Imho the most powerful DD in the entire game.... but that's just me! Will you win gunfights with gunboats? Of course not! But I would challenge anyone to tell me another DD with same damage output and consistency. Probably the only T8 DD in the game that gives zero faaaawks to getting up tiered into T10. Asashio wants to be in T10, that's just more damage, XP and credits to farm. And it can do well even in games with less BBs/No CV. You just kill of the few BBs on enemy side and give your team a massive advantage and then you cap with great concealment and shoot HE in smoke at targets of opportunity. There is a good reason why its my nr. 1 favorite ship in the entire game. And I have most ships. Asashio prints Krakens and 200 K games at whatever tier it plays and 2 of my 3 Solo Warriors is in Asashio. Its a Monster!

Maybe that you dont wanna give money to a gaming company that tries to ruin their own game at every turn by releasing new OP/unbalanced BS ships and making everything pretty much unbalanced. That is at least my reason why I haven't spent money on this game the last 3 years.

Sure, this is Kitas little sister Akizuki and the poor victim isnt a destroyer but a Full HP Destroyer-hunter-killer Atlanta, but yeah....... the IJN Gun boat DDs has devastating AP versus broadsides. That's a half dead Akizuki devastating a Full HP Atlanta in 4-5 seconds with a crap-ton of citadels. Versus a broadside destroyer you have pretty much the same outcome but with less damage taken.

Oooh ..... My ..... God! He is Such a victim. He really thinks many CCs get the samt hate as him? I dont think no one has the problems that he himself created for him. But if they ended his CC its just a good thing, we don't need CCs spreading false information to the entire playerbase. Regarding the Dutch airstrikes I guess, for me as a DD Main its a pretty good thing since radar cruisers sitting guarding the caps will be huge targets for this (like the Alaska in the video). SO I guess they wont be able to do that anymore without getting nuked, which of course will make them pretty useless. I can see a lot of 1 DD + 2 Dutch cruiser Divs in the future. DD pushes into cap and if a radar is near he will get blapped by the 2 Dutchmen.

Most stupid video I watched since No Zoups mentally challenged video about the counters of Dead Eye. Only thing the video proves is that Supertesters is actually all from good players to window/glue lickers and this was a demonstration of the latter. If people want to know the effect of this its way better to watch the first videos that got released (Full HP Montana nuked in one strike, Alaska the same with 4 fires etc etc.). Because those was probably average to slightly above average players. Wait to Unicums and Superunicums go out in 3 man divs in these ships and nukes 3 of your teams Yamato/GK/Kremlin etc in the first 3 min of the game pretty much just securing the win for the team at start. This is such a BS mechanic, and it yet again proves that WG is clueless and don't know how to balance anything. At this point... what is the point?! Why not bring back all the BS restricted ships like Benham, Full range Smolensk, Belfast, Kitakami etc etc again? Its not like its going to make this game worse then its already is. And everyone going "Hey, wait a minute! They are in testing. Of course, WG won't release them as broken as this"....... CVs Benham Smolensk Kutuzov Thunderer Belfast Kamikaze R Soon new Kitakami Soon subs etc etc etc CVs

Just as sloppy and lazy as the entire rework which is just a massive failure at this point. They took a DD skill and copy- paste it over to BB tree.... this is the WG braintrust. Thing is, IF there wasn't Fun police (CVs) in this game Swift in silent would actually be a great BB skill for some builds. Think about Republique, Ohio, Georgia, Jean Bart with concealment and Swift in silent skill that can just speed boost around a flank and devastate the enemy team. think about the great battles and brawls, the epic tactics you could deploy. But since there are CVs in the game this fun and engaging Swift in silent build is totally useless. But of course WG doesn't understand this. Why not copy-paste a cruiser skill to BBs at least?! Not really. Skilled players will make do, less skilled switch to range mod and get 25 km range and still fast reloading HE spamming guns. This was just as non-nerf as the AA nerf to Kremlin and torp nerf to Khaba. Its just BS. And Thunderer was one of the few BBs that didn't need Dead Eye in the first place. Pretty much just all the rest of the BBs that got nerfed ..... accept Thunderer. So... GG WeeGee ..... GG!

Skilled players will get the same performance out of the 21 km range, less skilled switch to range mod and get 25 km range and still faster reloading guns then most other BBs. Maybe a 5% drop in damage output if even that. Only nerf that would affect Thunderer is HE alpha and fire chance nerf.

Am I missing something here or isn't this just a guarantee to win all BB/BB duels? If a Ise spots a enemy BB, then enemy BB will of course try to angle or go bow in to the Ise, the Ise then launces torp bombers and attack the BB from the flank, then the BB can choose to eat all Ise torps or turn into the torp planes which will force him to show perfect broadside to the Ise and the Ise player just take control of his ship again and blast him for citadels? Is it really this retarded or did I miss something? So WGs tactic to counter all the CV-hate is to turn every surface ship into a CV? Well not DDs of course, players still needs a class to just dump crap on.

I'm guessing this is a strategic move on WGs part for the upcoming shitstorm during the release of the "40 torp coming for your teammates and killing everything green" - Kitakami. Just imagine the level of players we see in higher tiers now days commanding a ship with that devastating ordnance ... for its own team. Can still remember the days back in CBT when you sat in the cap in your DD when suddenly you get the torp alarm from the back......

Yeah this evening was a real crap show. Don't remember what game this was but one game I played all our 4 DDs was dead after 4 minutes. None of the red DDs was dead. After that it became somewhat of a steamroll. Good to have met you tho!

If you want to use torps with longer range then 8 km plus and you are able to hit friendly then you are gross misspositioned.

Starting to feal the same. If you continue to send your paycheck and account info to that strange African Prince in your e-mail every time, can you really complain about getting shafted? History has been pretty clear with WGs track record. What was it again about doing the same thing over and over and expecting different outcome .....? Only thing that can effect WGs business practice is to stop doing business with them. No income would make them listen and change.

Players think she is so situational, but the fact is she scared the living crap out of any BB captain on the red team with her constant stealthy torp spam that hits like a truck. She also has a pretty decent alpha on her guns and good fire chance. Have killed many cruisers and DDs with guns sitting in smoke. And for a CV she is hard to detect and if they do you can turn into their attack or just use a smoke. With 20 km range torps you can even strike the CV if he gets spotted once since they often never move. I have a crap ton of 200 K Kraken games in her and 2 solo warrior. She is way more then what meets the eye.

Best in what way? Most OP?! In game right now? So all Premiums ever released regardless if they are available to players now? Id say: 1. Asashio (T8 that Shits on T10 players and ships, 200 K/Kraken games is pretty common with following XP and credit gains) 2. Kamikaze R (T5 that Shits on T7 players and ships, 140-200 K/Kraken games is pretty common with following XP and credit gains) 3. Thunderer/Smolensk (T10 that Shits on T10 players and ships, couldn't care less if you are trying to angle, 200-300 K/Kraken games is pretty common with following XP and credit gains). Sure, technically "Special ships" and not Premium.

This was from a game yesterday Sure only 8 plane kills but the CV never tried to go for me either. Those 8 planes was whenever he was stupid enough to fly in my neighborhood. Never felt any problems killing planes in Smolensk or in Petro, for some reason both these seems to have stronger AA then both Des Moines and Wooster. And I don't even run Def AA on Smolensk, I run hydro. Fells like CVs never want to get close to a Smolensk or Petro if they can help it. And 19 fires with 86 000 extra fire damage seems fine to me.

Is KOTS still bugged? Have been watching since 15:00 today and my progression says: Seems way behind since I had it up for 5 hours by now.

Ive always opted for the brawly, pushing in, fighting style in my US BBs and have secondary builds after the rework on my Georgia and Mass. I would say im competent player and successful at brawling but I noticed a big change since the nerf. Are they dead - dead? No, you can still have games like you shown here but I think you would agree that they are very few and far apart. I would say that if you are not very competent att reading the game and knowing when exactly to push in a secondary BB its hardly worth the investment in captain skills, and that is why I think many say they are dead.

Hey we haven't seen Subs yet...... just you wait! Or Russian carriers for that matter....... Especially hilarious on German BBs. Its like water sprinklers firering 360 and hit 1 out of 300. Its a firework show for sure.

I can be completely wrong but im just sure that I finished every weekly mission chain. But there isn't a way to go back and check this now right? I figure since it is quite an amount i missing it must be a complete week that I missed, just can't figure out how since I play at least 4-5 days/week.

I know Smolensk OP and all that but I did have a bit of a pain in my lower back after these two games.

I'm 95% sure ive finished all the missions each week since they not that hard and im also pretty sure I haven't spend it on another bundle since they are really not worth it. Is there some way to check this in my own port (the last weeks missions)? I think I gotten 2 Twitch drops, at least the one from the other day (125 tokens?), but im only like 155 tokens in on the DD bundle so about 2750 tokens away from the DD And the Iron camo.
