Must have been Somers that time. Mostly play Somers, Asashio (for outrange radar torps and premium) and Halland (for the FU to CVs) these days. all the rest just collect dust. But I only have RPF on the two first DDs. But done pretty similar thing with my Hinden with 6 km hydro active as well and couldn't really say it made any difference in the success of hunting the sub. After wasting time for about 5-6 min that time he just re-surfaced and took out our CV who also tried to spot him. Funny thing is they do this kind of stupid Leroy Jenkins type of straight up the middle pushes that would be suicide for any other smart player in any other class but being the new protected class, they can play as stupid as they like and have zero consequence and often remarkable success. I guess its the same players that then hop into a T10 BB and dies withing 3 min of the game, because they haven't learnt anything doing the grind. WoW, the thinking man's action game.......

Had a game where I very foolishly went and tried to counter a sub that had sailed straight up the mid into our spawn and was pinging and torping our BBs. Sailed around in donuts over his head dropping ASW on cooldown and got 1 hit! ! Had RPF which just circled around at all times since it sometimes attaches on subs at certain depths and sometimes not so I had zero chance to know when it actually showed his direction. He got detected, I went to the position and dropped ASW and circled around. I did this for about 10 in a game doing jack crap with spotting for my team or being actually useful with scouting, capping, spotting enemy dd torps or attacking enemy BBs and cruisers. In the end I never got him because I couldn't find him even tho he was pretty bad and got spotted many times. So conclusion. Its useless to try and help your team and try and counter subs. Just let them wreak havoc in you base uncontested and just focus on farming damage until steamroll ends. This is how stupid this game has become.

We cant. Its pretty much just a waste of time in the future. Just let the subs drive stright into enemy base as [edited] and sit there and spam pings and torps at anything with zero pushback. If I read correctly between the lines (as most of us are experienced now days) even BB airdropped ASW will become mostly useless. "BIG EXPLOSIONS but you will never hit hem, because this is our latest money grab". Escape from Tarkov anyone?

Thats cool. I just prefer the main gun reload buff since that I can control. Secondays for me just still seems a bit situational and still a bit bugged (wont fire at certain points and over some shallow land masses). Also never wrong to buff the already insane DPM of Hinden.

Hindenburg!? Anything other would be a waste imho. I get Lutjens activation every game in Hinden.... every game! And with the extra heal and firechance/DPM of the Hinden it just makes it Broken. This is from an hour ago. Tried to carry, which Hinden is probably the best Carry ship in the game, but team just didn't wanna win. And of course, the gravy on top is that you use Lutjens with same build on Mainz, which is OP Junior and also great with Lutjens activation every game.

Those are not bots, bots actually know game mechanics. This is even more common in T10. T10 BBs and DDs suiciding in and die after 2 min with 4-500 XP in post battle results. Thats why I mostly focus on damage farming the few min the matches last these days. This is what happens when it takes zero skill to grind to T10 or Rank 1 in ranked. Many players just pay themselves to T8-10 without even learning the game and those are WGs best customers.

I haven't spend a dime on this game in 3 years. I was talking about where to place my free tokens. Went for the most expensive ones, the Megas and got a couple of flags and camos.... Imagine people paying real money for this Sheiiiit!

I had a fairly decent run in the IJN sisters.... For me its totally worth it just for the Insane Minigun DPM.

My 50 cents: MAuboyneau (FR): Dont really bother unless your a French Main Cunningham (UK): OP A-F, specially on Conqueror and Thunderer where your will get the 4 point capt skill for extra heal after burning some ships, also great on other great ships like Daring, Cossack, Nelson, Belfast etc etc. Kuznetzov (RU): OP A-F on Kremlin, pretty good on Petro as well Lutjens (GER): Activation in every match in Hinden, Mainz etc, gamebreaking? Not really Swirski (PE): Activation every game in Halland. Gamebreaking? Not really Best in my opinion. Yamamoto: Harugumo and Kraken = Minigun from Hell. Cunningham= Cant really kill the Conqueror. Kutznezov if you Like Kremlin.

Only thing I really want is Benham but I guess I have greater chance of winning the Powerball lottery. So then whats the best crates to go for?! Remember last of couple of years back the middle ones were best.

Seen Trenlass who isnt a CV Main direct drop a DD in smoke with skip bombers for several K damage several times so see pretty good all around.

Alaska for me, great all rounder. Pretty tanky, awesome AP and enhanced AP pen angles, decent AA, radar, hydro, good utility for the team.

I really love Nevski as well, but in my experience, I feel like Hinden is a bit more armored and tanky at range and sets more fires/gets more damage. Sometimes when I fire spam from range w Nevski it feels like mosquito bites on the BBs and the damage doesn't tick up like Hinden. Then Nevski can be devastating to surprise DDs in caps with that radar and DPM.

Seriously, haven't played Missouri in ages, always thought it was somewhat of a tuuurd with good moneymaking. But these 2 games...? Maybe its that somewhat protected T9 MM?

A while back she was a monster! Just watch the timecoded end of this clip Now days with the flood of big guns and CVs everywhere she is just really really strong ship! With ships like Stalin and Smolensk I would rank her top 5 T10 cruisers in the game alongside Petro and maybe Venezia. Roon is not really that strong but when you get Hinden all is forgiven. She has great HE pen and fires and her AP is monster. Yolo torps deluxe and 6 km hydro. Shes great at burning down BBs and cruisers from 21 km range and has good survivability with 1 extra bonus heal standard. Works really well with Gunter Lutjens.

Well I gotta say ...... this one kind of hurt... 273 K Damage .... In Missouri..?!?! Kraken, High Caliber and Confederate...Aaaaand a loss.... Almost the tops base XP in the game. But looking at my teams score.....

Its hard to take a loss, even in a T5 game when you have more XP then the first guy in the winning team.....

I wonder which Christmas crates you should use them on? Wasn't it a thing a couple of years ago that the middle one was better then the Mega ones?

Watched this video from Flambass on some tournament. Almost fell out of my chair laughing when I see that poor Vermont just submerged in secondary hit explosions and even after he died it continued for 10-15 seconds. The poor Austins and Gearings just melted. Guess WG didn't foresee this being a issue....... Even a 3-man div with this ship must be hilarious.

`Could have something to do with team lineup. I play a lot of radar cruisers like Wooster, Nevski and Petro and its very MM dependent if I will go in with DDs to caps or just farm at range. Not so fun to hide behind small island by a cap if the enemy team has a CV or maybe a couple of subs. Cruisers cant really do much against subs.

I actually dont know what a carry ship is at this current Meta? I guess I just want a ship where you can enjoy a match, getting a decent or good result without just getting dumpstered on by Subs, CVs and all the rest, Most of the times these days I play either DDs that can be stealthy and avoid all the BS that way or I play those few broken/OP/or just really strong long range ships like Thunderer, Conqueror, Hinden, Smolensk etc etc and just try and get really high damage games. Im pretty close to be able to buy her with coal and coupon so I think I might pull the trigger. Haven't heard of anything else intersting in the pipeline.+ Is the 12 km torps on Yoshino same as Zao torps?

Me to brother, me to..... I can see she might not be as good to carry then some. I have a bit experience in long range damage dealers like Thunderers, Hinden, Henri etc etc and on paper I cant really find that many negatives on this ship beside its size and maybe a bit weak Armour. but when you have great dispersion and almost laser like shells and can sit at those ranges I think I should see more amazing results with this ship then I do? I think Flamu said he thought Azuma sucked and Yoshino was good but I have no experience in either.
