Daaamn ,,,, 50 knots... no wonder I got struck then. So its seems tp be almost 90% CV (Haku) games in ranked 5 to 1 and then it will be pretty harder to save a star when the CV can outsurvive them all. It was really a genious move by WG to add cvs into the ranked season, specially since they are not even close to be finished balancing them. I guess I need to become a CV main instead.

Im working on the collection but I feel like im doing something wrong? I dont feel like a get a lot of drops in crates? I even have the hideous port selected (dont know if that matters....) Looked at my missions and I cant see any activated that I need to grind. Have been playing a lot of Ranked and Randoms. Is there a special ship I need to play?! Feel like this is the first collection that I may fail to get done...

I can totally see your point. This thread didnt really account for CVs since WG pretty much made them a class above all the rest and in their own little bubble. And also the fact that I never played CVs and dont really know the state of them in this moment ( with rework 3.5 coming in the next patch...) Havent had much issues with CVs in my grind exept for a game I faced a OMNI player in a Haku. I know a CV can crap on a 1 vs 3, but can you average 220-270k fames in them? Maybe you can with Hakus AP bombs... One thing that also baffled me with Haku was its ability to strike me with torps?! All other CVs torps I have no issue to outrun with engine boost? Are they so much faster in Haku.

I think you are correct, sir. I guess those was from a mission, was just a bit baffled to get flooded by pictures from 2 collections that I had finished a long while ago while not getting any for the only one I have active. Sweet, im kind of a completeist .... If thats a word ...? I have finished all the past collections.

If you want to get some tips on how I play Henri to get all these games showned above, I will dump a whole series of "Henri in Ranked" videos on my channel the upcoming days, maybe that can give you a tip or two. Not saying im a pro player, but I seemed to have figured out how to maximize on the Henri. Have a average damage of 131k per game right now and the number just goes up. Heres the first video in that series. Not saying my ship or Captain build is the best there is for Henri, but you can see it and my explanation around my pics in the video below. But, YES, you definatly want IFHE on your Henri, you even pic that before Consealment expert. IFHE isnt specially great for the 2 predecessors, C. Martell and Saint Loius, but for the Henri´s 240 mm guns the IFHE skill makes you murder all top armoured ships with 50 mm plating, like most T10 BBs, Khabarovsk and especially pests like Moskva and Stalingrad as you can see in the pics above. They just melt under your fire with IFHE skill. And I actually opted out of all AA build since AA is pretty broken and bad at he moment and even tho im actually push the enemys strong flank alone in the Henri I usually dont have that much of an issue dealing with carriers, exept that one time I had to face a OMNI player in a Haku.

That is pretty much mu strategy at every start of the game as well. Follow the DD towards the cap, get spotted (because running the Legendary module gives you 16km detection), see tha number targeting you go up to 4-5 or 6, activate speed boost and turn , making all those salvos miss, and then its just free farm on all those spotted ships. Extra bonus is that you almost spot then enemy teams movement just as good as a CV. I think it can carry a potatoe team pretty well, only problem is if you are all alone and no one spots for you and you have 16 km detection ... I can totally see you point, seen a lot of bad Henri players in ranked as well, but I feel that is more the players then the ship. And I have to disagree about the damage farming is just to try and save a star. I think everybody in their right mind (which is a stretch in Ranked ... I totally see the irony here xD ) would play to win first, because winning a star is much better then just saving a star. And "Damage farming" you could say to pretty much the most ships (Yamatos, Rep, Zao, etc etc.). That said its just an extra bonus that when you get a team that just suicides in the first minutes you will always put so much damage on the enemy that you will secure the nr1 spot on the loosing side. And as you can see from the pics, you have no troubles tanking often 2 million damage while burning down their BB support. The only thing its kind of bad at, for obvious reasons, is pushing caps and helping DDs out in caps (even thos the reload booster can be devestating to DDs when spotted).

Yes, I think im at 40% done but I feel like im behind somehow. Seems like all other collections have been done so much faster. And for some reason I get a lot of Bismarck and Dunkirk thingys even tho im done with those collections way back?!?! I finished all the other 10 collections so I guess im quite a completist (if thats a word, dont like any loose ends ....). Just worried I wont finish this in time. But do they just drop randomly in those daile crates or can I do something to speed up the progress? (would love to change to another port ....)

So I can only activate the Motherland collection after I finished the Azur Lane one? Thought I had all the collections.

Must say that Henri IV is THE best ship in Ranked season. Either you are top on the winning team and progress thru the ranks or you are the top of the loosing team and you keep your star.

I just baffled over the fact that it doesnt really seem to matter much which class you play, there is always something braking the game for you...... And WGs fix for this is just to release more broken A**ss ships to balance the first ones. And how they thought it was a good plan to release their biast Russ BBs into a CV+Harugumo+Colbert+Smolensk+Kleber+Somers+etc etc Meta is just comedy gold. Im not in a rush to grind that BB line since the last thread of decency and sanity left after playing ranked season with carriers and 4-5 rental T8 players on the team is sailing on fumes these days. I think cruisers are by far the strongest and less effected class these days, which say a lot. Everything effect them in some way but they are not totally crapped upon like DDs and BBs.

I heard a lot of whining from BB and cruiser player that the HE spam from H is pretty OP. But maybe its just regular whine. I think H is pretty OP. A DD that can make a Wooster run away is pretty strong. But I dont mind, im usually on the spamming side.

Why would BBs turn and run if their not taking damage?! I think this ship was quite effective at all ranges in the videos. And I never claimed she was the biggest treat just another OP firespammer together with all the other firespammers that BBs love that much. And I havent met a BB yet that can manage this kind of firespam, and this is just one ship shooting. But I guess we will see what happens... we have to agree to disagree.

That fact didnt seem to matter much to all those T10 BBs that melted under its guns and turned and tucked tail. This ship will melt BBs with fire and destroy any kind of AA it has. And with 18 km range "overextended" means you actually left spawn. So BBs need to reverse from start to not overextend. Cruisers wont be that effected by this ship since it will be hard to hit unless they are stationary.

I agree, what was totally wrong just a while back is suddenly totally ok for this new meta. Also just wait for the new french DD line.... Problem with BBs pushing together is with the speed and agility of this ship I have a hard time seeing them hitting him much and probably most overpens when they do. And trying to push this ship will put them into a not so nice crossfire from BBs. I out perform all those ships pretty much every round in my HE spamming Henri, Harugumo etc. This ship will pretty much be able to get shots on target all match with its agility and ROF and 18 km range. And repositioning takes about 20-30 sec max in these french baguettes. Heres me taking on a 60k HP Yamato + heals, a Zao, a Montana and a Salem, killing of the Zao and Yamato and chasing of the Salem all while loosing 1000 HP (started at 13000 HP i think), and this is in a much much bigger ship that is wau less agile then this Colbert gonna be. This, pretty much! And dont forget about the great AA, that said its pretty hard for a CV to strike french cruisers anyways because of the speed and DefAA.

I want one for sure. Already love my fast firespamming Henri, this look even more OP then Henri. In Hanri I get 260, 270, 280 k damage games with up to 3,5 million potential damage, this ship will top that. Im just wondering if this ship will kill of the BB players like the "CV rework" killed of the DD players. Soon we will only have firespamming cruisers left in the game.

Yup, matches are pretty much decided on how many rentals each team have. Why dont WG rent out T10 ships to all Random players as well so we can ruin that mode as well?! ..... Oh, well ..... there is always the CV rework ...

I will buy the Captain first and then probably some premium time and some flags. Already have Murmansk and Leningrad. Is it just me or do you get way less of these tokens then the first kind? Or is it just because ive been playing ranked?
