimed shells are likely to pass trough the superstructure this way. Furthermore, there arent an additional 5 BBs waiting to shoot into whatever you try to pull and then catching you broadside. I want to refer to something here I wrote yesterday in the ingame chan: I cant last against bot BBs. They dont know fear, the attack in groups and their ships are so outrageously overpowered against cruisers, there is simply no way to survive ...... and be effective at the same time (rewards are meager, costs are steep). Now boiling myself up some potatoes ...... and no, altough it sounds that way, I am not referring to anything close to playing the actual game this time. -
What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?
havaduck replied to Hanszeehock's topic in General Discussion
Naturally ..... It was actually meeting lup3s late on which got me out of co-op only. I use the same secret power ........ as well as "others" (example to follow) ........ and to be completely honest: Around 3 times the caps of a random friendly DD MM bestowed on your side in one of the most fragile ships around? Monster-Carry! My pov from that Game "Synchronized results for window licking" are indeed a nice addition, best thing about it is, that you can set up to 1-3 pts divergence to not make it to obvious to the random pleb. But I have to say, I actually enjoyed the "shoot island and citadel it"-plug in a lot more. Makes deleting plebs in p2w cruisers much easier. It think this was the same game as this, which had: Ramming Kraken, voted "Best Kraken" 10 years in a row by "gtfo you borderhumping scum in BBs"-magazine. When you go for a ram and you just want this thing to go faster ........ ...... also art perfectly describes the feeling when you get the ram on a top tier BB. We had an advantage by playing solid, holding caps and ofc division carry. But then had a hefty loss of ships and as you can see with the dev. strikes going left and right ..... this could have actually capsized to a defeat ..... So we were in full carry mode, but some games are just unsalvageable: First of our Hiryu was completely useless and died pretty much immediately - guaranteeing and easy win for the enemy. Our only other AA ships then were a Gneis and an a Clev - yeah, you cann immagine how that went. Also if your 3 dds COMBINED dont manage your base xp .......... And finally ololol random dev. strike through the ofc heavily angled bow of lup3s cl ....... Then we had the enemy sitting in our cap and we had to push against invisible DDs + incoming plane-strikes. It took four full spreads from the Kami, but eventually you will die from even just taking 1 each ...... still, I lived at least twice as long in that situation as I would have in a shitty cruiser. We played these ops actually before we went to pvp to help me further the grind on the QE. Just one example. I think I played Budyoni, Clev, Leander and so on (all 5-starers, thanks to having lup3s at my side too) - and then when I got to the Nürnberg I was busy explaining to great length why I think this ship is bad (now) and you pretty much want all the other ships in basically every situation possibly ...... ........ so after bitching the whole game about this ship, naturally the game had to go out of its way to make me look awkward. (tbf it fairs usually well in ops. Since it also doesnt ultimately need any skills, it can be used to train new captains for other ships for those not doing p2w) And if you think the results is a carry by itself, think again: Yep, that one missed! Feels good man, feels good! And with all these carries, I apparently just got enough compliments to balance out +/- 0 the report tears harvested. If only you could use them for clan buildings ....... -

What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?
havaduck replied to Hanszeehock's topic in General Discussion
This: (without a division and a random team instead even!) I remember playing a CV (out of co-op) last time for the Grand Naval Battles event - and stopping because of how ridiculous op they are in the hands of even a total cv-noob (me). Kinda like some other class whose main skill is crying about absolutely everything ...... When ops became available I decided to have a T6 CV for ops - because finally CVs are playable without giving humans sky cancer. So I finished the grind of the T5 in co-op (took a long time because co-op and autodrop). Then recently finished retraining and upgrading my T6 CV in co-op (unlike others, I dont want to consciously drag my team down - same reason I didnt want to play a T5 cv without manual drop in ops). By now I am actually so damn confused a which points my torps arm, that its a damn miracle I hit anything. (Initially I didnt have torp. acceleration, then did, then some changes in the arm distance, then adjusted to no longer having manual drops, then suddenly back to manual drop but also having 50 % torp acceleration due to captain retraining, and now back to full torp acceleration ........ and all that with only a few games/month in a cv). Not bad. Nothing like the 300 k+ damage games @lup3s pulls with his CV, but I know my limitations and cant even hope to match that skill. (On the other hand my rng is better: I cant land 20+ torps without a single flooding ) Even dropped a DD because my team refused to shoot the DD I had kept spotted with fighters for several minutes - although I had asked them because I also needed to rearm those fighters ...... Its actually fun in ops I have to admit. Cruiser use defensive fire, bots are probably better at evading then the avg player ....... I might even get a T6 USN CV (I think I finished Bogue already). In short: (honestly, dives are derpy enough with their drops for this to be totally accurate! ) -

What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?
havaduck replied to Hanszeehock's topic in General Discussion
From yesterday. In my defence I got no ships that reliably can cause a flooding ........ but this one (and the T6 Sky-Ca) : (damn creds are really good, maybe I should actually play this more ....... if it only wasnt so p2w .......) So got those 2 needed floodings on the first try ...... but little did I know how dearly I would pay for the usage of the p2w boat. This one nearly gave me a stroke ....... at which point I still would have been a better CV player than what MM decided to put on our side as true Sky Cancer: Imagine a Hiryu with stock planes, trying an ENTIRE game to damage a Ranger escorted by a Cleveland. The entire [edited]game over and over and over again with foreseeable results. I kinda want to see that guy trying to make love to a electric pencil sharpener with the same determination ........ Rest of the team was great too ofc. Easily topping on team because of "brilliant" support. I mean we could have won this even without a CV, but not with what the rest of MM decided to dump on our side. and ofc this one: - all the idiots in the BBs on the same damn cap, - which they couldnt take ofc, - being afraid of scawy dd, - cowering at the A line (at least 2 of them), while the rest was b and c line instead of ...... I dont know helping us. Guess which idiot had then had the audacity to even open his poop chute in chat? Yep its one of our T10 BBs, I am not saying which one (so not to name and shame, but the result tab is shame enough anyway ), but lets just say its as bad as you would expect. And its not like they yoloed in or died immediately somehow. They all sat there and watched us struggle against a enemy which actually brought some of their BBs (+cruisers + dds) along against us. And then they ran to the border and lived actually a fúcking lot longer than deserved at which point I simply got to ask: HOW the hell do you not to above 500 xp (or 300 even) in a T10 BB if you live longer than 10 minutes (have to look up the replay for the exact survival time) ........ Like I said in the chat: It doesnt matter if the idiot in BB refuses to play at all the next time he sees one of our clan on his side, his performance wouldnt change anyway so there is simply no threat there. Meanwhile we got 2 caps against very difficult odds - but alas BB-buff-time aka cyclone made sure this rigged game (as if 0 BBs wasnt bad enough) was unwinnable. (At least Izumo tried to sell himself high, although the game wasnt winnable by then ......) All in all, after 2 such games in a row and wishing "some players" network cable would take into a (very poisonous) snake oozing salt and poison and bite them between the legs, I had to turn to ops .......... Thankfully there are ops, although you only get a chance to do some dmg if lup3s isnt playing the cv. (also only a 2 Scrub div helps too, but then the risk of a defeat is greater ) -

Doesnt seem historically accurate -> looks like more than 16 inch (around the chest) ....... but then again super heavy ....... shells, I suppose. btw that pic reminded me ...... Taste the rainbow? Even worse from work. I have to put up a certain decorum and a small pretence of sanity there. Basically when you see a lot new pages added and you are really tempted to just have 2-3 minutes small "reacreational break" to be focused again later: If they dont show up here, we will bring this thread to them: well........ at least the hooves are there, although it could be a little harder than usual to find a version of the prime evil donning socks too to appease AO. "Bad News" here: I certainly dont do 3 containers a day. I did a few extra co-op games today to even get the second one! I think I am more on like a 1,3? average overall. I guess that will push us over the millennium if you guys dont kick me out. Anyway, I suppose we need to harvest tears in clan battles if we want big numbers in oil ........ and tbh I am still contemplating Lorans mail. I havent made up my mind weather I not I am to much dead weight that should just keep away, or if I should at least pose at some sort of reserve if we dont have enough players on a particular day. But ..... but ....... lolaz0rs! You gotta have FO lolaz0rs n nukes and ofc the FO: Equestria mod. Well I actually have coincidently FO 3 installed (from playing it over a year ago I think)..... somewhat "unmodded" - for my standards ofc. On a pure quadcore you just also had to make sure the game wouldnt utilize to many cores (glorious soviet prokrammink) or it would crash inevitably (which doesnt correspond well with a hardcore-mode and saving only on certain spots), but if you had a CPU with hyperthreading (and you couldnt turn it off because notebook bios without options) ........ oh my lord! (Threadhopping/jobsplitting is black death for this shitty engine) I dont think I would ever do the repeated dives through the guts of the gamebyro engine again - out of pure hope of increasing the time between crashes. Just NO! Also means, unless a refurbished version comes out, I gotta keep a DC or QC PC around on which I know FO is able to run without the "usual hickups". You had no idea how happy I was when I heard Gamebyro would finally be dead (at least a chance for a new beginning) ......... but then Bethesda bought it! Damn! I mean I do love Bethesda games, but they have been catastrophes in terms of bugfest on release every time ever since; and on top you had that shitty engine that usually wouldnt utilize what you had in terms of available resources on your pc and is simply a mess in total. IE New Vegas hadnt even set the large adress awareness flag etc ....... no to mention "the rest". Or Skyrim which had a guy writing a translator for some the ancient of the x87 !!! code for "modern cpus" (something like the PIII with SSE is to too "futuristic" for Skyrim) to SSE 2 and it basically doubled performance before after half a year or year later Bethesda finally patched shít themselves. I had the same "doubling" in performance when FO 4 wasnt playable even with my SLI in high settings because of the constant drops ...... but then, hey no Problem, 2 cards are plenty, 1 would do even! To summarize its: Most Bethesda games can be graded using the "The Bethesda System" (google if you want to know more) and at least at release the technical side is usually full BTS VI at release. ........... anyway, enough complaining. AO wants Fallout because he knows thats full Pony territory! (I am not even kidding, AO couldnt have picked something more Pony infused and expanded if he tried ) Only one of MANY great SFM animations! There are also even audicasts/-plays/-books; ontop of the regular fanfics ofc! Just one more here, but if youd like more, just enter Fallout Equestria and SFM into Youtube! This one got , and ofc Black Jack makes everything better! *I regret nothing - Black Jack is life!* Probably sums up yesterday too. ^^ If you need to pass quickly a few minutes (say waiting for a patch to finish): This one now has a tutorial, I think (not that you really need one and its more fune learning things yourself). Dunno about the latest improvements but I always enjoyed going for a quick round: FoE game in rogue mode. Now I want to play Fallout 4 even more ............ *insert obligatory "aint nobody go time for this"* Anyway before anybody complains about only FO stuff today and not enough Desu (? - the one AO keeps correcting me on TS should sound more like "desr" .....), so have some Desu Nurse Redheart. Paraphrasing Gene here: We are now at 57 pages of "this" - and yet the clan rosters are full (until we get the headquaters enlagred with magical crude-oil tinted blue pills) -> Imagine the over-encumbrance without.- 3,079 replies

[SCRUB] The Scrubs - Recruitment thingy
havaduck replied to Loran_Battle's topic in Clan Recruitment
Do you know what time it is? Wait, around the 8-9 sec timemark it sounds like a japanese accent tinted version of "shít" In my defence: I had a friend over and we had a beer, or two, or ........... So before going to go to I might play some co-op matches for the 2k container and ofc give my fellow Scrubs their much deserved bump! Also Derpy feels flattered to be a appreciated and loved mascot: ........ also I love the Derpy/Dinky-stuff. In many fanonizations a Pony version of Doctor Who is the father. There is even a version in which Dinky has a older sister (Amethyst - due to a episode) which maybe should help understand that scene with all 3 of them in the Guardian-animation - or the chase-scene as a whole ^^: I notice this is bordering on spam, so one last more and youll be save from me (at least for now): Fun fact: My birds actually love to use each other (and naturally me if they get the chance) as a pillow ..... so this is actually (adorably) accurate.- 3,079 replies
