Don't think this is only these 2, most of BBs at T10 except new German Battlecruisers usually sit on 10 line. I think these 2 are usually not as tanky as some of the other T10 BBs. Know Thunderer can go down quite fast when focused and even Conq with its zombie heal can do as well. But this is pretty much the name of the game these days, and it will only get worse. -

Hey if I get the new OP crap for free I will take it, but I would never drop another dime into this BS game/company. But with the investments I did in 2015-2018 when this still was a good game I can keep on seal clubbing and getting new broken/OP Premiums for coal, steel and Free XP for all the years to come. -
Atago is great, the OG Premium from back in the day. T8 with a heal. But being uptiered it stuggles and explodes a lot. On the other hand Asashio gives zero foooks about being uptierd, It actually loves being up tiered because it means more damage, XP and credits. Its like that guy that rides in on a pale horse ......

Not considering what class the player is best at and stuff like that, I'd say Asashio. It shits on all tiers and specially on T10 BBs so income quite great. That said im not sure if this is "perma ban" ships or if it will come back now and then.

But I don't understand how this ship, even tho great concealment, can push to a "central position" on "many maps" without taking any damage? I have never seen this happen in any game mode and I do own the ship myself and love to actually push in and brawl in secondary BBs which I have many videos of on my channel. But in my experience Schlieffen can't take massive focus fire which you do, especially if you push in center map which opens you up to CV strikes, torps, HE spam, cross drops and Massive AP shots from most angles. But again, if this is so OP and this being so easy to just steam roll in, why don't you show us? How you just steam roll to Rank 1? I would really love to see this happening. Maybe I just need to learn to play this better as a brawler then the rest of my successful playstyle in brawling BBs. Other then that I think we just have to agree to disagree about this. -

This might be true, but we can all contemplate extremely specific situations on specific maps where some strong ships might excel in ranked, but this is still no evidence for a ship being OP/broken and need of a nerf, correct? I can probably think of 20-30 ships of the top of my head, that might seem broken if I can create a specific scenario on a specific map in a specific game mode. -

Well he was apparently nose in to 2 cruisers, there should have been some BBs on the other flank that could have had a field day on his citadel since he must have shown full broadside to them while speeding towards the 2 cruisers. So this whole scenario makes zero sense to me. And I faced a few Schlieffen's in cruisers and they burn/take damage quite well. And 6 km hydro doesn't matter that much when pushing DDs since dancing around their hydro spotted torps makes you turn, loose speed and show broadside to everyone and their grandma. If the ship was really that OP the forum would be up in arms about it, not just 2-3 guys. And if its so OP why don't the guys that have the problem with it play it and then they can show their perfect win after win score here in the thread. Must be rank 1 in a couple of hours guaranteed, yes? -

Seriously?! I have a hard time seeing these scenarios you are talking about, maybe if you had a replay? I have the ship and I can tell you if I push in in like that I would be dead in seconds since it has weak armor and low HP. This must be the case of really bad green team that are asleep or something. So you are telling me a Schleiffen went Yolo across the map with 2 kiting cruisers engaging him, and im guessing cross fire from several BBs on other flank since he shows broadside to them while pushing like that and no one can hurt him? I really want to see this replay! -

Yes but since this is a rare occasion (ranked) I don't see how this translates to the OP? In ranked you should always expect "extra" in all the ways possible. If 2 cruisers push in when there is brawling god present (Schleiffen) and they dont have a plan B/an out, well then they have miss played and should loose. So sticking with the subject of the OP the Schleiffen and Co are pretty balanced since in randoms the Yolo style = early death -
Daring out of Meta?

My 50 cents on this is that it takes some skill to do very good in Daring, its easy to look at other DDs great strength and go "Ooh, look at Harugumos DPM and torps with TRB, look at Kleber with speed, good torps and 15 km + range, look at Halland with his middle finger to all CVs and mega fast torps and good guns etc etc etc. Meanwhile Daring is strong in all compartments, but not really great or OP, but she can look OP if a skilled captain plays her. She has good guns with decent range that set quite a lot of fires, she has decent torps but pretty short range but you can stack them as conga line of death. She sucks at AA and must use smokes to hide from planes but she has many smokes. 10 km torps makes it hard to use in the "every ship has a 12 km stealth radar meta", but if you play around the radars you can devastate a bow in BB with 10/10 hits. I had Daring for ages and I like her a lot, but same time she is one of my least played T10 DDs, but I cant really give you a reason why. I do know that with all the CVs in the game I play way more Halland than any other DD. I think the Meta plays a huge roll. Hard to play a DD with decent 10 km torps and decent 13.5km guns (?) in a Meta filled with CVs, 12 km radars and every ship in game has now a 6 km German hydro. Most DDs I play these days has long range armaments, like Asashio (20 km torps), Halland (15.6 km torps), Somers (16 km torps), Kleber (15 km + guns and stealth torps), Harugumo (15 km+ guns and massive 12 km torps). Playing these in this current meta gives you more enjoyment of the game and you don't have to care about those 12 km radars. -

So you say a Schleiffen can just magically get half the team (and were talking the most campy players at T10 here) to join him in a Yolo/Suicide push (which most early pushes is) and succeed?! I have the Scheiffen and that ship takes damage like theres no tomorrow. I have a hard time seeing a Schleiffen surviving that while dodging CV strikes, torps, crossfires from Yamatos, Ohios, Thunderers etc etc? If a Scheiffen can just steam roll an entire flank I think the opposing teams suxx azz and probably deserves to loose. -

But I don't really see the problem and im a DD Main. If German battlecruisers wants to YOLO/Suicide then just hang back a bit, keep him spotted while kiting him from outside 6 km range until he dies which he should quite fast and when his wreck sinks you push in again and take the cap? They are only a problem if you sit still in cap and don't move, but then its hardly the ships fault. When contesting caps you should always consider every threat to your ship and play accordingly. In this case Smålands, Ragnars and Russian stealth radar cruisers are way bigger problem than german BBs. At least them you get a 6 km heads up before they become a problem. In the cases of radar DDs and Russian cruisers, you should always wait a bit and see which flank/cap they get spotted at and play accordingly. No match gets decided what teams DDs take the cap first 3-4 min. Usually its those DDs that die quick and then complain on forums. Better ti chill first 4-5 min and spot and torp and then when enemy DDs has capped and moved on and radar cruisers has gotten bored and moved on Then you should steal back the cap and usually under zero threat. -
That makes sense. I just thought WeeGee would take this opportunity to "make Russia great again" with new buffed Khaba ship that shits on all DDs, the same way Petro does in the cruiser class.

I don't get it? Why go thru the hassel to create a new ship and move the old to premium/special just to replace it with another mediocre meeh boat? It makes no sense. Wouldn't it just be better to give us the old pre nerf Khaba back? Its hardly that OP these days when power crept by Ragnars, Klebers, Mogadors, Marceaus etc etc. Also way more counters to an old Khaba these days with all the railgun cruisers, gunboat DDs and Russian CVs. Is it fair to think they might stealth buff it over a couple of updates until its the DD version of Petro? Maybe they just didn't want to release it broken and avoid the shitstorm? Why would WG want the Russian DDs be the most underwhelming in the game?

To a certain degree, yes, but some ship lines will have a greater effect due to player skill and I think these cruisers are great examples of this. 70-80 % of the player base will think these ships suck but unicums and super unicums will still get amazing results. With most other ships rest of the player base will do more ok in them. If you stay at the side where the red team are fleeing you won't do Jack sheeeit because you simply don't have the range/HP to engage. If you spawn och move to the red pushing side you will have massive potential, especially in the T9 and 10.

Not played much, but had this game in the T7 yesterday. Top tier and all but at least decent when you get to use your torps. If I had gotten a better team I might have done 200 230 K. Spawned on the flank where enemy team just ran so had zero impact, made a quick decision to change flank (Two brothers) where the enemy team was pushing us and then it was a real game changer even tho my team was somewhat lacking.... Will probably use some free XP to go straight to the T9 Sejong when its available, seems like a pretty nice ship and a bit less CVs at that tier. I think this line is very situational almost like Austin (even tho I never played her). Think success will come to those who has a great map awareness during matches and those who identity good positioning and re-positioning to the red pushing flank. But since most of the player base lack basic skills of this game I think most will think it sucks. Unicums will excel at this line. Having the T9 or 10 Jinan on the red flank will probably be Christmas.

Have both only play Cossack these days. Its a strong DD if you know how to play it. Scharn was very fun a couple of years ago but pretty power crept and not as fun now. -
Just saw Maltese knights video on Yoshino and started to wonder about his ship. It kind of flew under the radar for me because every time you see one in battle they either die in first 5 min (by dev strike) or they do mediocre at best. But watching this video I saw: Great HP Tons of consumables Ability to have Yamamoto which is always OP. First blood gives you 5 heals total and all the rest extra cons, and getting a Kraken late game with heals and faster guns must be amazing. Great gun/torp angles. Seems almost like Henri backwards shooting angles? Way better torp angles then Zao which are quite pathetic. Great ranges 20 km torps and 25,5 km guns (with spotter plane) otherwise "only" 21 km. torps that you can just spam/flood on cool down now when FF is off. I don't know?! For me it seems like a Zao on Mega Crack but much better in every way? So why don't you see Youtube flooded with 250-350 K games in this ship? What am I missing?!

In late 2016 British light cruisers were introduced in WoWs (but without HE which was deemed OP in combination with smoke and torpedoes) - now in 2022 we have "Pan-Asian" light Cruisers which have everything (and them some)...

The mind of WG....? Which has happen over and over and over again.... so is anyone shocked? If there a buck and a half to squeeze out of a new class/ship/Mechanic that will ruin the game some more they will implement it .... over and over again. .... and player base will take it .... over and over again. Thats the sad part, and even sadder part is many pay for the privilege. Seen how many Sejong's were in Battle first day of release? And that a grindable ship that will be free for everyone in a few weeks?! So if player base throw money at WG for doing this to their game, why should they stop? Subs were NEVER making it into WOW according to WG back in the day and they are coming back, for sure! And then we will all enjoy WG trying to balance that class as long as they tried to balance CVs which still is such a CLustefaaak. So good times! I try and understand the News article, but I fail. I understand you get the T6 Rahmat by doing missions and then there is some crazy expensive camos and then after a million tokens you can get the T8, But how can you get the T7?! Is it not possible to get the T7 without some creepy loot box? Is it even possible to get enough tokens to get the T8 Hardin by just playing the missions? -
Seems like the torp soup Meme role will soon be taken by Jinan, so maybe Kitakami is old news now, a has been.
