For me its hands down JB! I have both ships and dont get me wrong, Alaska is an amazing ship, somewhat tanky with great AP and hydro/radar so great utility for the team. JB is just super strong and so much fun to play! I have zero games of Alaska on my channel but plenty of JB and its always amazing fun games. Maybe it the way I play both ships (usually pretty aggressive player) but since im more a cruiser/DD Main I should do better in Alaska then JB, and I do excel in ships like Henri, Hinden, Wooster; Venezia etc ..... but not in Alaska. Here are just some examples of how you can have fun in JB:

I dont know man. My experience lately is that the skill level at T10 is all time low. And about 98 out of a 100 games ends in a steamroll with 0-12. You actually get baffled when the game is longer then 10-12 minutes and if you see teammates focus same taget or do good plays, its like "What game IS this"?!

Just ran into a Jinan and daaaamn that girl can spew out deep water torp soups. Just saw one T10 BB after another getting struck torp after torp with perma floods. This ship makes the Asashio look like a turd. So many DWT with a Torp reload booster and it can fire spam from smoke? Not surprised he ended up first on the winning team.

You actually think players are better then the bots? Have you played in a while? BB players showing broadside to ships that can blapp them happens 4-5 times every T10 game.

Its pretty much the fore shadowing of the Kitakami ...... or maybe the four horsemen...... Its the upcoming T10 Pan asian cruiser that has 4x5 DW torp launchers (I think) with great damage and flood chance, long range and a torpedo reload booster which pretty much makes this ship what would come if a Asashio and a Smolensk had a baby. It makes the Asashio seem kind of Meeh. I was on the same flank and the DWT soups just came wave after wave. And the T10 BBs just sank and sank. Think they hit cruisers as well but I used the 19 km range of my Nevsky. Guessing its WGs way to test the water for Kitakami and other broken crap they will release in the future. Just saw Flambass Condo video where he dev strikes Shikashimas left and right with one reload salvo. Also a "balanced" ship....

In BB, CA, DD if you get pinged you will see a thick orange RPF-like symbol for the direction the ping came from. If you are experienced, you will then Guess-timate depending on the nation of the subs on enemy team the range from where he pinged you and can drop a pretty accurate airdrop of depth charges.

People who whine in chat and call all their teammates donkeys after getting killed in first 4 min while always hiding in Division with better players Always have hidden stats ........ for some reason..... If you're a decent nice player just trying to evolve and get better there is no reason to hide your stats. Unless you have paper skin and give a crap about what trolls on the internet thinks, but then you have bigger issues then stats.

First way to balance Subs would be shorter range pings and torps and longer cooldowns and give alla classes those airdropped depth charges that the BBs get because those ship launched ones are pathetic and will only get you killed.

Then I would highly recommend Haru, Daring or Halland. Haru plays more like a cruiser while the later 2 are pretty OP in current meta.

What are your biggest interest? Torps or guns? Or both?

Yeah, that was a really good game. 2300 Base XP is nothing to scoff at. For me its just to inconsistent. I feel its more about MM and RNG when I play it, while the rest of the DDS it more up to my skill what I will perform. And I like to lean on my skill for the results.

Don't get me wrong, she is a pretty decent all rounder, specially with all those consumables. But in the current Meta with all different OP ships like Halland, Daring, Vampire 2, Druid, Haru, Shima she pales in comparison. I have at least never gotten any "youtube worthy" game in her, not even close, while in the rest its pretty easy. She is the Montana of the DD world, good on paper but gets crap on by the competition.

Am a DD Main that excelled in most DDs in the game but Groz is Meeh A-F. All consumables in the game but still underperforming. My guess, considering its Russian, it will soon become a premium and replaced by a new OP DD like I guess Khaba will be soon. Haven't played Groz in years because its bad. If you want great T10 DDs you go for Daring, Halland, Shima or Haru.

Had a game like that yesterday, for some reason WG thought this was a good idea to just have 4-5 sometimes visible ships on both teams?! The BBs in this match died rather quick.

I would say it depends on what class you play most and how much gain he will bring to it. As a person who loves brawling secondary BBs like Georgia and Mass im very interested in the new T10 Schlieffen. As fun as it seems it looks like a ship that will die very fast if played the brawling style with current Meta. I have chosen to have him on Hinden because I just love that cruiser and its still one of the strongest in the game and you will activate Lutjens special talents every game. This also makes it possible for me to have him on my Mainz, my Tirpitz, Scharnhorst, T-61 etc etc. I watched a game with Trenlass and he got a huge heal (like 40 %) when he had him on a sub and he activated a talent. So, food for thought.......

Anyone done the math on how many more German tokens you can earn just by playing? Think I need about 1000 - 1100 more to get the T7 one. It should be a new mission in about 3 days, yes?

Hard to say with such little information, is it a special DD you are thinking about? I would say this, most times you will be playing a ship that is weaker than some of the competition, it's rare to have the most OP ship in the match. But just like radars and CVs you need to learn to work around it. First off, never push into a cap at start, that is guaranteed suicide, all radar cruisers, CVs and DDs will focus the caps the first 2-3 min of the game and no game gets decided on which team gets a cap the first 2-3 min. So if you face higher tier DDs with better conceal, they will probably push into the cap at start because they feel cocky, so you don't. Stay outside cap and spot for your team and throw torps into cap, if you lucky you kill the enemy DD. Then after a couple of min most ships has been spotted on the mini map and you know what you face (radars /DDs) in you cap/flank. Most DDs and radars get tired of sitting by a cap after the 4-5 min mark because they want to farm damage and get kills and then you can usually push in and snag the cap from safety. And after that you can usually work around your flank and get useful by torping spotting and capping even if you are the underdog. For more tips check out my DD Main Youtube channel below.

I don't see this as the big problem but the lack of skill over all of the high tier player base. For example I see a lot of losses watching Flambass streams where he divisions with Trenlass and Gibbons, all very solid players. So just having an Uber div doesn't ensure a win. My biggest pet peeve is that 90 % of the matches now days at T10 ends in 12-0 steamroll win in 8-10 min. Because T10 players know nothing about game mechanics, positioning, how to read a minimap or angling. DDs rush in and suicide the first 2 min instead of chilling a bit for the first 3-4 min and seeing where the radars and CV goes etc etc etc. And MM probably sucks

Ok, now I understand the OP. I can completely confirm the tinfoil hat thingy in regard to when I play every other DD in the game there is a CV, but the second I choose my Halland I can't find a CV to save my life. But is it really the same with standard battle?! I don't know if this depends on which times you play but I usually rarely see standard battles, maybe one in 20 or something, whatever mission im trying to complete. But I can be completely wrong here.
