I would love this as well, specially since WG forces this change on us and we all will loose a huge chance to earn elite XP on our 19 point captains. I usually only play about 10 % of my ships i have in port since CV rework so for me it would be easy to just skill up a coupla of the legendary captains to 21 and then just use them for the few ships I play these days. All the other 80& of my captains with 12-17 skillpoints each could just go on the scrapyard or something. Instead WG will try and force me to grind or spend cash to get my fully grinded captains up to elite status again?! Hell no. I say its ZERO chance WG makes up for this change in this way.

Did I miss something, wasn't it supposed to be a snowflake event or something where you could earn Steel and Coal?

Probably put about 1000 Euros on this game between 2015-2018. Haven't spent a penny on it since CV rework. Now I wish I could get a refund since this game is a totally different monster to the game I supported back in the day .... when it was fun. Never ever touch my mid tier ships any longer and I have a lot of fun ships, why? Who wants to be cannon fodder for 2 enemy CVs in ships with literary no AA what so ever. That sais I hardly touch 70-80 % of my T9-10 ships either for the same reason. Who wants to be diiick slapped all match by AP bombs and AP rockets with zero counters.

Its the same with Warships. Every good change to UI we gotten since CBT has come from Aslains. WG usually lags 3-6 patches behind Aslains mods. I for one get a huge advantage in battle with my Calm seas mod. Its like aimbot for days.

Kind of totally different ships so mostly down to your prefered playstyle, both are aequally strong imho. JB has great speedboost, MBRB that can [edited]up any cruisers making mistakes in front of you, can somewhat bowtank but guns do get knocked out. Mass has fast heals and great secondarys. Both are pretty good at brawling if you do it smartly, but they do it in different ways. Best is to search on YT and look at many videos and then you will see how they play and then you decide which one you want to be.

I just wanna clarify I wrote wrong in my earlier post. I ment to say "This gaming company". Spending a ton of money on all the other gaming companys im all for, well atleast most of them ..... Just started to play Valhalla and will soon start to play Cyberpunk.

I think Jingles latest video summed up my feelings about this. If this happened 2-3 years ago I would think T10 ARP Yama for money would be insane. But in the state the game is today ..... who really cares? In Jingles video there was a guy playing T10 ARP Yamato that has never played this game before, so he started up at T10. I think he had like 30 games total in the game and about 20 of them was in his bought T10 ARP Yamato. He only owned 2-3 premiums, hadnt grinded any tech tree ships. The guy pretty much played as you would expect, cant really hate on the guy when its WG that is the problem. But the kicker, the thing that summed up my opinion about this was, even tho his lack of any skill or experience of this game and the fact his bought himself into T10 there was still 3 or 4 other, long time players that was way worse then him in this game. Players that grinded full lines and some even playing somewhat OP ships like Georgia and broken zombie heals ships like Lion, that performed worse. So where is the harm? Its not like T10 is any skill based tier at all any longer with its BS CV,s OP Russian ships, totally clueless playerbase and all the 3-4 minutes roflstomps? At this point I stopped caring a long time ago. WG doesnt care so why should we? They are just after your money and could care less about the toxicitet and problems they create an a weekly basis. So why not flood the servers with Subs and some more Smolensk and Petro clones, and lets have flying invicible Russian OP Carriers what dump nukes on everything and lets dumb down the game some more for the CV masterrace...... and sell some more Premiums and Containers while at it. I still logg in from time to time, mostly because im very close at getting 3 ships for free. Somers for steele, Pommern for coal and Freisland for Free XP. I mostly play broken azz Premiums like Thunderer, Smolensk etc because why shouldnt I? Its the only way you can enjoy this game any longer. I fully understand why CVs is one of the most popular class, its the only one exempt from all the BS all other classes have to deal with.

I dont know why people still waste money on this gaming company that always treat them like crap? Specially on crappy containers that just been getting worse and worse for every year. Best way to show our feelings about the direction this game is heading with subs, BS OP CVs and all the rest is to just use the free ingame content and cut of the money flooding in.

This pretty much! Missouri is just an Iowa but her credit making potential was breaking the bank back in the day, but these days will all the flags I dont see why they wouldn't bring her back. They could just nerf her credits a bit. The last 3 (and probably more game breaking ships in the future) is released into the game and then pulled so all wallet warriors can spend all their Christmas bonuses on trying to get them in the containers. Soon Kitakami will get released and pulled for same reason. Its a business tactic so dont hold your breath on WG releasing these money cows for Coal/steel.

haven't seen much of this ship before, is it a real turd or semi-decent? My next are Somers for Steel at Christmas snowflake event and Pommern in a while for Coal.

This Flambass video is pretty much making the point of the first one. Im not saying that if every BB player does this it will magically work every time. But if they start doing this more and do it smart they will see a lot more BB players and DD/cruiser players follow them into the fray. Some would probably say "Well this was just another steamroll" as we see every day in WoWs, but it really wasent. This became a steamroll yes, but only because Flambass side played like all should. DD and 2 BBs pushing up front backed up by a firespamming cruiser in the back. The enemy team on Flambass flank wasent potatoes, they did quite good but was still no match for Flambass and his teammates coordinated push. I think Flambass point in the end of the video is also very on point. "Aaah I wish I had these great teams like Flambass has every time" (while they always sit sniping on the A line). Flambass gets these great teams because he is involved in the push and he tanks for his DDs and cruisers. Thats why he is above average successful (Super unicum), he never sits and snipes at A-line and then blames the team for the loss when they are all dead around the caps and he´s still full HP. And having these moments and teammates in WoWs is a great feeling, you almost wish you could buy all of them a beer after the match.

This seems to happen a lot after the last patch. Guns and torps "jamming" when you fire. Its has been specially when using MBRB on Jean Bart, Klebers and TRB on Asashio etc.

Flambass just made a video about this. This is not ALL on BB players but they with their 100 K HP and heals play the biggest role in this. When mostly BB mains gets their head around this they will probably start winning most games their play. It is actually this simple (most of the time) , but instead in 80-90 % of the games we have 3-4 Full HP BBS and rest of the team dead. Imagine if DDs where out front, spotting, screening for torps, BBs a couple of km´s behind tanking, dealing damage, getting smoked by DDs or disengaging now and then and last cruisers a couple of km´s behind the BBs spamming long range fire. Instead we have DDs and cruisers getting blapped and then 3-4 Full HP BBs still sitting on the 2-line.

I haven't gotten that but I did have my guns get "jammed" for 1-2 min a couple of times since last patch. I click like a idiot on the LMB but nothing happens and my guns are ready?! Seems like they always create some interesting new bugs with every patch. I also start many battles with Ocean minimap, which means the islands haven't loaded into the minimap but I can see them in the regular view. Then suddenly 2-3 min in there is a "hiccup" and it loads in??

Had a nice WWE Smackdown at the C-cap involving a radarcruiser, CV, 3 DDs, Venezia and some other dudes in my "No smoke-[edited]da CV-TRB for that full Viking build-Zero [edited] are given" Yugumo.

Wait long enough and I'm sure all "banned" ships will return when WG get desperate enough. Don't really know why any ships would be banned now days with the state of the game. We already have all the crap in the game, so why not just add some more? I mean, WG is about to release Kitakami again! We All OP unbalanced russian ships, we have all the CV BS with soon to come bouncing bombs and more. We haven't even seen the Russian CVs yet. How much harm could Belfast and Kutuzov do to the state of this game? And yes I have them both.

Great match! Is that ship good? Never played it myself.
