That may be. My experience is that when I used it on Yama nothing happened, but on Aki, Kita and Harugumo ive gotten many games when both First blood and Kraken triggers got activated. But at the same time im a DD main and dont really like the stale gameplay of Yamato so that can of course also be a factor here. I perform way better in DDs then in BBs.

I used to love Blyskawica back in the day and not only because she has those great Swedish Bofors guns. Problem now days tho is that she has been powercrept for ages and really need som love from WG. Its also the only ship in that nation so nothing to train commander for. I have the Monaghan but never play her so maybe thats telling in some way. Have the Molotov as well, never play her either, she was fun when she came with her T9 guns but shes made out of glass. Gref is much more tanky, and Pert has a cool smoke. Maybe you should go for Blys!? Do keep in mind these games was pre-powercreep. Cheers!

I pretty much go full bananas on Camos and flags for my top tier premiums like Missouri, Kutuzov, Jean Bart, Belfast etc. Alwats the best camos and economic flags for those ships I know I perform outstanding in. Premium consumables I run on every ship in the game (maybe easy to say when I also own Missouri that prints credits for me) but my thought here is the the cost for all those prem consumables you get back and then some by the damage output and extra survivability they give you.

Love them both as they are pretty similar. Islands huggers and outside-cap-contesters both, DD killers!! Wooster has more consumables then you have fingers and are decent at countering CV strikes and great at countering DDs both in caps and in open water. Harugumo (with full gunbuild, as I run her) has almost same range as Wooster 15+km (but rainbow arcs...), no citadel, but also no heal. Pretty much the best gun AND torp setup for any DD in the entire game but misses out on consealment. I have them both and I love them both the same. What I would recommend for you is more dependent on if you prefer DDs or cruisers? If its the same I would say, in current CV meta and upcoming ranked season, the Wooster. So instead of fixing these work in progress carriers we implement a whole new line to counter them? Well, that sounds like WG actually!! And then they can release the Escort AA DDs all broken and crap, sell some OP broken Premiums and the we can come up with a new class of ships to counter them.....

I think I will be abot 30-35 short of 600 after the last Fly strike win. Did the first stage of torpbeats, guess I will need ro do second stage (50 torphits) but guess that will be a grind and a half.

This is my thoughts as well but I dont play CVs but I know your pretty much Super Unicum at the so is this really any kind of nerf to CVs?! I was also thinking its more like a buff. You see more where team is going after 45 seconds, you have possibility to see alone BBs left behind in spawn by DDs and cruisers. This will also perhaps create a false sense of security for DDs so they will try and push caps because they think CV went elsewhere only to get surprised by planes inside cap.

Just had a RageFest regarding the Carrier Rework. Was not a fun game in any sense, but still a really insane and close win.

Im sorry but I never cared much for stats i any way. I tried it on Yamato and Zao, almost no effect, tried it on Akizuki and got one of the triggers (First Blood or Kraken) or sometimes both as you can see in my Akizuki with Yamamoto playlist on my channel, lots of other games I just got 4 kills and a shitload of damage. Thats how I knew that was rhe shipline for me to put my Yamamoto. But of course players should put him on the ship they play the most. But I would say care less about the ordinary bonuses and more about those 2 special triggers.

Heres another great example from one of the forumites i believe. How fun did you think the players on the rest team (or green team for that matter) had? How long will the playerbase stay with these kinds of games, maybe the game will change name to World of Carriers soon because it will be no other classes left. Then we can watch these 2 vs 2 CV games all the time!! This is a tier 8 CV in a tier 10 game ....... This is 1 or 2 tier higher ships hes up against! 260k damage .... 6 kills ....... 5,2k BASE XP! Do you guys think he could have gotten these numbers in any other ship? And these ships arent broken?!?! He could probably played this game with one hand, drinking some coffey with the other, how many hands do you think those other dead ships needed to survive for as long as they did? 4-5-6?! Trying to play the manage you AA sector minigame. And they died. How could any of these dead players have played this game differently/better for a better outcome in the game? Please note the 4 ships remaining in the end are the 4 Carriers! I wonder why? Maybe because they never have to risk anything. And before CV mains start to cry and whine about loosing some planes that never runs out. I saw this players planes get shoot down all the time, still didnt effect his possibility to just spawn a new one in a second and just go after same target again, so whats the point? CVs has always been called the Cancer of this game and I think it just became terminal Cancer.

Hands down Akizuki. You wont trigger the Yamamoto effects as much in any other ship! Since I got Kitakaze and Harugumo ive moved him up so now days he sits in my Harugumo. Red team dont wanna see that ship trigger the Kraken perk, those guns with 1,7 sec reload!!!

Sure they do but looking at a whole lot of CV games on YT these days where the floodchanse seems a bit low I would still opt for the torp spam/reload booster options, specially at the 5-7 tiers where BBs tent to insta repair 1 fire etc. I was missing a shima thumbnail for that video so I had to borrow one of WGs wallpaper shots instead. Sometimes you just have to McGyver it!

I cant really agree. Sure its a team game but that doesnt mean that you should be forced to blobb together and lemmingtrain like [edited] to survive and have a chans. Flamu is totally right in the fact that it should be based upon good strategic thinking and good performed tactics. Skill must always be a factor and I feel that even tho im pretty bove average skilled in this game it doesnt matter after rework, Because my skill cant negate the possibilitys that the CV sits on. And forget about trying to sneak around by yourself as a DD and try and snatch a cap or ninja a kill on a unexpecting target. Forget about pretty much play a DD all together. Dont know what you mean by KM BBs. Sure they got hydros, but I feel that was more a flavor (like AA for US and speed for french) I cant really say those was as game braking as CV rework. This has the potential to alienate a huge population of the playerbase.

I hear you brother! Maybe we can team up in Co-op in the future. Maybe its time to dust of an old Assasins Creed or something until they fix this mess. I had to respec every god damn ship and captain I have for this rework, change German strong hydro for meh AA on my Hinden etc etc, respec all my DDs to try and have some pathetic AA instead of actually speccing them for what they are build for and not even all this saves them or any other ship from getting strike after strike with no end in sight. Only lemming like [edited] and blobb together all game and do nothing else then hide from the fire spewing dragons circeling above (damn, worked in a GoT reference there ....).

To secuence fire your torpsalvos in ships like Shima or torp reload booster Yugumos is a pretty good tip. Get a flood with first wave and then follow up with a new one after they repair. That said, those DDs are the worst ones to play these days in this heavy DD meta, but its you biggest chance to get the achievement.

Isnt XP and credit gain damage percentage based? Which means you get a whole lot better XP and credit gains by attacking a small HP pool target like a DD rather then a huge HP pool target like a Kurfurst or a Yamato? Also with all the 3-4 cap domination games I think going after and killing of the enemy teams DDs would have a much better effect on the outcome of the game and trying to chip of bits and pieces of a 100 000 HP BB. Low damage on CVs? Really? With ability to strike 3-4 times its not that hard to get a perma flood or fire, and a couple of seconds later you have a new squadron in place to hammer some more. And since you never take any risks you will always survive the full 20 minutes (unless you f''k up), thats why you often see a CV vs CV fight in the end lately, only ship that cant die (unless you ..... well you get the point).

Well, im no expert on WoT since I never played it (only watched it on Jingles), but Artys in WoT cant permaspot any tank at any place on the map at any time. Artys can blast any tank on the map 4-5 times within 30-40 seconds with impunity. Atrys can drop fighters to permaspot one tank and then attack another. Artys cant reach all spotted tanks because of fireangles. And the delight your speaking of is bar to none, since the only way a CV gets spotted by you is if hes asleep or afk, and even then if your a DD he will kill you with strikes and secondarys way faster then you ever kill him.

How does this work? I link my WG and twitch accounts and watch someone stream WoW, does that guarantee me a box or what? Do I get more the more I watch or is it just pure RNG?
